١٠۔ كِتَابُ الْجَنَائِزِ وَمَا يَتَعَلَّقُ بِهَا مُقَدَّمًا أَوْ مُؤَخَّرًا
ذِكْرُ الْأَمْرِ لِلْمَرْءِ بِالْإِكْثَارِ مِنْ ذِكْرِ مُنَغِّصِ اللَّذَّاتِ، نَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ بَرَكَةَ وُرُودِهِ
“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ‘Frequently remember the destroyer of pleasures,’ meaning death.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 4258)
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «أَكْثِرُوا ذِكْرَ هَاذِمِ اللَّذَّاتِ الْمَوْتِ»
10.4.2 Subsection
١٠۔٤۔٢ ذِكْرُ الْعِلَّةِ الَّتِي مِنْ أَجْلِهَا أُمِرَ بِالْإِكْثَارِ مِنْ ذِكْرِ الْمَوْتِ
Remembering death brings ease as well as self-restraint
from the Prophet ﷺ, he said: Frequently remember the destroyer of pleasures (death), for whenever a servant mentions it while in difficulty, it ˹gives him relief˺, and whenever he mentions it while in ease, it gives him ˹self-restraint.˺
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «أَكْثِرُوا ذِكْرَ هَاذِمِ اللَّذَّاتِ فَمَا ذَكَرَهُ عَبْدٌ قَطُّ وَهُوَ فِي ضِيقٍ إِلَّا وَسَعَهُ عَلَيْهِ وَلَا ذَكَرُهُ وَهُوَ فِي سَعَةٍ إِلَّا ضَيِّقَهُ عَلَيْهِ»

10.4 [Machine] A Chapter on Remembering Death
١٠۔٤ فَصْلٌ فِي ذِكْرِ الْمَوْتِ
ذِكْرُ إِكْثَارِ الْمُصْطَفَى ﷺ فِي الْقَوْلِ لِمَا وَصَفْنَا
[Machine] The translation is: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to frequently say, "Increase in mentioning the destroyer of pleasures."
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يُكْثِرُ أَنْ يَقُولَ «أَكْثِرُوا مِنْ ذِكْرِ هَاذِمِ اللَّذَّاتِ»
