"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Whoever touches his private part, let him perform Wudu'.'"

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَنْ مَسَّ فَرْجَهُ فَلْيَتَوَضَّأْ

Abdullah ibn AbuBakr reported that he heard Urwah say: I entered upon Marwan ibn al-Hakam. We mentioned things that render the ablution void. Marwan said: Does it become void by touching the penis? Urwah replied: This I do not know. Marwan said: Busrah daughter of Safwan reported to me that she heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: He who touches his penis should perform ablution.

أَنَّهَا سَمِعَتْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَنْ مَسَّ ذَكَرَهُ فَلْيَتَوَضَّأْ

"I heard the Messenger of Allah say: 'Whoever touches his sexual organ then let him perform ablution."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَنْ مَسَّ فَرْجَهُ فَلْيَتَوَضَّأْ

"I heard the Messenger of Allah say: 'Whoever touches his sexual organ, let him perform ablution.'"

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَنْ مَسَّ فَرْجَهُ فَلْيَتَوَضَّأْ

[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Whoever abandons a Dinar is sinning."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَنْ تَرَكَ دِينَارًافَهُوَ كَيَّةٌ

[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Some of the Muslims give shelter to others."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ يُجِيرُ عَلَى الْمُسْلِمِينَ بَعْضُهُمْ

[Machine] I entered the mosque of Damascus and saw people gathered and a sheikh speaking to them. I asked, "Who is this?" They said, "This is Sahel ibn Al-Hanzaliyyah." So I listened to him saying, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'Whoever eats meat, let him perform ablution.'"

دَخَلْتُ مَسْجِدَ دِمَشْقَ فَرَأَيْتُ نَاسًا مُجْتَمِعِينَ وَشَيْخٌ يُحَدِّثُهُمْ قُلْتُ مَنْ هَذَا؟ قَالُوا هَذَا سَهْلُ ابْنُ الْحَنْظَلِيَّةِ فَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَنْ أَكَلَ لَحْمًا فَلْيَتَوَضَّأْ

"I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: 'Perform Wudu' from that which has been touched by fire.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 171)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ تَوَضَّئُوا مِمَّا مَسَّتِ النَّارُ

"I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: 'Perform Wudu' from that which has been touched by fire.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 171)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ تَوَضَّئُوا مِمَّا مَسَّتِ النَّارُ

I heard Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: The fever is due to the intense heat of the Hell, so cool it with water. (Using translation from Muslim 2212a)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ إِنَّ الْحُمَّى فَوْرٌ من فَوْرِ جَهَنَّمَ فَابْرُدُوهَا بِالْمَاءِ

Fever is from the vehement raging of the Hell-fire, so cool it with water. (Using translation from Muslim 2210a)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ الْحُمَّى مِنْ فَوْرِ جَهَنَّمَ فَأَبْرِدُوهَا بِالْمَاءِ

I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say. . . He then mentioned the tradition to the same effect. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4492)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ فَذَكَرَهُ

[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: "The Khawarij are the dogs of the Hellfire."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ الْخَوَارِجُ هُمْ كِلَابُ النَّارِ

[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "The giving hand is better than the receiving hand."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ الْيَدُ الْمُعْطِيَةُ خَيْرٌ مِنَ الْيَدِ السُّفْلَى

[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying something similar to that.

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ

أَنَّهَا سَمِعَتْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «يَتَوَضَّأُ الرَّجُلُ مِنْ مَسِّ الذَّكَرِ»

I heard Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "If Allah wants to do good to a person, He makes him comprehend the religion. I am just a distributor, but the grant is from Allah. (And remember) that this nation (true Muslims) will keep on following Allah's teachings strictly and they will not be harmed by any one going on a different path till Allah's order (Day of Judgment) is established." (Using translation from Bukhārī 71)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ يُرِدِ اللَّهُ بِهِ خَيْرًا يُفَقِّهْهُ فِي الدِّينِ»

I heard Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "If Allah wants to do good to a person, He makes him comprehend the religion. I am just a distributor, but the grant is from Allah. [Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "The morning prayer at its prescribed time expiates for sins committed between it and the previous evening prayer."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «وَصَبُ الْمُؤْمِنِ كَفَّارَةٌ لِخَطَايَاهُ»

[Machine] We were with Abu Hurairah when Hasan ibn Ali ibn Abi Talib came to us and greeted us with peace. We returned the greeting, but Abu Hurairah did not notice him. So we said to him, "O Abu Hurairah, Hasan ibn Ali greeted us with peace." He followed him and said, "And peace be upon you, my master." Then he said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'He is a master.'"

كُنَّا مَعَ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ فَجَاءَ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ عَلَيْنَا فَسَلَّمَ فَرَدَدْنَا عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامَ وَلَمْ يَعْلَمْ بِهِ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ فَقُلْنَا لَهُ يَا أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ هَذَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَدْ سَلَّمَ عَلَيْنَا فَلَحِقَهُ وَقَالَ وَعَلَيْكَ السَّلَامُ يَا سَيِّدِي ثُمَّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِنَّهُ سَيِّدٌ»

أَنَّهَا سَمِعَتْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِذَا مَسَّ أَحَدُكُمْ ذَكَرَهُ فَلْيَتَوَضَّأْ»

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Whoever touches his private part, let him perform Wudu'.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 444)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «مَنْ مَسَّ فَرْجَهُ فَلْيُعِدِ الْوُضُوءَ»

“I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: ‘The (funeral) prayer should be offered for a child.’” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1507)

أَنَّهُ قَالَ «مَنْ سَرَّهُ أَنْ يَنْظُرَ إِلَى رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ فَلْيَنْظُرْ إِلَى الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُهُ»

[Machine] He heard Marwan say that Busrah bint Safwan informed me and said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'Whoever touches his private parts, let him perform ablution.'"

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ مَرْوَانَ يَقُولُ أَخْبَرَتْنِي بُسْرَةُ بِنْتُ صَفْوَانَ قَالَتْ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ مَسَّ فَرْجَهُ فَلْيَتَوَضَّأْ»

[Machine] She heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "A man should perform ablution from touching his private parts."

أَنَّهَا سَمِعَتْ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «يَتَوَضَّأُ الرَّجُلُ مِنْ مَسِّ الذَّكَرِ»

أَنَّهَا سَمِعَتْ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ مَسَّ ذَكَرَهُ فَلْيَتَوَضَّأْ»

"I heard the Messenger of Allah say: 'Whoever touches his sexual organ then let him perform ablution." (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 481)

إِنَّهَا سَمِعَتْ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ مَسَّ فَرْجَهُ فَلْيَتَوَضَّأْ»

[Machine] The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said, "Whoever touches his private parts should perform ablution."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ مَسَّ ذَكَرَهُ فَلْيَتَوَضَّأْ»

[Machine] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Whoever touches his private parts, let him perform ablution.'"

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ مَسَّ ذَكَرَهُ فَلْيَتَوَضَّأْ»

"I heard the Messenger of Allah say: 'Whoever touches his sexual organ then let him perform ablution." (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 481)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ مَسَّ فَرْجَهُ فَلَا يُصَلِّي حَتَّى يَتَوَضَّأَ»

[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "If one of you feels something he should perform ablution."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِذَا مَسَّ أَحَدُكُمْ ذَكَرَهُ فَلْيَتَوَضَّأْ»

[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying: "Whoever touches his private parts or his genitals or his buttocks, then he should perform ablution for prayer."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ مَسَّ ذَكَرَهُ أَوْ أُنْثَيَيْهِ أَوْ رُفْغَيْهِ فَلْيَتَوَضَّأْ وُضُوءَهُ لِلصَّلَاةِ»

[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "If one of you touches his private parts, then let him perform ablution."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِذَا مَسَّ أَحَدُكُمْ ذَكَرَهُ فَلْيَتَوَضَّأْ»

[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "The blackness is only in the stomach and private parts."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِنَّمَا الْأَسْوَدُ بِبَطْنِهِ وَفَرْجَهِ»

[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Perform ablution from what fire has touched, and wash off any impurities caused by it."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «تَوَضَّئُوا مِمَّا مَسَّتِ النَّارَ وَغَلَتْ بِهِ الْمَرَاجِلُ»

"I heard the Messenger of Allah say: 'Whoever touches his sexual organ, let him perform ablution.'" (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 482)

أَنَّهَا سَمِعَتْ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ مَسَّ فَرْجَهُ فَلْيَتَوَضَّأْ»

"I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: 'Perform Wudu' from that which has been touched by fire.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 171)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «تَوَضَّئُوا مِمَّا مَسَّتِ النَّارُ»

[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Umrah is a reward."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «الْعُمْرَى جَائِزَةٌ»

[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Whoever dies without having allegiance (to a ruler) around his neck, dies the death of Jahiliyyah."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ مَاتَ وَلَيْسَ فِي عُنُقِهِ بَيْعَةٌ مَاتَ مَيْتَةً جَاهِلِيَّةً»

[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Whoever is deceived by falsehood and follows it, he will be led into the Fire."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ وَطِئَهُ خُيَلَاءُ وَطِئَهُ فِي النَّارِ»

"I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: 'Perform Wudu' from that which has been touched by fire.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 171)

“I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: ‘The (funeral) prayer should be offered for a child.’” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1507)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُهُ

[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Taking care of the poor is like safeguarding oneself from a bad death."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مُنَاوَلَةُ الْمِسْكِينِ تَقِي مِيتَةَ السُّوءِ»
