10. Book of Funerals
١٠۔ كِتَابُ الْجَنَائِزِ وَمَا يَتَعَلَّقُ بِهَا مُقَدَّمًا أَوْ مُؤَخَّرًا
ذِكْرُ الْأَمْرِ بِرَدِّ الشُّهَدَاءِ إِلَى مَصَارِعِهِمْ إِذَا أُخْرِجُوا عَنْهَا
[Machine] "From Nubayh Al-Anzi, from Jabir ibn Abdullah, that he said regarding the killing of the Battle of Uhud, they carried their killed ones, then a caller called out from the Messenger of Allah's ﷺ command, 'Return the killed ones to their battleground.'"
عَنْ نُبَيْحٍ الْعَنَزِيِّ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَنَّهُ قَالَ فِي قَتْلَى أُحُدٍ حَمَلُوا قَتْلَاهُمْ فَنَادَى مُنَادِي رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ «أَنْ رُدُّوا الْقَتْلَى إِلَى مَصَارِعِهِمْ»
ذِكْرُ الْبَيَانِ بِأَنَّ الْقَتْلَى مِنَ الشُّهَدَاءِ إِنَّمَا أُمِرَ بَرْدِهِمْ إِلَى مَصَارِعِهِمْ لِئَلَّا يُدْفَنُوا فِي غَيْرِهَا
[Machine] From Nu'bayh Al-'Anazi, from Jabir ibn 'Abdullah, who said: The Prophet ﷺ went out from Al-Madinah to fight against the polytheists. My father, 'Abdullah, said to me, "O Jabir, it is not necessary for you to be with the people of Al-Madinah in order to know what will happen to us. By Allah, if it wasn't for the fact that I am leaving behind daughters, I would have loved to be killed in your presence. While I was still with the people of Al-Madinah, my cousin's son came with my father and uncle, following them on a camel. They entered Al-Madinah to bury them in our graves. Suddenly, a man came running and shouted, 'Indeed, the Prophet ﷺ orders you to return with the corpses and bury them where they were killed.' So we returned with the corpses to where they were killed.
عَنْ نُبَيْحٍ الْعَنَزِيِّ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ خَرَجَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ مِنَ الْمَدِينَةِ إِلَى الْمُشْرِكِينَ لِيُقَاتِلَهُمْ فَقَالَ لِي أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ يَا جَابِرُ لَا عَلَيْكَ أَنْ تَكُونَ فِي نُظَّارِ أَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ حَتَّى تَعْلَمَ إِلَى مَا يَصِيرُ أَمْرُنَا فَإِنِّي وَاللَّهِ لَوْلَا أَنِّي أَتْرُكُ بَنَاتٍ لِي بَعْدِي لَأَحْبَبْتُ أَنْ تُقْتَلَ بَيْنَ يَدَيَّ فَبَيْنَا أَنَا فِي النَّظَّارِينَ إِذْ جَاءَ ابْنُ عَمَّتِي بِأَبِي وَخَالِي عَادَلَهُمَا عَلَى نَاضِحٍ فَدَخَلَ بِهِمَا الْمَدِينَةَ لِيَدْفِنَهُمَا فِي مَقَابِرِنَا إِذْ لَحِقَ رَجُلٌ يُنَادِي «أَلَا إِنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَأْمُرُكُمْ أَنْ تَرْجِعُوا بِالْقَتْلَى فَتَدْفِنُوهَا فِي مَصَارِعِهَا حَيْثُ قُتِلَتْ» قَالَ فَرَجَعْنَاهُمَا مَعَ الْقَتْلَى حَيْثُ قُتِلَتْ
ذِكْرُ إِثْبَاتِ الشَّهَادَةِ لِمَنْ جُرِحَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَمَاتَ مِنْ جِرَاحِهِ تِلْكَ
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever is wounded in the cause of Allah will come on the Day of Judgment with the color of blood still bleeding and the smell of musk, and whoever is wounded in the cause of Allah will be sealed with the seal of martyrs."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «مَنْ جُرِحَ جُرْحًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ جَاءَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يَدْمَى اللَّوْنُ لَوْنُ دَمٍ وَالرِّيحُ رِيحِ مِسْكٍ وَمَنْ جُرِحَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ طُبِعَ بِطَابَعِ الشُّهَدَاءِ»
ذِكْرُ الْخِصَالِ الَّتِي يُدْرِكِ بِهَا الْمَرْءُ فَضْلَ الشَّهَادَةِ وَإِنْ لَمْ يُقْتَلْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ
Whom do you consider to be a martyr among you? They (the Companions) said: Messenger, of Allah, one who is slain in the way of Allah is a martyr. He said: Then (if this is the definition of a martyr) the martyrs of my Umma will be small in number. They asked: Messenger of Allah, who are they? He said: One who is slain in the way of Allah is a martyr; one who dies in the way of Allah, is a martyr; one who dies of plague is a martyr; one who dies of cholera is a martyr. Ibn Miqsam said: I testify the truth of your father's statement (with regard to this tradition) that the Prophet ﷺ said: One who is drowned is a martyr. (Using translation from Muslim 1915a)
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «مَنْ تَعُدُّونَ الشُّهَدَاءَ فِيكُمْ؟ » قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مَنْ قُتِلَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ قَالَ «إِنَّ شُهَدَاءَ أُمَّتِي إِذًا لَقَلِيلٌ» قَالُوا مَنْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ؟ قَالَ «مَنْ قُتِلَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ وَمَنْ مَاتَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ وَمَنْ مَاتَ فِي الطَّاعُونِ فَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ وَمَنْ مَاتَ فِي بَطْنٍ فَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ»
ذِكْرُ وَصْفِ الشَّهِيدِ الَّذِي يَكُونُ غَيْرَ الْقَتِيلِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ
[Machine] The Messenger of Allahﷺ said, "Who do you consider as martyrs among you?" They said, "Those who are killed in the cause of Allah." He saidﷺ "And whoever dies in the cause of Allah is a martyr, and whoever dies from the plague is a martyr."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «مَنْ تَعُدُّونَ الشُّهَدَاءَ فِيكُمْ؟ » قَالُوا مَنْ قُتِلَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ قَالَ ﷺ «وَمَنْ مَاتَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ وَمَنْ مَاتَ فِي طَاعُونٍ فَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ»
ذِكْرُ الْبَيَانِ بِأَنَّ الْمُصْطَفَى ﷺ لَمْ يُرِدْ بِهَذَا الْعَدَدِ نَفْيًا عَمَّا وَرَاءَهُ
[Machine] The Messenger of Allahﷺ said: "There are five types of martyrs: the one who dies of a stomach disease, the one who dies due to a plague, the one who drowns, the one who dies in a building collapse, and the martyr."
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «الشَّهِيدُ خَمْسَةٌ الْمَبْطُونُ وَالْمَطْعُونُ وَالْغَرِقُ وَصَاحِبُ الْهَدْمِ وَالشَّهِيدُ»
ذِكْرُ الْبَيَانِ بِأَنَّ الْمُصْطَفَى لَمْ يُرِدْ بِقَوْلِهِ: الشُّهَدَاءُ خَمْسَةٌ نَفْيًا عَمَّا وَرَاءَ هَذَا الْعَدَدِ الْمَحْصُورِ
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to visit Abdullah ibn Thabit who was ill. He found that he was dominated (by the divine decree). The Messenger of Allah ﷺ called him loudly, but he did not respond. He uttered the Qur'anic verse "We belong to Allah and to Him do we return" and he said: We have been dominated against you, AburRabi'. Then the women cried and wept, and Ibn Atik began to silence them. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Leave them, when the divine decree is made, no woman should weep. They (the people) asked: What is necessary happening, Messenger of Allah? He replied: Death. His daughter said: I hope you will be a martyr, for you have completed your preparations for jihad. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Allah Most High gave him a reward according to his intentions. What do you consider martyrdom? They said: Being killed in the cause of Allah. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: There are seven types of martyrdom in addition to being killed in Allah's cause: one who dies of plague is a martyr; one who is drowned is a martyr; one who dies of pleurisy is a martyr; one who dies of an internal complaint is a martyr; one who is burnt to death is a martyr; who one is killed by a building falling on him is a martyr; and a woman who dies while pregnant is a martyr. أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ جَاءَ يَعُودُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ ثَابِتٍ فَوَجَدَهُ قَدْ غُلِبَ عَلَيْهِ فَصَاحَ بِهِ فَلَمْ يُجِبْهُ فَاسْتَرْجَعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَقَالَ «غُلِبْنَا عَلَيْكَ يَا أَبَا الرَّبِيعِ» فَصَاحَ النِّسْوَةُ وَبَكَيْنَ وَجَعَلَ ابْنُ عَتِيكٍ يُسَكِّتُهُنَّ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «دَعْهُنَّ فَإِذَا وَجَبَ فَلَا تَبْكِيَنَّ بَاكِيَةٌ» فَقَالُوا وَمَا الْوُجُوبُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ؟ قَالَ «إِذَا مَاتَ» قَالَتِ ابْنَتُهُ وَاللَّهِ إِنْ كُنْتُ لَأَرْجُو أَنْ تَكُونَ شَهِيدًا فَإِنَّكَ كُنْتَ قَدْ قَضَيْتَ جِهَازَكَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «إِنَّ اللَّهَ قَدْ أَوْقَعَ أَجْرَهُ عَلَى قَدْرِ نِيَّتِهِ وَمَا تَعُدُّونَ الشَّهَادَةَ؟ » قَالُوا الْقَتْلُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «الشَّهَادَةُ سَبْعٌ سِوَى الْقَتْلِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ الْمَبْطُونُ شَهِيدٌ وَالْغَرِيقُ شَهِيدٌ وَصَاحِبُ ذَاتِ الْجَنْبِ شَهِيدٌ وَالْمَطْعُونُ شَهِيدٌ وَالْحَرِيقُ شَهِيدٌ وَالَّذِي يَمُوتُ تَحْتَ الْهَدْمِ شَهِيدٌ وَالْمَرْأَةُ تَمُوتُ بِجَمْعٍ شَهِيدٌ»

ذِكْرُ تَفَضُّلِ اللَّهِ جَلَّ وَعَلَا عَلَى سَائِلِهِ الشَّهَادَةَ مِنْ قَلْبِهِ بِإِعْطَائِهِ أَجْرَ الشَّهِيدِ وَإِنَّ مَاتَ عَلَى فِرَاشِهِ
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whoever is wounded in the path of Allah, his scent on the Day of Judgment will be like musk, his color will be like saffron, and he will have the seal of the martyrs on him. And whoever asks Allah for martyrdom sincerely, Allah will grant him the reward of a martyr, even if he dies on his bed."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «مَنْ جُرِحَ جُرْحًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ جَاءَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ رِيحُهُ كَرِيحِ الْمِسْكِ لَوْنُهُ لَوْنَ الزَّعْفَرَانِ عَلَيْهِ طَابَعُ الشُّهَدَاءِ وَمَنْ سَأَلَ اللَّهَ الشَّهَادَةَ مُخْلِصًا أَعْطَاهُ اللَّهُ أَجْرَ شَهِيدٍ وَإِنَّ مَاتَ عَلَى فِرَاشِهِ»
ذِكْرُ تَبْلِيغِ اللَّهِ جَلَّ وَعَلَا مَنَازِلَ الشُّهَدَاءِ مَنْ سَأَلَ اللَّهَ الشَّهَادَةَ وَإِنْ جَاءَتْهُ مَنِيَّتُهُ عَلَى فِرَاشِهِ
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: If anyone asks Allah for martyrdom sincerely, Allah will make him reach the ranks of martyrs even if he died on his bed. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1520)
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ «مَنْ سَأَلَ اللَّهَ الشَّهَادَةَ بِصِدْقٍ بَلَّغَهُ اللَّهُ مَنَازِلَ الشُّهَدَاءِ وَإِنْ مَاتَ عَلَى فِرَاشِهِ»
ذِكْرُ تَفَضُّلِ اللَّهِ جَلَّ وَعَلَا عَلَى مَنْ قُتِلَ مِنْ أَجْلِ مَالِهِ إِذَا تُعُدِّيَ عَلَيْهِ بِكَتْبَةِ الشَّهَادَةَ لَهُ
[Machine] The Prophetﷺ was at her house with some of his companions when a man came to him and asked, "O Messenger of Allah, how much charity for dates is so and so?" The Prophet replied, "Such and such." The man said, "But so and so has wronged me and taken from me this and that." The Prophetﷺ then said, "What will you do when someone who wrongs you does more harm than this?" The people then discussed this matter, and a man among them asked, "What should we do, O Messenger of Allah, when a person from among us is absent with his camels, cattle, crops, and palm trees, and he pays Zakah on his wealth, yet someone wrongs him? What should he do?" The Prophetﷺ replied, "Whoever pays his Zakah willingly, seeking the pleasure of Allah and the home of the Hereafter, and does not conceal anything from it, establishes prayer, and gives Zakah, then if someone transgresses against him, he should take his weapon and fight. If he is killed, he will be a martyr."
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ بَيْنَا هُوَ فِي بَيْتِهَا وَعِنْدَهُ نَفَرٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِهِ إِذْ جَاءَهُ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ كَمْ صَدَقَةُ كَذَا وَكَذَا مِنَ التَّمْرِ؟ قَالَ «كَذَا وَكَذَا» قَالَ الرَّجُلُ فَإِنَّ فُلَانًا تَعَدَّى عَلَيَّ وَأَخَذَ مِنِّي كَذَا وَكَذَا فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «فَكَيْفَ إِذَا سَعَى عَلَيْكُمْ مَنْ يَتَعَدَّى عَلَيْكُمْ أَشَدَّ مِنْ هَذَا التَّعَدِّي» فَخَاضَ الْقَوْمُ فِي ذَلِكَ فَقَالَ الرَّجُلُ مِنْهُمْ فَكَيْفَ بِنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِذَا كَانَ الرَّجُلُ مِنَّا غَائِبًا فِي إِبِلِهِ وَمَاشِيَتِهِ وَزَرْعِهِ وَنَخْلِهِ فَأَدَّى زَكَاةَ مَالِهِ فَتَعَدَّى عَلَيْهِ الْحَقَّ فَكَيْفَ يَصْنَعُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ؟ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «مَنْ أَدَّى زَكَاةَ مَالِهِ طَيْبَةً بِهَا نَفْسُهُ يُرِيدُ بِهَا وَجْهَ اللَّهِ وَالدَّارَ الْآخِرَةَ ثُمَّ لَمْ يُغَيِّبُ مِنْهَا شَيْئًا وَأَقَامَ الصَّلَاةَ وَآتَى الزَّكَاةَ فَتَعَدَّى عَلَيْهِ الْحَقَّ فَأَخَذَ سِلَاحَهُ فَقَاتَلَ فَقُتِلَ فَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ»
ذِكْرُ إِيجَابِ الْجَنَّةِ وَإِثْبَاتِ الشَّهَادَةِ لِمَنْ قُتِلَ دُونَ مَالِهِ قَاتَلَ، أَوْ لَمْ يُقَاتِلْ
“Whoever is killed defending his property, he is a martyr.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2580)
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ قُتِلَ دُونَ مَالِهِ فَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ»
ذِكْرُ خَبَرٍ قَدْ يُوهِمُ عَالِمًا مِنَ النَّاسِ أَنَّ خَبَرَ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ الَّذِي ذَكَرْنَاهُ مُنْقَطِعٌ غَيْرَ مُتَّصِلٍ
[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allahﷺ say, "Whoever oppresses even by a handspan on the earth, Allah will encircle him with seven earths on the Day of Judgment."
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ ظَلَمَ مِنَ الْأَرْضِ شِبْرًا طَوَّقَهُ اللَّهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مِنْ سَبْعِ أَرَضِينَ»
ذِكْرُ إِثْبَاتِ الشَّهَادَةِ لِلْمُجَاهِدِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ إِذَا قَتَلَهُ سِلَاحُهُ
[Machine] On the day of Khaybar, my brother fought fiercely with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ . He turned his sword against my brother and killed him. The companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ spoke about this incident, saying that a man died by his own weapon and they had doubts about him. Salamah spoke up and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ closed the matter. I then said, "O Messenger of Allah, allow me to retaliate for you." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ granted me permission. Umar ibn al-Khattab said, "I know what you mean."
لَمَّا كَانَ يَوْمَ خَيْبَرَ قَاتَلَ أَخِي قِتَالًا شَدِيدًا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَارْتَدَّ عَلَيْهِ سَيْفُهُ فَقَتَلَهُ فَقَالَ أَصْحَابُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فِي ذَلِكَ رَجُلٌ مَاتَ بِسِلَاحِهِ وَشَكُّوا فِي بَعْضِ أَمْرِهِ قَالَ سَلَمَةُ فَقَفَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مِنْ خَيْبَرَ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ائْذَنْ لِي أَنْ أَرْجُزَ بِكَ فَأَذِنَ لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ أَعْلَمُ مَا تَقُولُ
ذِكْرُ الْبَيَانِ بِأَنَّ الشُّهَدَاءَ الَّذِينَ مَاتُوا فِي الْمَعْرَكَةِ يَجِبُ أَنْ لَا يُغَسَّلُوا عَنْ دِمَائِهِمْ وَلَا يُصَلَّى عَلَيْهِمْ
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ combined two persons from among the martyrs of Uhud (in one garment), and said: Which of the two has learnt the Qur'an more ? When one of them was pointed to him, he advanced him in the grave, saying: I shall be witness to all these (martyrs) on the Day of Judgement. He then ordered them to be buried without being washed. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 3138)
أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَجْمَعُ بَيْنَ الرَّجُلَيْنِ مِنْ قَتْلَى أُحُدٍ فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ وَيَقُولُ «أَيُّهُمَا أَكْثَرُ أَخْذًا لِلْقُرْآنِ؟ » فَإِذَا أُشِيرَ إِلَى أَحَدِهِمَا قَدَّمَهُ فِي اللَّحْدِ قَالَ ﷺ «أَنَا شَهِيدٌ عَلَى هَؤُلَاءِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ» وَأَمَرَ بِدَفْنِهِمْ بِدِمَائِهِمْ وَلَمْ يُصَلِّ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَمْ يُغَسَّلُوا
ذِكْرُ الْخَبَرِ الْمُضَادِّ فِي الظَّاهِرِ خَبَرَ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الَّذِي ذَكَرْنَاهُ
I shall be present there (at the Cistern) before you. I shall be your witness and, by Allah, I perceive as if I am seeing with my own eyes my Cistern at this very state and I have been given the keys of the treasures of the earth or the keys of the earth and, by Allah, I am not afraid concerning you that you would associate anything (with Allah after me), but I am afraid that you would be vying with one another (for the possession of) the treasures of the earth. أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ خَرَجَ يَوْمًا فَصَلَّى عَلَى أَهْلِ أُحُدٍ صَلَاتَهُ عَلَى الْمَيِّتِ ثُمَّ انْصَرَفَ إِلَى الْمِنْبَرِ فَقَالَ «إِنِّي فَرَطٌ لَكُمْ وَأَنَا شَهِيدٌ عَلَيْكُمْ وَإِنِّي وَاللَّهِ لَأَنْظُرُ إِلَى حَوْضِي الَْآنَ وَإِنِّي قَدْ أُعْطِيتُ مَفَاتِيحَ خَزَائِنِ الْأَرْضِ أَوْ مَفَاتِيحَ الْأَرْضِ وَاللَّهِ مَا أَخَافُ عَلَيْكُمْ أَنْ تُشْرِكُوا بَعْدِي وَلَكِنِّي أَخَافُ أَنْ تَتَنَافَسُوا فِيهَا»
ذِكْرُ الْوَقْتِ الَّذِي فَعَلَ ﷺ مَا وَصَفْنَا مِنْ خَبَرِ عُقْبَةِ بْنِ عَامِرٍ
[Machine] Indeed, the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم prayed for the martyrs of Uhud, then he turned away and sat on the pulpit. He praised and glorified Allah and then said, "O people, I am among you, I leave behind me life and death, and I am a witness upon you. By Allah, I do not fear that you will associate anything with Allah after me, but I fear for you that you will compete with one another in worldly matters." Then he entered, and he did not leave his house until Allah Almighty took him.
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ صَلَّى عَلَى قَتْلَى أُحُدٍ ثُمَّ انْصَرَفَ وَقَعَدَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ فَحَمِدَ اللَّهَ وَأَثْنَى عَلَيْهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ «أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنِّي بَيْنَ أَيْدِيكُمْ فَرَطٌ وَإِنِّي عَلَيْكُمْ لِشَهِيدٌ وَإِنِّي وَاللَّهِ مَا أَخَافُ عَلَيْكُمْ أَنْ تُشْرِكُوا بَعْدِي وَلَكِنِّي قَدْ أُعْطِيتُ اللَّيْلَةَ مَفَاتِيحَ خَزَائِنِ الْأَرْضِ وَالسَّمَاءِ وَأَخَافُ عَلَيْكُمْ أَنْ تَتَنَافَسُوا فِيهَا» ثُمَّ دَخَلَ فَلَمْ يَخْرُجْ مِنْ بَيْتِهِ حَتَّى قَبَضَهُ اللَّهُ جَلَّ وَعَلَا
