[Machine] Abdullah ibn Umar and Abu Hurairah reported that they heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying while standing on the steps of his pulpit, "A time will come when some people will stop attending Friday prayers, or Allah will seal their hearts, and they will become among the heedless."  

أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ وَأَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ حَدَّثَاهُ أَنَّهُمَا سَمِعَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ وَهُوَ عَلَى أَعْوَادِ مِنْبَرِهِ لَيَنْتَهِيَنَّ أَقْوَامٌ عَنْ وَدْعِهِمُ الْجُمُعَاتِ أَوْ لَيَخْتِمَنَّ اللهُ عَلَى قُلُوبِهِمْ ثُمَّ لَيَكُونُنَّ مِنَ الْغَافِلِينَ  

I intend that I should command a person to lead people in prayer, and then burn those persons who absent themselves from Jumu'a prayer in their houses. (Using translation from Muslim 652)   

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ لِقَوْمٍ يَتَخَلَّفُونَ عَنِ الْجُمُعَةِ لَقَدْ هَمَمْتُ أَنْ آمُرَ رَجُلًا يُصَلِّي بِالنَّاسِ ثُمَّ أُحَرِّقُ عَلَى رِجَالٍ يَتَخَلَّفُونَ عَنِ الْجُمُعَةِ بُيُوتَهُمْ لَيْسَ فِي حَدِيثِ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ بُيُوتَهُمْ  

“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ‘Whoever abandons Friday (prayer) three times, for no necessary reason, Allah will place a seal over his heart.’” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1126)   

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ تَرَكَ الْجُمُعَةَ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ تَهَاوُنًا بِهَا طَبَعَ اللهُ عَلَى قَلْبِهِ
