[Machine] "I heard Ibn Umar say, ‘The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed in the house, and someone will come who forbids that, and Ibn Abbas was sitting next to him.’"  

سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ يَقُولُ «صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فِي الْبَيْتِ وَسَيَأْتِي مَنْ يَنْهَى عَنْ ذَلِكَ وَابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ جَالِسٌ إِلَى جَنْبِهِ»  

[Machine] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed in the house between the two pillars."  

«صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فِي الْبَيْتِ بَيْنَ السَّارِيَتَيْنِ»  

“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered the Ka’bah on the Day of the Conquest (of Makkah), with Bilal and ‘Uthman bin Shaibah, and they locked the door behind them from the inside. When they came out, I asked Bilal: ‘Where did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ pray?’ He told me that when he entered, he turned to his right and prayed in the direction that he was facing, between the two columns.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3063)   

دَخَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَوْمَ الْفَتْحِ الْكَعْبَةَ وَمَعَهُ بِلَالٌ وَعُثْمَانُ بْنُ طَلْحَةَ فَأَغْلَقُوا عَلَيْهِمُ الْبَابَ مِنْ دَاخِلٍ فَلَمَّا خَرَجُوا سَأَلْتُ بِلَالًا قُلْتُ أَيْنَ صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ؟ قَالَ رَأَيْتُهُ «صَلَّى عَلَى وَجْهِهِ حِينَ دَخَلَ بَيْنَ الْعَمُودَيْنِ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ» ثُمَّ لُمْتُ نَفْسِي أَنْ لَا أَكُونَ سَأَلْتُهُ كَمْ صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ  

Messenger of Allah, ﷺ entered the House, and Usama, Bilal and Uthman b. Talha were with him, and they kept the door closed for a considerable time. Then it was opened and I was the first to enter the House and meet Bilal, and I said: Where did Messenger of Allah ﷺ observe prayer? He said: Between these two front pillars. I, however, forgot to ask him the number of rak'ahs that he observed. (Using translation from Muslim 1329d)  

دَخَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ الْبَيْتَ وَمَعَهُ أُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ وَبِلَالٌ وَعُثْمَانُ بْنُ طَلْحَةَ فَأَجَافُوا الْبَابَ عَلَيْهِمْ طَوِيلًا ثُمَّ فُتِحَ فَكُنْتُ أَوْلَ مَنْ دَخَلَ فَلَقِيتُ بِلَالًا فَقُلْتُ أَيْنَ صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ؟ فَقَالَ «بَيْنَ الْعَمُودَيْنِ الْمُقَدَّمَيْنِ» فَنَسِيتُ أَنْ أَسْأَلَهُ كَمْ صَلَّى  

‘Abd Allaah bin Umar said “The Apostle of Allaah ﷺ entered the Ka’bah and along with him entered Usamah bin Zaid, Uthman bin Talhah Al Hajabi and Bilal. He then closed the door and stayed there. ‘Abd Allah bin ‘Umar said “I asked Bilal when he came out What did the Apostle of Allaah ﷺ do (there)? He replied “He stood with a pillar on his left, two pillars on his right, and three pillars behind him. At that time the House (the Ka’bah) stood on six pillars. He then prayed. أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ دَخَلَ الْكَعْبَةَ هُوَ وَأُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ وَعُثْمَانُ بْنُ طَلْحَةَ وَبِلَالُ بْنُ رَبَاحٍ مَعَهُ فَأَغْلَقَهَا عَلَيْهِ وَمَكَثَ فِيهَا قَالَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ فَسَأَلْتُ بِلَالًا حِينَ خَرَجَ أَيْنَ صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ؟ قَالَ «جَعَلَ عَمُودًا عَنْ يَسَارِهِ وَعَمُودَيْنِ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَثَلَاثَةَ أَعْمِدَةٍ وَرَاءَهُ» وَكَانَ الْبَيْتُ يَوْمَئِذٍ عَلَى سِتَّةِ أَعْمِدَةٍ  

[Machine] I saw Ibn Umar inside the house until he prayed four units of prayer between the "sariyatayn" (two garments worn under the shoulders). I then approached him and when he finished praying, I asked, "Where did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ pray?" He replied, "Here." Osama bin Zaid informed me that he saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ praying.  

رَأَيْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ دَاخِلَ الْبَيْتِ حَتَّى إِذَا كَانَ بَيْنَ السَّارِيَتَيْنِ صَلَّى أَرْبَعًا فَقُمْتُ إِلَى جَنْبِهِ فَلَمَّا صَلَّى قُلْتُ أَيْنَ صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ؟ قَالَ «هَاهُنَا» أَخْبَرَنِي أُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ أَنَّهُ رَأَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ صَلَّى  

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ used to pray, and between him and the Qibla (direction of prayer) was a distance of about three arms' lengths.  

كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «يُصَلِّي وَبَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ الْقِبْلَةِ مِقْدَارُ ثَلَاثَةِ أَذْرُعٍ»  

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ entered the Kaaba and found six cloths hanging in it. He stood by each cloth and made dua (supplication), but did not pray.  

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ «دَخَلَ الْكَعْبَةَ وَفِيهَا سِتُّ سَوَارِي فَقَامَ عِنْدَ كُلِّ سَارِيَةٍ وَدَعَا وَلَمْ يُصَلِّ»  

[Machine] Upon entering the house, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ supplicated in all of its corners and did not pray inside it until he came out and prayed by the door, saying, "Here is the Qiblah, pray towards it."  

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ لَمَّا دَخَلَ الْبَيْتَ دَعَا فِي نَوَاحِيهِ كُلِّهَا وَلَمْ يُصَلِّ فِيهِ حَتَّى خَرَجَ فَصَلَّى عِنْدَ الْبَابِ وَقَالَ «هَاهُنَا قِبْلَةٌ» فَصَلِّهِ
