I heard Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "If Allah wants to do good to a person, He makes him comprehend the religion. I am just a distributor, but the grant is from Allah. (And remember) that this nation (true Muslims) will keep on following Allah's teachings strictly and they will not be harmed by any one going on a different path till Allah's order (Day of Judgment) is established." سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ يُرِدِ اللَّهُ بِهِ خَيْرًا يُفَقِّهْهُ فِي الدِّينِ»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Indeed, in your wealth there is a right besides the obligatory charity (zakat)."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِنَّ فِي أَمْوَالِكُمْ حَقًّا سِوَى الزَّكَاةِ»

I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: One who wrongfully takes an extra tax (sahib maks) will not enter Paradise. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 2937)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَا يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ صَاحِبُ مَكْسٍ» قَالَ أَبُو مُحَمَّد «يَعْنِي عَشَّارًا»

"I came to the Messenger of Allah" and he mentioned something similar. (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4176)

أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ

“Labbaika bi-‘Umratin wa hajjatin [Here I am (O Allah), for ‘Umrah and Hajj].” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2969)

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَبَّيْكَ بِعُمْرَةٍ وَحَجٍّ»

"There is no fara' and no' Atirah." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4222)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «لَا فَرَعَ وَلَا عَتِيرَةَ»

[AI] Indeed, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ cursed the one who imitates or mimics animals.

«إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ لَعَنَ مَنْ مَثَّلَ بِالْحَيَوَانِ»

Why do you put on the lower garment in this way? He replied: It is how I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ do it. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4096)

«رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَأْكُلُهُ»

[AI] "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbidding blowing into drinks?" He said, "Yes."

سَمِعْتَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَنْهَى عَنِ النَّفْخِ فِي الشَّرَابِ؟ قَالَ «نَعَمْ»

“I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: ‘Prophecy is gone, but good dreams remain.’” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3896)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «ذَهَبَتِ النُّبُوَّةُ وَبَقِيَتِ الْمُبَشِّرَاتُ»

the Messenger of Allah said: “There is no marriage except with a guardian.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1881)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «لَا نِكَاحَ إِلَّا بِوَلِيٍّ»

that the Messenger of Allah said: “Three days for a previously-married woman and seven days for a virgin.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1916)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «لِلْبِكْرِ سَبْعٌ وَلِلثَّيِّبِ ثَلَاثٌ»

"I heard the Messenger of Allah say: 'The hand is not to be cut off for (stealing) produce or the spadix of palm trees."' (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4960)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَا قَطْعَ فِي ثَمَرٍ وَلَا كَثَرٍ»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Only a wrongdoer hoards." (It was said) twice.

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَا يَحْتَكِرُ إِلَّا خَاطِئٌ» مَرَّتَيْنِ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Woe to him who tells things, speaking falsely, to make people laugh thereby. Woe to him! Woe to him!. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4990)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «وَيْلٌ لِلَّذِي يُحَدِّثُ فَيَكْذِبُ لِيُضْحِكَ بِهِ الْقَوْمَ وَيْلٌ لَهُ وَيْلٌ لَهُ»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "A good deed is rewarded ten times its like."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «الْحَسَنَةُ بِعَشْرِ أَمْثَالِهَا»

[AI] "From Abdullah, similar to him."

عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ مِثْلَهُ

I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say. . . He then mentioned the tradition to the same effect. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4492)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ʿThe siwak is purifying for the mouth and pleasing to the Lord.” (Using translation from Aḥmad 62)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ إِنَّ السِّوَاكَلَمَطْهَرَةٌ لِلْفَمِ مَرْضَاةٌ لِلرَّبِّ

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Breaking the bone of a believer after their death is the same as breaking it while they are alive."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ إِنَّ كَسْرَ عَظْمِ الْمُؤْمِنِ مَيْتًا مِثْلُ كَسْرِ عَظْمِهِ حَيًّا

أَنَّهَا سَمِعَتْ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ وَهُوَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ مَا شَيْءٌ أَغْيَرَ مِنَ اللهِ ﷻ

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , saying while he was on the pulpit: "There is nothing more constant than Allah."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ وَهُوَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ إِنَّهُ لَا شَيْءَ أَغْيَرُ مِنَ اللهِ ﷻ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said in my house, so he mentioned its meaning.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي بَيْتِي فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

(From the daughter of Khalid bin Sa id bin Al-ʿAsi) who said that she had heard the Prophet ﷺ seeking refuge with Allah from the punishment in the grave. (Using translation from Bukhārī 1376)

أَنَّهَا سَمِعَتْ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَتَعَوَّذُ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ

[AI] The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said, "Turn away the beggar, even if only with the leg of a burnt or charred sheep."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ رُدُّوا السَّائِلَ وَلَوْ بِظِلْفِ شَاةٍ مُحْرَقٍ أَوْ مُحْتَرِقٍ

"No one hoards but a sinner."' (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2154)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ لَا يَحْتَكِرُ إِلَّا خَاطِئٌ

[AI] His mother came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "So he mentioned its meaning with us."

أَنَّ أُمَّهُ أَتَتْ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَتْ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

"Respond to the one who asks even with a sheep's foot." According to the narration of Harun: "With a sheep's burned foot." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 2565)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ رُدُّوا السَّائِلَ وَلَوْ بِظِلْفٍ مُحْرَقٍ

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "The punishment of my ummah (nation) is in this world."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «عَذَابُ أُمَّتِي فِي دُنْيَاهَا»

[AI] "From Abdullah like him."

عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ مِثْلَهُ

I heard Allah's Apostle ﷺ as saying. Every servant would be raised (in the same very state) in which he dies. (Using translation from Muslim 2878a)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «يُبْعَثُ كُلُّ عَبْدٍ عَلَى مَا مَاتَ»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "The morning prayer at its prescribed time expiates for sins committed between it and the previous evening prayer."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «وَصَبُ الْمُؤْمِنِ كَفَّارَةٌ لِخَطَايَاهُ»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "The person who hoards will not enter Paradise." Yazid bin Harun said, "He means the one who engages in usury."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَا يَدْخُلُ صَاحِبُ مَكْسٍ الْجَنَّةَ» قَالَ يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ «يَعْنِي الْعَشَّارَ»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "The thankful eater is like the patient fasting person."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «الطَّاعِمُ الشَّاكِرُ مِثْلُ الصَّائِمِ الصَّابِرِ»

“I asked Jabir bin ‘Abdullah about hyenas: ‘Are they game (that can be hunted)?’ He said: ‘Yes.’ I said: ‘Can I eat them?’ He said: ‘Yes.’ I said: ‘Is this something that you heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ?’ He said: ‘Yes.’” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3236)

قُلْتُ أَيُؤْكَلُ الضَّبُعُ؟ قَالَ «نَعَمْ» قُلْتُ أَصَيْدٌ هِيَ؟ قَالَ أَسَمِعْتَهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ؟ قَالَ «نَعَمْ»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbidding the sale of water, on the condition of being a Muslim.

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ «يَنْهَى عَنْ بَيْعِ الْمَاءِ» على شرط مسلم

“May Allah have mercy on the one who keeps watch over the troops.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2769)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «رَحِمَ اللَّهُ حَارِسَ الْحَرَسِ»

the Messenger of Allah said: “There is nothing like marriage, for two who love one another.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1847)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «لَمْ يُرَ لِلْمُتَحَابِّينِ مِثْلُ التَّزَوُّجِ»
