4. Friday Ṣalāh (Jumuʿah)
[Machine] Sit, for you have hurt and tired him. Said Abu Al-Zahiriyah, "We were talking with him until the imam came out."
Whoever washed himself on Friday and applies perfume of his wife if she has one, and wears good clothes and does not step over the necks of the people (in the mosque to sit in the front row) and does not indulge in idle talk during the sermon, that will atone (for his sins) between the two Fridays. But he who indulges in idle talk and steps over the necks of people (in the mosque), that (Friday) will be for him like the noon prayer. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 347)
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever takes a bath on Friday, wears his best clothes, and puts on perfume from his family's fragrance, then goes to the mosque without crossing people's necks and offers prayer, and then listens to the Imam, will be absolved of sins between that Friday and the next."
[Machine] To sit until the imam stands up to give the sermon and then he starts stepping on people's necks.
