[Machine] In His saying ﷻ "And upon those who are able [to fast, but with hardship] is a ransom [as substitute] of feeding a poor person [each day]" [Surah Al-Baqarah 2:184], it is said: "those who are able [to fast, but with hardship] are required to give a ransom of feeding a poor person, and whoever voluntarily offers more food to another poor person, it is not considered abrogated. It is better for him, and it is better for you to fast. It is not permissible to be exempted from fasting in this except for the elderly who are unable to fast or for a sick person who is not able to recover.

[Machine] Abu Abdul Rahman and the correct opinion according to us is that it is suspended and not valid to elevate it, and Allah knows best. Because Yahya ibn Ayyub is not reliable in that matter, and the narration of Ibn Jurayj from Az-Zuhri is not preserved, and Allah knows best. It was sent by Malik.
