4. Friday Ṣalāh (Jumuʿah)
[Machine] "He went out to the outskirts and there was an Abyssinian slave on the water, and then the prayer was established. It was said, 'Abu Dharr, let the slave lead the prayer.' So Abu Dharr said to him, 'Come forward; indeed, my beloved Prophet ﷺ commanded me to listen and obey, even if it was a skinny, crippled slave.'"
[Machine] I celebrated Eid with Umar ibn al-Khattab, then I celebrated Eid with Uthman ibn Affan, then I celebrated Eid with Ali ibn Abi Talib, and Uthman is besieged.
[Machine] O Commander of the Faithful, I feel uncomfortable praying with these people while you are restricted and you are the Imam. How do you see praying with them? Uthman replied: Prayer is the best of what people do. So, if they do good, do good with them, and if they do evil, avoid their evil. And the other narrations regarding this meaning have already passed in the matter of leadership.
[Machine] Uqbah ibn Amir, may Allah be pleased with him, said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , saying, "Certainly, there will be men who will recite the Qur'an but it will not pass beyond their throats. They will come out of the religion just as an arrow passes through its game." Ibn Abi Hudhaifah heard it and said, "By Allah, if you are truthful and indeed you are a liar, then you are one of them." Abdullah, meaning Ibn Al-Mubarak, delivered this hadith stating that they would attribute this saying to them (meaning to the reciters of the Qur'an who do not act upon it).
