عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ بِمِثْلِ ذَلِكَ

I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ uttering these words (as stated above).

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مِثْلَهُ سَوَاءً

I heard Abu Huraira narrate this: I heard it from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying a hadith like one narrated by al-Rabi'.

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ بِمِثْلِ حَدِيثِ الرَّبِيعِ

I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying a hadith like that of Yunus.

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مِثْلَ حَدِيثِ يُونُسَ

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Indeed, in your wealth there is a right besides the obligatory charity (zakat)."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِنَّ فِي أَمْوَالِكُمْ حَقًّا سِوَى الزَّكَاةِ»

“I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: ‘Prophecy is gone, but good dreams remain.’” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3896)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «ذَهَبَتِ النُّبُوَّةُ وَبَقِيَتِ الْمُبَشِّرَاتُ»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "A good deed is rewarded ten times its like."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «الْحَسَنَةُ بِعَشْرِ أَمْثَالِهَا»

[AI] He was asked about a child born out of wedlock who dies. He said, "If he is the son of an Arab woman, his mother inherits one-third, and the remainder of his wealth is placed in the public treasury. If he is the son of a freedwoman, his mother inherits one-third, and those who freed her inherit the rest." Marwan said, "And I heard Malik say that."

سُئِلَ عَنْ وَلَدِ زِنَا يَمُوتُ قَالَ «إِنْ كَانَ ابْنَ عَرَبِيَّةٍ وَرِثَتْ أُمُّهُ الثُّلُثَ وَجُعِلَ بَقِيَّةُ مَالِهِ فِي بَيْتِ الْمَالِ وَإِنْ كَانَ ابْنَ مَوْلَاةٍ وَرِثَتْ أُمُّهُ الثُّلُثَ وَوَرِثَ مَوَالِيهَا الَّذِينَ أَعْتَقُوهَا مَا بَقِيَ» قَالَ مَرْوَانُ وَسَمِعْتُ مَالِكًا «يَقُولُ ذَلِكَ»

دَخَلْتُ مَسْجِدَ دِمَشْقَ فَرَأَيْتُ أُنَاسًا مُجْتَمِعِينَ وَشَيْخًا يُحَدِّثُهُمْ قُلْتُ مَنْ هَذَا؟ قَالُوا سَهْلُ ابْنُ الْحَنْظَلِيَّةِ فَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَنْ أَكَلَ لَحْمًا فَلْيَتَوَضَّأْ

"I heard the Messenger of Allah say: 'Whoever touches his sexual organ then let him perform ablution." (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 481)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَنْ مَسَّ فَرْجَهُ فَلْيَتَوَضَّأْ

[AI] About Salman, like that.

عَنْ سَلْمَانَ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ

[AI] "From Umm Salamah, something similar to that."

عَنِ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ

I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say. . . He then mentioned the tradition to the same effect. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4492)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Breaking the bone of a believer after their death is the same as breaking it while they are alive."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ إِنَّ كَسْرَ عَظْمِ الْمُؤْمِنِ مَيْتًا مِثْلُ كَسْرِ عَظْمِهِ حَيًّا

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ mention something similar.

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying something similar to that.

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ

[AI] We were with Abu Hurairah when Hasan ibn Ali ibn Abi Talib came to us and greeted us with peace. We returned the greeting, but Abu Hurairah did not notice him. So we said to him, "O Abu Hurairah, Hasan ibn Ali greeted us with peace." He followed him and said, "And peace be upon you, my master." Then he said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'He is a master.'"

كُنَّا مَعَ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ فَجَاءَ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ عَلَيْنَا فَسَلَّمَ فَرَدَدْنَا عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامَ وَلَمْ يَعْلَمْ بِهِ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ فَقُلْنَا لَهُ يَا أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ هَذَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَدْ سَلَّمَ عَلَيْنَا فَلَحِقَهُ وَقَالَ وَعَلَيْكَ السَّلَامُ يَا سَيِّدِي ثُمَّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِنَّهُ سَيِّدٌ»

[AI] "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'Talhah has become obligated.'"

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «أَوْجَبَ طَلْحَةُ»

I will not go away unless you get yourself cupped, for I heard Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: It is a remedy. (Using translation from Muslim 2205a)
