A hadith like this has been narrated on the authority of Samura b. Jundub.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ هَذَا

[AI] He heard the Messenger of Allah (pbuh), so he mentioned it in a similar way.

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ بِنَحْوِهِ

"I came to the Messenger of Allah" and he mentioned something similar. (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4176)

أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ

[AI] I asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about hunting with throwing arrows, so he mentioned something similar to it.

سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَنْ صَيْدِ الْمِعْرَاضِ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ

[AI] I asked the Prophet ﷺ, so he mentioned it in a similar way.

سَأَلْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ بِنَحْوِهِ

[AI] A man asked the Prophet ﷺ, so he mentioned its meaning.

أَنَّ رَجُلًا سَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: He then mentioned the rest of the tradition to the same effect as mentioned by Sufyan. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4540)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺفَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say. . . He then mentioned the tradition to the same effect. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4492)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed the Dhuhr prayer and mentioned its meaning.

صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ صَلَاةَ الظُّهْرِ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] A man came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and mentioned his meaning.

جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said during the Farewell Pilgrimage and mentioned its significance.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] I said, "O Messenger of Allah, what is the situation with the devil?" So he mentioned its meaning.

قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ حَالَ الشَّيْطَانُ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] I came to the Prophet ﷺ and he mentioned it.

أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَذَكَرَهُ

This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Zuhri with the same chain of transmitters. (Using translation from Muslim 2556c)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: He then mentioned the rest of the tradition to the same effect as mentioned by Sufyan. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4540)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

"When the son of Adam wakes up in the morning, all of his body parts bow to the tongue and say: 'Fear Allah regarding us, we are only part of you. If you are straight we are straight and if you are crooked we are crooked." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 2407)

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَذَكَرَهُ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: He then mentioned the rest of the tradition to the same effect as mentioned by Sufyan. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4540)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] I said, "O Messenger of Allah, then he mentioned its meaning."

قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, and he mentioned its meaning without attributing it to anyone.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ وَلَمْيُسْنِدْهُ

[AI] An Arab asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , so he mentioned the like of it.

سَأَلَ أَعْرَابِيٌّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said and mentioned something similar to it.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ

[AI] "We were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on a journey, and he mentioned its significance to us."

كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فِي مَسِيرٍ لَهُ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] The meaning of the passage is: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ had a whip, so he mentioned its significance."

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ قَدْ شَمِطَ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said and mentioned something similar.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I am the first to be called to prostrate and he mentioned its meaning."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَنَا أَوَّلُ مَنْ يُؤْذَنُ لَهُ فِي السُّجُودِ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] He saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and mentioned his likeness.

أَنَّهُ رَأَى رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ

[AI] O Messenger of Allah, I have seen men who mentioned its meaning.

يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنِّي رَأَيْتُ رِجَالًا فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] About the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , he mentioned the narration.

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ

I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say. . . He then mentioned the tradition to the same effect. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4492)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ قَالَ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , delivered a speech and mentioned its meaning to us.

خَطَبَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] She asked the Prophet ﷺ , so he mentioned something similar to it.

أَنَّهَا سَأَلَتِ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ

[AI] Regarding the prayer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , he mentioned something similar to it.

عَنْ صَلَاةِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ took a night off and mentioned its significance.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أَعْتَمَ لَيْلَةً فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] "While the Messenger of Allah ﷺ mentioned its meaning with us."

بَيْنَمَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ mention something similar.

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ

[AI] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ addressed us and mentioned something similar."

خَطَبَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said in my house, so he mentioned its meaning.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي بَيْتِي فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] His mother came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "So he mentioned its meaning with us."

أَنَّ أُمَّهُ أَتَتْ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَتْ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] Regarding the adornment of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , the mentioning of the hadith in its entirety.

عَنْ حِلْيَةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ» فَذِكْرُ الْحَدِيثِ بِطُولِهِ
