عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ»

"I came to the Messenger of Allah" and he mentioned something similar. (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4176)

أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ

Abu Dawud said “I heard Muhammad bin Isa narrating this tradition who said Mu’tamar narrated it to us. And he (Mu’tamar) said “ I heard Al Hakam bin Aban narrating this tradition. He did not mention the name of Ibn ‘Abbas. Abu Dawud said “Al Hussain bin Huraith wrote to me saying “Al Fadl bin Musa narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas to the same effect from the Prophet ﷺ. عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ ح

خَطَبَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ بَعْدَ الصَّلَاةِ

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ فَذَكَرَهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "So he mentioned its likeness."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: He then mentioned the rest of the tradition to the same effect as mentioned by Sufyan. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4540)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] "About the Prophet, ﷺ , he mentioned along with us."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ, he said, "Whatever a people did, they will be mentioned."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ مَا عَمِلَ قَوْمٌ فَذَكَرَهُ

"When the son of Adam wakes up in the morning, all of his body parts bow to the tongue and say: 'Fear Allah regarding us, we are only part of you. If you are straight we are straight and if you are crooked we are crooked." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 2407)

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَذَكَرَهُ

"I heard Ash-Sha'bi saying: 'I sat with Ibn 'Umar for a year and I did not hear him narrate anything from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ" (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 26)

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ شَدِيدٌ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, so he mentioned something similar to it.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: He then mentioned the rest of the tradition to the same effect as mentioned by Sufyan. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4540)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] The passage translates to: "About the Prophet ﷺ , he mentioned something along those lines."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ led us in the eclipse prayer, and we did not hear his voice.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1264)

صَلَّى بِنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي كُسُوفٍ فَلَمْ نَسْمَعْ لَهُ صَوْتًا

This tradition has also been transmitted by Sa'd (b. Abi Waqqas) from the Prophet ﷺ in a similar manner through a different chain of narrators. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1470)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ

[AI] "About the Prophet ﷺ , he mentioned the narration."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ

The above mentioned tradition has also been transmitted in a similar manner by Ibn 'Abbas from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1491)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ يَا بِلَالُ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed prayer in the house.

صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي الْبَيْتِ

[AI] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said the likes of it."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ مِثْلَهُ

[AI] About the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , he mentioned the narration.

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , delivered a speech and mentioned its meaning to us.

خَطَبَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] Regarding the prayer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , he mentioned something similar to it.

عَنْ صَلَاةِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ

[AI] "While the Messenger of Allah ﷺ mentioned its meaning with us."

بَيْنَمَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ addressed us and mentioned something similar."

خَطَبَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed for us and mentioned us.

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ نَحْوَهُ

[AI] About my son, O Messenger of Allah? He said, "Yes."

عَنِ ابْنِي يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ؟ قَالَ «نَعَمْ»

[AI] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed in the house between the two pillars."

«صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فِي الْبَيْتِ بَيْنَ السَّارِيَتَيْنِ»

“I asked Jabir bin ‘Abdullah about hyenas: ‘Are they game (that can be hunted)?’ He said: ‘Yes.’ I said: ‘Can I eat them?’ He said: ‘Yes.’ I said: ‘Is this something that you heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ?’ He said: ‘Yes.’” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3236)

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «نَعَمْ»

[AI] And he said: "Indeed, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ has prayed for me."
