[Machine] I heard the Prophet ﷺ saying, "There should be no cutting in the fruit nor excess." He said this while referring to the fat of the date palm, and excess refers to the fibers in it.
سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَا قَطْعَ فِي ثَمَرٍ وَلَا كَثَرٍ» قَالَ وَهُوَ شَحْمُ النَّخْلِ وَالْكَثَرُ الْجُمَّارُ
"I heard the Messenger of Allah say: 'The hand is not to be cut off for (stealing) produce or the spadix of palm trees."'
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ لاَ قَطْعَ فِي ثَمَرٍ وَلاَ كَثَرٍ
"I heard the Messenger of Allah say: 'The hand is not to be cut off for (stealing) produce or the spadix of palm trees."'
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ لاَ قَطْعَ فِي ثَمَرٍ وَلاَ كَثَرٍ

That he heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: "There is no cutting of the hand for fruits or palm marrow."

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "No fruit should be cut in half nor should it be left in abundance." Yahya said: "The 'thamar' (fruit) refers to what is at the top of the palm tree, while 'al-kathar' (abundance) refers to the fruit that is still young and green."
