The Prophet ﷺ said: Among the most excellent of your days is Friday; on it Adam was created, on it he died, on it the last trumpet will be blown, and on it the shout will be made, so invoke more blessings on me that day, for your blessings will be submitted to me. The people asked: Messenger of Allah, how can it be that our blessings will be submitted to you while your body is decayed? He replied: Allah, the Exalted, has prohibited the earth from consuming the bodies of Prophets. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1047)   

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَفْضَلُ أَيَّامِكُمْ يَوْمُ الْجُمُعَةِ فِيهِ خُلِقَ آدَمُ وَفِيهِ قُبِضَ وَفِيهِ النَّفْخَةُ وَفِيهِ الصَّعْقَةُ فَأَكْثِرُوا عَلَيَّ مِنَ الصَّلَاةِ فِيهِ؛ فَإِنَّ صَلَاتَكُمْ مَعْرُوضَةٌ عَلَيَّ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ وَكَيْفَ تُعْرَضُ صَلَاتُنَا عَلَيْكَ وَقَدْ أَرِمْتَ يَقُولُونَ قَدْ بَلِيتَ؟ قَالَ إِنَّ اللهَ ﷻ حَرَّمَ عَلَى الْأَرْضِ أَنْ تَأْكُلَ أَجْسَادَ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ وَقَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ مَرَّةً إِنَّ مِنْ أَفْضَلِ أَيَّامِكُمْ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Increase the prayer upon me on the day of Friday and the night of Friday. For whoever prays upon me a prayer, Allah will pray upon him ten (times)."  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَكْثِرُوا الصَّلَاةَ عَلَيَّ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَلَيْلَةَ الْجُمُعَةِ؛ فَمَنْ صَلَّى عَلَيَّ صَلَاةً صَلَّى الله عَلَيْهِ عَشْرًا  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Increase your prayers upon me on every Friday, for the prayers of my Ummah are presented to me on every Friday. Whoever among them has the most prayers upon me, will be closest to me in status. This has been narrated by Anas through various sources, all of which is a call to encourage praying upon the Prophet ﷺ on the night and day of Friday, and in some of its chains of narration there are weaknesses, while what we have mentioned is sufficient. And with Allah is the success."  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَكْثِرُوا عَلَيَّ مِنَ الصَّلَاةِ فِي كُلِّ يَوْمِ جُمُعَةٍ؛ فَإِنَّ صَلَاةَ أُمَّتِي تُعْرَضُ عَلَيَّ فِي كُلِّ يَوْمِ جُمُعَةٍ فَمَنْ كَانَ أَكْثَرَهُمْ عَلَيَّ صَلَاةً كَانَ أَقْرَبَهُمْ مِنِّي مَنْزِلَةً وَرُوِيَ ذَلِكَ مِنْ أَوْجُهٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ بِأَلْفَاظٍ مُخْتَلِفَةٍ تَرْجِعُ كُلُّهَا إِلَى التَّحْرِيضِ عَلَى الصَّلَاةِ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ لَيْلَةَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَيَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَفِي بَعْضِ إِسْنَادِهَا ضَعْفٌ وَفِيمَا ذَكَرْنَا كِفَايَةٌ وَبِاللهِ التَّوْفِيقُ  

[Machine] That the Messenger ﷺ said, "Whoever recites Surah Al-Kahf on the day of Jumu'ah, a light will shine for him from Friday to the next Friday," and it was narrated by Yazid ibn Makhled ibn Yazid from Hushaym, and he said in its meaning, "A light will shine for him from him to the ancient house," and it was narrated by Sa'id ibn Mansur from Hushaym, and he stood upon Abu Sa'id and said, "A light will shine for him from him to the ancient house," and in its meaning.  

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ قَرَأَ سُورَةَ الْكَهْفِ فِي يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ أَضَاءَ لَهُ مِنَ النُّورِ مَا بَيْنَ الْجُمُعَتَيْنِ وَرَوَاهُ يَزِيدُ بْنُ مَخْلَدِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ هُشَيْمٍ وَقَالَ فِي مَتْنِهِ أَضَاءَ لَهُ مِنَ النُّورِ مَا بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ الْبَيْتِ الْعَتِيقِ وَرَوَاهُ سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ هُشَيْمٍ فَوَقَفَهُ عَلَى أَبِي سَعِيدٍ وَقَالَ مَا بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ الْبَيْتِ الْعَتِيقِ وَبِمَعْنَاهُ  

If anyone memorizes ten verses from the beginning of surat al-Kahf, he will be protected from the trial of Dajjal (Antichrist). Abu Dawud said: In this way Hashim al-dastawa’I transmitted it from Qatadah, but he said : “If anyone memorizes the closing verses of surat al-Kahf.” Shu’bah narrated from Qatadah the words “from the end of al-Kahf.
