I heard Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "If Allah wants to do good to a person, He makes him comprehend the religion. I am just a distributor, but the grant is from Allah. (And remember) that this nation (true Muslims) will keep on following Allah's teachings strictly and they will not be harmed by any one going on a different path till Allah's order (Day of Judgment) is established." سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ يُرِدِ اللَّهُ بِهِ خَيْرًا يُفَقِّهْهُ فِي الدِّينِ»

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ يُرِدِ اللَّهُ بِهِ خَيْرًا يُفَقِّهْهُ فِي الدِّينِ»

[AI] Did you hear from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ? He said, "And I am preparing for."

سَمِعْتَ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ؟» فَقَالَ وَأَتَحَلَّلُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, and so and so said?

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَقَالَ فُلَانٌ؟

وَقَالَ هَكَذَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ تَوَضَّأَ

I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say this: Ablution is obligatory (for one who takes anything) touched by fire. (Using translation from Muslim 351)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ يَقُولُ «الْوُضُوءُ مِمَّا مَسَّتِ النَّارُ» قِيلَ لِأَبِي مُحَمَّدٍ تَأْخُذُ بِهِ؟ قَالَ لَا

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Indeed, in your wealth there is a right besides the obligatory charity (zakat)."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِنَّ فِي أَمْوَالِكُمْ حَقًّا سِوَى الزَّكَاةِ»

I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: One who wrongfully takes an extra tax (sahib maks) will not enter Paradise. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 2937)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَا يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ صَاحِبُ مَكْسٍ» قَالَ أَبُو مُحَمَّد «يَعْنِي عَشَّارًا»

“Labbaika bi-‘Umratin wa hajjatin [Here I am (O Allah), for ‘Umrah and Hajj].” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2969)

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَبَّيْكَ بِعُمْرَةٍ وَحَجٍّ»

"There is no fara' and no' Atirah." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4222)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «لَا فَرَعَ وَلَا عَتِيرَةَ»

Why do you put on the lower garment in this way? He replied: It is how I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ do it. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4096)

«رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَأْكُلُهُ»

“I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: ‘Prophecy is gone, but good dreams remain.’” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3896)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «ذَهَبَتِ النُّبُوَّةُ وَبَقِيَتِ الْمُبَشِّرَاتُ»

"I heard the Messenger of Allah say: 'The hand is not to be cut off for (stealing) produce or the spadix of palm trees."' (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4960)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَا قَطْعَ فِي ثَمَرٍ وَلَا كَثَرٍ»

"I heard the Messenger of Allah say: 'The hand is not to be cut off for (stealing) produce or the spadix of palm trees."' (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4964)

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا قَطْعَ فِي ثَمَرٍ وَلَا كَثَرٍ»

“The hand is not to be cut off for (stealing) produce or the spadix of palm trees.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2593)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «لَا قَطْعَ فِي ثَمَرٍ وَلَا كَثَرٍ»

[AI] I heard the Prophet ﷺ saying, "There should be no cutting in the fruit nor excess." He said this while referring to the fat of the date palm, and excess refers to the fibers in it.

سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَا قَطْعَ فِي ثَمَرٍ وَلَا كَثَرٍ» قَالَ وَهُوَ شَحْمُ النَّخْلِ وَالْكَثَرُ الْجُمَّارُ

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Only a wrongdoer hoards." (It was said) twice.

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَا يَحْتَكِرُ إِلَّا خَاطِئٌ» مَرَّتَيْنِ

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "A good deed is rewarded ten times its like."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «الْحَسَنَةُ بِعَشْرِ أَمْثَالِهَا»

I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say. . . He then mentioned the tradition to the same effect. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4492)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] "O servant of Rahman, perform the ablution well, for I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'Woe to the heels from the Fire!'"

يَا عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ أَحْسِنِ الْوُضُوءَ فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ وَيْلٌ لِلْأَعْقَابِ مِنَ النَّارِ

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Breaking the bone of a believer after their death is the same as breaking it while they are alive."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ إِنَّ كَسْرَ عَظْمِ الْمُؤْمِنِ مَيْتًا مِثْلُ كَسْرِ عَظْمِهِ حَيًّا

"Perform Wudu' from that which has been heated with fire." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 178)

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ تَوَضَّئُوا مِمَّا مَسَّتِ النَّارُ

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ mention something similar.

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ

(From the daughter of Khalid bin Sa id bin Al-ʿAsi) who said that she had heard the Prophet ﷺ seeking refuge with Allah from the punishment in the grave. (Using translation from Bukhārī 1376)

أَنَّهَا سَمِعَتْ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَتَعَوَّذُ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ

[AI] I heard the Prophet ﷺ saying something similar to that.

[AI] The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said, "Turn away the beggar, even if only with the leg of a burnt or charred sheep."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ رُدُّوا السَّائِلَ وَلَوْ بِظِلْفِ شَاةٍ مُحْرَقٍ أَوْ مُحْتَرِقٍ

[AI] "The Messenger of Allah, may ﷺ , said: The neighbor has more right to his stone or trough."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ الْجَارُ أَحَقُّ بِصَقَبِهِ أَوْ سَقَبِهِ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed for us and mentioned us.

صَلَّى بِنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَهُ

"No one hoards but a sinner."' (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2154)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا يَحْتَكِرُ إِلَّا خَاطِئٌ

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ لَا يَحْتَكِرُ إِلَّا خَاطِئٌ

"Respond to the one who asks even with a sheep's foot." According to the narration of Harun: "With a sheep's burned foot." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 2565)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ رُدُّوا السَّائِلَ وَلَوْ بِظِلْفٍ مُحْرَقٍ

[AI] "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'Indeed, the punishment of this Ummah (nation) has been placed in its worldly life.'"

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِنَّ عَذَابَ هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةِ جُعِلَ فِي دُنْيَاهَا»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "The punishment of my ummah (nation) is in this world."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «عَذَابُ أُمَّتِي فِي دُنْيَاهَا»

"We prayed with Abdullah bin Mas'ud in his house. He stood between us and we placed our hands on our knees, but he took them off and made us interlace our fingers, and said: "I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ do that.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1030)

رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَفْعَلُهُ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Witr (the nightly odd numbered prayer) is a right (that it should be performed)." Then the narrated something similar.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «الْوِتْرُ حَقٌّ» فَذَكَرَهُ بِنَحْوِهِ

I heard Allah's Apostle ﷺ as saying. Every servant would be raised (in the same very state) in which he dies. (Using translation from Muslim 2878a)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «يُبْعَثُ كُلُّ عَبْدٍ عَلَى مَا مَاتَ»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "The morning prayer at its prescribed time expiates for sins committed between it and the previous evening prayer."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «وَصَبُ الْمُؤْمِنِ كَفَّارَةٌ لِخَطَايَاهُ»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "The person who hoards will not enter Paradise." Yazid bin Harun said, "He means the one who engages in usury."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَا يَدْخُلُ صَاحِبُ مَكْسٍ الْجَنَّةَ» قَالَ يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ «يَعْنِي الْعَشَّارَ»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "The thankful eater is like the patient fasting person."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «الطَّاعِمُ الشَّاكِرُ مِثْلُ الصَّائِمِ الصَّابِرِ»

“I asked Jabir bin ‘Abdullah about hyenas: ‘Are they game (that can be hunted)?’ He said: ‘Yes.’ I said: ‘Can I eat them?’ He said: ‘Yes.’ I said: ‘Is this something that you heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ?’ He said: ‘Yes.’” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3236)

قُلْتُ أَيُؤْكَلُ الضَّبُعُ؟ قَالَ «نَعَمْ» قُلْتُ أَصَيْدٌ هِيَ؟ قَالَ أَسَمِعْتَهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ؟ قَالَ «نَعَمْ»

“May Allah have mercy on the one who keeps watch over the troops.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2769)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «رَحِمَ اللَّهُ حَارِسَ الْحَرَسِ»

"Aishah told me that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'There is no divorce and no manumission at the time of coercion.' " (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2046)

أَنَّهَا سَمِعَتْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَا طَلَاقَ وَلَا عَتَاقَ فِي إِغْلَاقٍ»

“Whoever dies knowing that there is no god but Allah will enter Paradise.” (Using translation from Aḥmad 464)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ مَاتَ وَهُوَ يَعْلَمُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ»

The Prophet ﷺ said: Anyone who cuts off relationship from his nearest relatives will not enter Paradise. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1696)

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا يَدْخُلَ الْجَنَّةَ قَاطَعٌ»

" That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: He who shows no mercy to the people, Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, does not show mercy to him." (Using translation from Muslim 2319a)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ لَا يَرْحَمِ النَّاسَ لَا يَرْحَمْهُ اللَّهُ»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Remorse is repentance." He (the person being addressed) said, "Yes."

سَمِعْتَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «النَّدَمُ تَوْبَةٌ»؟ قَالَ نَعَمْ

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ naming the city Tabah.

«سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ سَمَّى الْمَدِينَةَ طَابَةَ»

[AI] "And I heard Ibn Umar saying, 'Indeed, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ gave them permission.'"

وَسَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ يَقُولُ «إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ رَخَّصَ لَهُنَّ»

“I asked Jabir bin ‘Abdullah about hyenas: ‘Are they game (that can be hunted)?’ He said: ‘Yes.’ I said: ‘Can I eat them?’ He said: ‘Yes.’ I said: ‘Is this something that you heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ?’ He said: ‘Yes.’” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3236)
