The Prophet ﷺ used to get cupped and would never withhold the wages of any person .

سَمِعْتُ أَنَسًا ؓ يَقُولُ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَحْتَجِمُ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ يَظْلِمُ أَحَدًا أَجْرَهُ

I heard the Prophet ﷺ reciting the following Verse on the pulpit: "They will call: O Malik...' and Sufyan said that ʿAbdullah recited it: 'They will call: O Mali...' (43.77)

سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقْرَأُ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ {وَنَادَوْا يَا مَالِكُ} قَالَ سُفْيَانُ فِي قِرَاءَةِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ وَنَادَوْا يَا مَالِ

That he heard the Prophet ﷺ on the pulpit reciting:-- "They will cry: "O Malik!' (43.77) (Malik is the gate-keeper (angel) of the (Hell) Fire.)

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقْرَأُ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ {وَنَادَوْا يَا مَالِكُ }

0 Malik."

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقْرَأُ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ { وَنَادَوْا يَا مَالِكُ}

Anas b. Malik reported that Messenger of Allah ﷺ got himself cupped and never withheld the wages of anyone.

سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يَقُولُ احْتَجَمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَكَانَ لاَ يَظْلِمُ أَحَدًا أَجْرَهُ

This hadith has been reported on the authority of Anas through another chain of transmitters.

سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يَقُولُ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ

I heard the Prophet ﷺ read on the pulpit the verse: "They will cry: O Malik." Abu Dawud said: That is, without shortening the name (Malik).

سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ يَقْرَأُ { وَنَادَوْا يَا مَالِكُ }

"Ibn 'Umar did not offer more than two rak'ahs when traveling, and he did not offer any prayer before or after that. It was said to him: 'What is this?' He said: 'This is what I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ doing.'"

هَكَذَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَصْنَعُ

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to accept the invitation of a slave."

سَمِعَ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يَقُولُ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يُجِيبُ دَعْوَةَ الْمَمْلُوكِ

هَكَذَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَتَوَضَّأُ

وَقَالَ هَكَذَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ تَوَضَّأَ

[AI] I heard Anas saying, "I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) turning away from his right side."

سَمِعْتُ أَنَسًا يَقُولُ «رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَنْصَرِفُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ»

[AI] He was asked about a child born out of wedlock who dies. He said, "If he is the son of an Arab woman, his mother inherits one-third, and the remainder of his wealth is placed in the public treasury. If he is the son of a freedwoman, his mother inherits one-third, and those who freed her inherit the rest." Marwan said, "And I heard Malik say that."

سُئِلَ عَنْ وَلَدِ زِنَا يَمُوتُ قَالَ «إِنْ كَانَ ابْنَ عَرَبِيَّةٍ وَرِثَتْ أُمُّهُ الثُّلُثَ وَجُعِلَ بَقِيَّةُ مَالِهِ فِي بَيْتِ الْمَالِ وَإِنْ كَانَ ابْنَ مَوْلَاةٍ وَرِثَتْ أُمُّهُ الثُّلُثَ وَوَرِثَ مَوَالِيهَا الَّذِينَ أَعْتَقُوهَا مَا بَقِيَ» قَالَ مَرْوَانُ وَسَمِعْتُ مَالِكًا «يَقُولُ ذَلِكَ»

I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say. . . He then mentioned the tradition to the same effect. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4492)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺعَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ يَقُولُ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] "And I heard Anas ibn Malik saying: Verily, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Make things easy and do not make things difficult, and calm people down and do not drive them away."

وَسَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يَقُولُ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ يَسِّرُوا وَلَا تُعَسِّرُوا وَسَكِّنُوا وَلَا تُنَفِّرُوا

[AI] I heard Anas ibn Malik saying that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ turned away from the prayer to his right.

سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يَقُولُ انْصَرَفَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مِنَ الصَّلَاةِ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ

[AI] I heard Anas saying, "The Prophet ﷺ used to perform his I'tikaf (in the last ten days of Ramadan) and he did not wrong anyone regarding their payment."

سَمِعْتُ أَنَسًا يَقُولُ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَحْتَجِمُ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ يَظْلِمُ أَحَدًا أَجْرَهُ

[AI] I heard Anas ibn Malik saying, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ , Abu Bakr, Umar, and Uthman never missed saying the takbir."

سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يَقُولُ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرُ وَعُثْمَانُ لَا يَنْقُصُونَ التَّكْبِيرَ

سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يَقُولُ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَحْتَجِمُ وَلَا يَظْلِمُ أَحَدًا أَجْرَهُ

[AI] I heard Anas ibn Malik saying, "I never saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ being offered something (pleasant) and he rejected it."

سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يَقُولُ مَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ عُرِضَ عَلَيْهِ طِيبٌ فَرَدَّهُ قَطُّ

[AI] I heard Anas ibn Malik say, "The Prophet ﷺ used to observe ihtimaam (ritual haircut) and he never wronged anyone in terms of his reward."

سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يَقُولُ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَحْتَجِمُ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ يَظْلِمُ أَحَدًا أَجْرَهُ

[AI] I heard Anas ibn Malik say that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to allow it and complete it, meaning he would shorten the prayer.

سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يَقُولُ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُجَوِّزُهَا وَيُكْمِلُهَا يَعْنِي يُخَفِّفُ الصَّلَاةَ

[AI] I heard Anas ibn Malik saying, "I never performed the prayer (meaning, following the prayer of) a man or anyone from the people with more focus than the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in its entirety."

سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يَقُولُ مَا صَلَّيْتُ يَعْنِي وَرَاءَ رَجُلٍ أَوْأَحَدٍ مِنَ النَّاسِ أَخَفَّ صَلَاةً مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فِي تَمَامٍ

[AI] I heard the Prophet ﷺ reciting on the pulpit, "{And they will call, 'O Malik'}" [Surah Az-Zukhruf: 77].

سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ يَقْرَأُ {وَنَادَوْا يَا مَالِكُ} [الزخرف 77]

[AI] I heard the Prophet ﷺ saying something similar to that.

سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ

[AI] I heard Anas ibn Malik saying, "The Prophet ﷺ once ate bread and meat at Safiyya bint Huyay's home."

سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يَقُولُ «أَطْعَمَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ عَلَى صَفِيَّةَ بِنْتِ حُيَيٍّ خُبْزًا وَلَحْمًا»

[AI] I heard Anas bin Malik saying, "Indeed, the Prophet ﷺ used to prefer or turn away from his right side."

سَمِعْتَ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يَقُولُ «إِنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يَنْصَرِفُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ»

[AI] I heard Anas ibn Malik saying, "This is how I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ doing."

سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يَقُولُ «هَكَذَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَصْنَعُ»

سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يَقُولُ «أَوَلَمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَلَى زَيْنَبَ بِنْتِ جَحْشٍ بِخُبْزٍ وَلَحْمٍ»

سَمِعْتُ أَنَسًا يَقُولُ «أَوْلَمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَلَى زَيْنَبَ بِخُبْزٍ وَلَحْمٍ»

[AI] "I heard the Prophet ﷺ reciting on the pulpit, 'And they will call out, 'O Malik!'" [Surah Az-Zukhruf, 43:77] and Ishaq said, 'Verily, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said...'"

سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقْرَأُ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ {وَنَادَوْا يَا مَالِكُ} [الزخرف 77] وَقَالَ إِسْحَاقُ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ

وَقَالَ لِي مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ مِثْلَهُ
