I heard the Prophet ﷺ reciting the following Verse on the pulpit: "They will call: O Malik...' and Sufyan said that ʿAbdullah recited it: 'They will call: O Mali...' (43.77)

سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقْرَأُ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ {وَنَادَوْا يَا مَالِكُ} قَالَ سُفْيَانُ فِي قِرَاءَةِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ وَنَادَوْا يَا مَالِ

That he heard the Prophet ﷺ on the pulpit reciting:-- "They will cry: "O Malik!' (43.77) (Malik is the gate-keeper (angel) of the (Hell) Fire.)

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقْرَأُ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ {وَنَادَوْا يَا مَالِكُ }

0 Malik."

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقْرَأُ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ { وَنَادَوْا يَا مَالِكُ}

This hadith has been reported on the authority of Anas through another chain of transmitters.

سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يَقُولُ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ

I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say. . . He then mentioned the tradition to the same effect.

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to give me a grant, and he mentioned its meaning.

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُعْطِينِي الْعَطَاءَ، فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ.

I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say. . . He then mentioned the tradition to the same effect. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4492)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺعَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ يَقُولُ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: He then mentioned the rest of the tradition to the same effect as mentioned by Sufyan. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4540)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺفَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say. . . He then mentioned the tradition to the same effect. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4492)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] I heard the Prophet, ﷺ , say on the pulpit and he mentioned its meaning.

سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ يَقُولُ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] I heard Anas ibn Malik saying that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ turned away from the prayer to his right.

سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يَقُولُ انْصَرَفَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مِنَ الصَّلَاةِ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ

[AI] I heard Anas ibn Malik say: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ delivered a sermon from the pulpit."

سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يَقُولُ خَطَبَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ

Anas b. Malik reported that Messenger of Allah ﷺ got himself cupped and never withheld the wages of anyone. (Using translation from Muslim 1577d)

سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يَقُولُ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَحْتَجِمُ وَلَا يَظْلِمُ أَحَدًا أَجْرَهُ

[AI] I heard Anas ibn Malik saying, "I never saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ being offered something (pleasant) and he rejected it."

سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يَقُولُ مَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ عُرِضَ عَلَيْهِ طِيبٌ فَرَدَّهُ قَطُّ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: He then mentioned the rest of the tradition to the same effect as mentioned by Sufyan. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4540)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say. . . He then mentioned the tradition to the same effect. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4492)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying: "Whoever we assign to a task and he mentions its purpose along with us."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَنْ اسْتَعْمَلْنَاهُ عَلَى عَمَلٍ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] I heard the Prophet ﷺ reciting on the pulpit, "{And they will call, 'O Malik'}" [Surah Az-Zukhruf: 77].

سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ يَقْرَأُ {وَنَادَوْا يَا مَالِكُ} [الزخرف 77]

I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say. . . He then mentioned the tradition to the same effect. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4492)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ فَذَكَرَهُ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

سَمِعْتُ الصَّادِقَ الْمَصْدُوقَ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] I heard Ibrahim Al-Taimi mention its meaning.

سَمِعْتُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ التَّيْمِيَّ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] I heard Abu Dharr, so he mentioned its meaning.

سَمِعْتُ أَبَا ذَرٍّ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say. . . He then mentioned the tradition to the same effect. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4492)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قال لا تسموا العنب الكرم

[AI] I heard Anas ibn Malik saying, "This is how I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ doing."

سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يَقُولُ «هَكَذَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَصْنَعُ»

[AI] I heard Anas ibn Malik say, "Did not the Messenger of Allah ﷺ marry Zainab bint Jahsh with bread and meat?"

سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يَقُولُ «أَوَلَمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَلَى زَيْنَبَ بِنْتِ جَحْشٍ بِخُبْزٍ وَلَحْمٍ»

[AI] "I heard the Prophet ﷺ reciting on the pulpit, 'And they will call out, 'O Malik!'" [Surah Az-Zukhruf, 43:77] and Ishaq said, 'Verily, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said...'"

سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقْرَأُ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ {وَنَادَوْا يَا مَالِكُ} [الزخرف 77] وَقَالَ إِسْحَاقُ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ

"عَنْ عَلىٍّ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَبىَّ ﷺ يَقْرأُ: " وَنَادَوْا يَا مَالكُ ".
