[Machine] I went to Aisha and said, "O mother of the believers, tell me about the character of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ." She said, "His character was the Quran. Do you not read the saying of Allah, 'And indeed, you are of a great moral character.' (Surah Al-Qalam, 68:4)" I said, "I want to learn more." She replied, "Do you not read, 'There has certainly been for you in the Messenger of Allah an excellent pattern.' (Surah Al-Ahzab, 33:21) Surely, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was married and had children."

[Machine] Abu Huraira said about the saying of Allah Almighty {Nations like you} [Al-An'am: 38], "All creatures will be gathered on the Day of Judgment: animals, beasts, birds, and everything. Then, Allah's justice will extend to the extent that He will take vengeance for the horned animals from those who wronged them. Then He will say, 'Be dust.' That is what the disbeliever will say, 'I wish I was dust.' " Jafar al-Jizri is the son of Burqan, who was cited as evidence by a Muslim, and it is authentic according to his conditions, and it has not been rejected.

[Machine] I recommend the Caliph who comes after me to be mindful of Allah, and I advise him regarding the early immigrants who were expelled from their homes, that he acknowledges their migration and recognizes their virtues. And I advise him regarding the Helpers, who took in the immigrants and embraced the faith before them, that he recognizes their virtues and shows gratitude towards those who do good to them, and overlooks the wrongs committed by them. And I advise him regarding the people who have a covenant with Muhammad to fulfill their obligations towards them, and not to burden them beyond their capabilities, and to fight their enemies from behind them.

Ibn ʿUmar replied "When the Prophet ﷺ reached Mecca he performed the Tawaf around the Kaʿba (circumambulated it seven times) and offered a two-rakʿat prayer (at the place) behind the station (of Abraham) and then performed the Tawaf (Saʿi) of Safa and Marwa, and verily in Messenger of Allah ﷺ you have a good example." I accompanied Ibn 'Umar on the way (on a journey). He led us in two rak'ah's of (the noon) prayer. Then he proceeded and saw some people standing. He asked: What are they doing ? I replied: They are glorifying Allah (i.e. offering supererogatory prayer). He said: If I had offered the supererogatory prayer (while travelling), I would have completed prayer, my cousin. I accompanied the Messenger of Allah ﷺ during the journey, he did not pray more than two raka'at until his death. I also accompanied Abu Bakr, and he prayed two raka'at and nothing more until he died. I also accompanied 'Umar, and he prayed two raka'at and nothing more until he died. I also accompanied 'Uthman, and he prayed two raka'at and nothing more until he died. "On the night on which the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was taken on the Night Journey (Isra'), he met Ibrahim, Musa and 'Eisa, and they discussed the Hour. They started with Ibrahim, and asked him about it, but he did not have any knowledge of it. Then they asked Musa, and he did not have any knowledge of it. Then they asked 'Eisa bin Maryam, and he said: 'I have been assigned to some tasks before it happens.' As for as when it will take place, no one knows that except Allah. Then he mentioned Dajjal and said: 'I will descend and kill him, then the people will return to their own lands and will be confronted with Gog and Magog people, who will: "swoop down from every mound."[21:96] They will not pass by any water but they will drink it, (and they will not pass) by anything but they will spoil it. They (the people) will beseech Allah, and I will pray to Allah to kill them. The earth will be filled with their stench and (the people) will beseech Allah and I will pray to Allah, then the sky will send down rain that will carry them and throw them in the sea. Then the mountains will turn to dust and the earth will be stretched out like a hide. I have been promised that when that happens, the Hour will come upon the people, like a pregnant woman whose family does not know when she will suddenly give birth.'" [Machine] "To have the year among the people as a time of conflict, but if you establish and it is said that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ has performed Hajj, then the disbelievers of Quraysh will be unable to prohibit you from entering the Sacred Mosque, then do as the Messenger of Allah ﷺ did. Allah, the Blessed and Exalted, says: 'Indeed in the Messenger of Allah you have a good example' (Quran, Surah Al-Ahzab, 33:21). Then he said: 'I bear witness to you that I have performed 'Umrah, then he continued until he reached the outskirts of Al-Baida. He said: 'By Allah, I do not see any path for them except this one. I bear witness to you that I have also made Hajj with my 'Umrah'. Then he performed Tawaf for the both of them together once."

O people of Iraq, how strange it is that you ask about the minor sins but commit major sins? I heard from my father ʿAbdullah b. ʿUmar, narrating that he heard Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying while pointing his hand towards the east: Verily, the turmoil would come from this side, from where appear the horns of Satan and you would strike the necks of one another; and Moses killed a person from among the people of Pharaoh unintentionally and Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, said: "You killed a person but We relieved you from the grief and tried you with (many a) trial" (xx. 40). Ahmad b. ʿUmar reported this hadith from Salim, but he did not make a mention of the words: "I heard".

I asked Anas about the Qunut (i.e. invocation in the prayer). Anas said, "It should be recited before bowing." I said, "So-and-so claims that you say that it should be recited after bowing." He replied, "He is mistaken." Then Anas narrated to us that the Prophet ﷺ invoked evil on the tribe of Bani-Sulaim for one month after bowing. ' Anas Further said, "The Prophet ﷺ had sent 40 or 70 Qaris (i.e. men well versed in the knowledge of the Qur'an) to some pagans, but the latter struggled with them and martyred them, although there was a peace pact between them and the Prophet ﷺ I had never seen the Prophet so sorry and worried about anybody as he was about them (i.e. the Qaris).

Other than Allah?" They will say, "They have departed from us; rather, we did not used to invoke previously anything." Thus does Allah put astray the disbelievers.

besides God?’, alongside Him, and these are the idols. They will say, ‘They have forsaken, abandoned, us, and so we cannot see them. Nay, but ˹actually˺ we were not invoking anything before’. They deny that they used to worship these ˹idols˺; but then these ˹idols˺ are brought ˹before them˺ — ˹which is where˺ God, exalted be He, says: ‘Truly you and what you worship besides God shall be fuel for Hell’ ˹Q. 21:98˺). So, in the same way that these disbelievers have been led astray, God leads astray the disbelievers.

Abu Bakr said, when he sent me to Syria: O Yazeed, you have relatives and you may give them precedence in allocating positions of authority; that is the most serious thing I fear for you, because the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ʿWhoever is appointed in charge of any affairs of the Muslims and appoints over them anyone by way of favouritism, the curse of Allah be upon him and Allah will not accept any obligatory or nafl prayer from him until he admits him to Hell. And whoever allows anyone to transgress the sacred limits set by Allah has transgressed the sacred limits of Allah unlawfully, and on him will be the curse of Allah and Allah will forsake him.ʿ (Using translation from Aḥmad 21)

[Machine] "When twenty-nine nights had passed, the Prophet ﷺ entered upon me. I said, 'O Messenger of Allah, you took an oath that you would not enter upon us for a month, and it has only been twenty-nine nights. Did you count them?' He said, 'The month is twenty-nine days.' Then he said, 'O Aisha, I have something to discuss with you, so don't rush until you consult with your parents.' Then he recited to me, 'O Prophet, say to your wives...' until he reached 'a great reward.' Aisha said, 'He knew that my parents had not instructed me to separate from him.' So I said, 'Should I ask my parents about this matter?' Because I desire Allah, His Messenger, and the Hereafter."

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: When one of you recites "By the fig and the olive" (Surah 95) and comes to its end "Is not Allah the best judge?" (verse 8), he should say: "Certainly, and I am one of those who testify to that." When one recites "I swear by the Day of Resurrection" (Surah 75) and comes to "Is not that one able to raise the dead to life? (verse 40), he should say: "Certainly." And when one recites "By those that are sent" (Surah 77), and comes to "Then in what message after that will they believe? " (Surah 50), he should say: "We believe in Allah." The narrator Isma'il (ibn Umayyah) said: I beg to repeat (this tradition) before the Bedouin (who reported this tradition) so that I might see whether he (was mistaken). He said: My nephew, do you think that I did not remember it? I performed sixty hajj (pilgrimages); there is no hajj but I recognize the came on which I performed it. (وكم من ملك) أي وكثير من الملائكة (في السماوات) وما أكرمهم عند الله (لا تغني شفاعتهم شيئا إلا من بعد أن يأذن الله) لهم فيها (لمن يشاء) من عباده (ويرضى) عنه لقوله "" ولا يشفعون إلا لمن ارتضى "" ومعلوم أنها لا توجد منهم إلا بعد الإذن فيها "" من ذا الذي يشفع عنده إلا بإذنه ".

malik:25-15

Yahya related to me from Malik that the best of what he had heard about horses, mules, and donkeys was that they were not eaten because Allah, the Blessed, the Exalted, said, "And horses, and mules and asses, for you to ride, and as an adornment. " (Sura 16 ayat 8) . He said, may He be Blessed and Exalted, "In cattle, some of them you ride, and some of them you eat." (Sura 6 ayat 79). He said, the Blessed, the Exalted, "Mention Allah's name over what He has provided you of cattle, and eat of them and feed the beggar (al-qani) and the suppliant (al-mutarr). (Sura 22 ayat 34). Malik said "Allah mentioned horses, mules, and donkeys for riding and adornment, and He mentioned cattle for riding and eating." Malik said, "Al-qani also means the poor."

[Machine] "And those who disbelieved, their deeds are like a mirage in a lowland which a thirsty one thinks is water until, when he comes to it, he finds it is nothing but finds Allah before him, and He will pay him in full his due; and Allah is swift in account. "And the example of those who disbelieve is like that of one who calls upon that which hears no sound—a mere darknesses within a vast sea which is covered by waves, upon which are waves, over which are clouds—darknesses, some of them upon others. When one puts out his hand [therein], he can hardly see it. And he to whom Allah has not granted light - for him there is no light." So he is like one who walks in darknesses, unable to see where he is going; speech is darkness, actions are darkness, entrance is darkness, exit is darkness, and his destination is towards darkness and the Fire on the Day of Resurrection." [Surah An-Nur 24:39-40]
