“A Jewish man said in the marketplace of Al-Madinah: ‘By the One Who chose Musa above all of mankind.’ An Ansari man raised his hand and slapped him. He said: ‘How dare you say this when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ is among us?’ Mention of that was made to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he said: ‘Allah says: “And the trumpet will be blown, and all who are in the heavens and all who are on the earth will swoon away, except him whom Allah wills. Then it will be blown a second time, and behold they will be standing, looking on (waiting).” [39:68] I will be the first one to raise his head, and I will see Musa holding on to one of the pillars of the Throne, and I do not know whether he will have raised his head before me, or he will be one of those whom Allah exempts. And whoever says that I am better than Yunus bin Matta, he is lying.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 4274)

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ recited these verses one day from the pulpit: "And they have not appraised Allah with true appraisal. And the earth entirely will be [within] His grip on the Day of Resurrection, and the heavens will be folded in His right hand." And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "This is how He will move it with His finger, glorifying the Lord, Most Exalted, within Himself, saying, 'I am the All-Powerful, I am the Supreme, I am the King, I am the Mighty, I am the Generous.'" So the pulpit trembled with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ until we thought it would collapse.

[Machine] We spoke with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ one night until we became tired of speaking. Then we returned to our homes. When we woke up in the morning, we talked about it and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The prophets, their nations, and their followers were presented to me last night. The Prophet would pass by with three of his nation, and another Prophet would pass by with a group from his nation, and another Prophet would pass by alone from his nation. Finally, Musa ibn Imran passed by holding onto a pillar of the House of Allah, and when I saw him and his nation, I was amazed." So I said, "O Lord, who are these?" He said, "Your brother Musa ibn Imran and his followers from the nation of Banu Israel." I said, "O Lord, where is my nation?" He said, "Look to your right." So I looked and saw a group of people whose faces were blackened, and I said, "O Lord, who are these?" He said, "These are your nation, are you pleased with them?" I said, "O Lord, I am pleased." He said, "Look to your left." So I looked and saw another group of people whose faces were blackened, and I said, "O Lord, who are these?" He said, "These are also your nation, are you pleased with them?" I said, "O Lord, I am pleased." It was then said, "Among these (two groups) are seventy thousand people who will enter Paradise without being held accountable." 'Ukkasha ibn Mihsan, a member of the Banu Asad ibn Khuzayma, then stood up and said, "O Messenger of Allah, ask Allah to make me among them." He replied, "You are one of them." Then another man stood up and said, "O Messenger of Allah, ask Allah to make me among them." He replied, "Ukkasha ibn Mihsan has beaten you to it."

While Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood up to deliver a sermon, he said: 0 people, Allah would make you assemble barefooted, naked and uncircumcised (and then recited the words of the Qur'an):" As We created you for the first time, We shall repeat it. (It is) a promise (binding) upon us. Lo! We are to perform it, and the first person who would be clothed on the Day of Resurrection would be (Hadrat) Ibrahim (peace be upon him)" and, behold! some persons of my Ummah would be brought and taken to the left and I would say: My Lord, they are my companions, and it would be said: You do not know what they did after you, and I would say just as the pious servant (Hadrat 'Isa) said:, I was a witness regarding them as I remained among them and Thou art a witness over everything, so if Thou chastisest them, they are Thy servants and if Thou for- givest them, Thou art Mighty, Wise" (v. 117-118). And it would be said to him: They constantly turned to their heels since you left them. This hadith has been transmitted on the authority of Waki' and Mu'adh (and the words are):" What new things they fabricated." (Using translation from Muslim 2860b)

" O Messenger of Allah! When will the Hour be established?" So the Propher ﷺ stood to perform Salat and when he was finished his Salat he said: "Where is the one who asked when the hour will be established?" The man said: "It was I, O Mesenger of Allah!" So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "A man shall be with whom ever he loves, and you shall be with whomever you love." [He ﷺ said:] "As for the disbeliever, then his face shall be blackened, he will be grown in his body to sixty forearm-lengths in the image of Adam, he will given a crown, and his companions will see him and say: 'We seek refuge in Allah from the evil of this one. O Allah! Do not bring this one to us.'" He said: "So when he reaches them, they say: 'O Allah! Take him away' so they will be told: 'May Allah cast you away! Indeed for each man among you is the likes of this.'" (Using translation from Tirmidhī 3136)

[Machine] The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said, "A man from the inhabitants of Hellfire will be brought forward and he will be asked, 'O son of Adam, how did you find your place?' He will reply, 'O Lord, it is the worst place.' The questioner will then ask, 'Did you ever see anything good?' He will reply, 'No, my Lord, I did not see anything good.' The questioner will then say, 'Did you ever seek any reprieve by looking to the earth?' He will reply, 'Yes, my Lord, but I found no reprieve.' The questioner will then say, 'Have you anyone with you?' The man will say, 'No, my Lord, I have no one with me.' The questioner will then say, 'Then what made you enter into this state?' The man will reply, 'I used to say something to people which I did not do myself, and I used to order them to do good deeds, while I myself never did them.' The questioner will then say, 'Now you have nothing with you, and you have tried to deceive Me by your false statements and adorned speech, and you have not yet seen any of the severe hardships you will face.' Then the man will be dragged on his face into Hellfire."

What is this hadith that you narrate that the Last Hour would come at such and such time? Thereupon he said: Hallowed be Allah, there is no god but Allah (or the words to the same effect). I have decided that I would not narrate anything to anyone now. I had only said that you would see after some time an important event that the (sacred) House (Ka'ba) would be burnt and it would happen and definitely happen. He then reported that Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: The Dajjal would appear in my Ummah and he would stay (in the world) for forty - I cannot say whether he meant forty days, forty months or forty years. And Allah would then send Jesus son of Mary who would resemble 'Urwa b Mas'ud. He (Jesus Christ) would chase him and kill him. Then people would live for seven years that there would be no rancour between two persons. Then Allah would send cold wind from the side of Syria that none would survive upon the earth having a speck of good in him or faith in him but he would die, so much so that even if some amongst you were to enter the innermost part of the mountain, this wind would reach that place also and that would cause his death. I heard Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: Only the wicked people would survive and they would be as careless as birds with the characteristics of beasts. They would never appreciate the good nor condemn evil. Then Satan would come to them in human form and would say: Don't you respond? And they would say: What do you order us? And he would command them to worship the idols but, in spite of this, they would have abundance of sustenance and lead comfortable lives. Then the trumpet would be blown and no one would hear that but he would bend his neck to one side and raise it from the other side and the first one to hear that trumpet would be the person who would be busy in setting right the tank meant for providing water to the camels. He would swoon and the other people would also swoon, then Allah would send or He would cause to send rain which would be like dew and there would grow out of it the bodies of the people. Then the second trumpet would be blown and they would stand up and begin to look (around). Then it would be said: O people, go to your Lord, and make them stand there. And they would be questioned. Then it would be said: Bring out a group (out of them) for the Hell-Fire. And then it would be asked: How much? It would be said: Nine hundred and ninty-nine out of one thousand for the Hell-Fire and that would be the day which would make the children old because of its terror and that would be the day about which it has been said: "On the day when the shank would be uncovered" (lxviii. 42). [Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying in a private conversation on the Day of Judgment, "Indeed, Allah will bring the believer close to Him on the Day of Judgment until He places His shield over him, covering him from the people. Then He will say, 'Do you recognize this sin and that sin?' The believer will say, 'Yes, my Lord.' Then He will say, 'Do you recognize this sin and that sin?' The believer will say, 'Yes, my Lord.' Until when Allah has made him acknowledge his sins and he thinks within himself that he has deserved punishment, Allah will say, 'I concealed them for you from the people, and today I forgive them for you.' [Machine] On the authority of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , he said, "On the Day of Resurrection, four types of people will argue for themselves. A deaf person will say, 'O Lord, Islam came but I did not hear anything.' An ignorant person will say, 'O Lord, Islam came but the children ridiculed me.' An old person will say, 'O Lord, Islam came but I did not understand.' And a person who died in the period between prophets will say, 'O Lord, no messenger came to me to receive his covenant and obey him.' So, Allah will send a messenger to them and they will be ordered to enter the Fire. By the One in Whose hand is my soul, if they enter it, it will be cool and safe for them.'"

We were in the company of Messenger of Allah ﷺ when he smiled, and said: Do you know why I laughed? We said: Allah and His Messenger, know best. Thereupon he said: It was because (there came to my mind the) talk which the servant would have with his Lord (on the Day of judgment). He would say: My Lord, have you not guaranteed me protection against injustice? He would say: Yes. Then the servant would say: I do not deem valid any witness against me but my own self, and He would say: Well, enough would be the witness of your self against you and that of the two angels who had been appointed to record your deeds. Then the seal would be set upon his mouth and it would be said to his hands and feet to speak and they would speak of his deeds. Then the mouth would be made free to talk, he would say (to the hands and feet): Be away, let there be curse of Allah upon you. It was for your safety that I contended. Do you know who is poor? They (the Companions of the Holy Prophet) said: A poor man amongst us is one who has neither dirham with him nor wealth. He (the Holy Prophet) said: The poor of my Umma would be he who would come on the Day of Resurrection with prayers and fasts and Zakat but (he would find himself bankrupt on that day as he would have exhausted his funds of virtues) since he hurled abuses upon others, brought calumny against others and unlawfully consumed the wealth of others and shed the blood of others and beat others, and his virtues would be credited to the account of one (who suffered at his hand). And if his good deeds fall short to clear the account, then his sins would be entered in (his account) and he would be thrown in the Hell-Fire. (Using translation from Muslim 2581)

He said: 'Indeed its information is that it will testify against every servant, male and female, It will say that he did such and such, on such and such a day.' He said: 'With this it shall be ordered.'" (Using translation from Tirmidhī 2429)
