the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said, "˹How˺ wondrous is the affair of a believer: for there is good in every affair of his, while that is not the case with anyone else except in the case of a believer: ˹i.e.,˺ if times of ease strike him, he is grateful which is good for him; and if times of distress strike him, he is patient, which is ˹also˺ good for him." (Using translation from Muslim 2999)
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to move his lips after the Fajr prayer with something we did not see him doing before. So we said, "O Messenger of Allah, we see you doing something that you did not do before. What is it that moves your lips?" He said, "Indeed, a prophet among those who came before you was amazed by the large number of his followers, so he said, 'These people will not be harmed by anything.' So Allah revealed to him to give his nation one of three choices: either He would send upon them an enemy from outside to dominate them, or He would send upon them a severe famine, or He would send upon them death, so they consulted among themselves and said, 'We cannot bear an enemy, nor can we bear hunger, but death, so death was sent upon them and seventy thousand of them died within three days.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Now, since they have become numerous, O Allah, I strive by You, I wrestle by You, and I fight by You.'"
"The Messenger of Allah recited this Verse: 'For those who have done good is the best reward and even more.' Then he said: 'When the people of Paradise enter Paradise, and the people of the Fire enter the Fire, a caller will cry out: "O people of Paradise! You have a covenant with Allah and He wants to fulfill it." They will say: "What is it?" Has Allah not made the Balance (of our good deeds) heavy, and made our faces bright, and admitted us to Paradise and saved us from Hell?" Then the Veil will be lifted and they will look upon Him, and by Allah, Allah will not give them anything that is more beloved to them or delightful, than looking upon Him.'" (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 187)
[Machine] "For Suhayb, if it were not for three qualities in you, there would not be anything wrong with you." He asked, "What are they?" The Prophet replied, "By Allah, we do not see anything blameworthy in you." He said, "The first is that you are associated with your father, Yahya, even though you do not have any children. The second is that you call upon Al-Namir bin Qasit, even though you are a man known for your silence. And the third is that you do not hold onto wealth." He said, "As for being associated with my father, Allah's messenger ﷺ called me by that name, so I will not abandon it until I meet him. As for calling upon Al-Namir bin Qasit, I am one of them, but I was breastfed by a she-camel, so this nickname comes from that. And as for wealth, do you see me spending except in a rightful manner?"

[Machine] From the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , there are narrations that Abu Musa said, "Your companion here is either a preserver or a destroyer. Indeed, the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , last instructed us to hold fast to the Book of Allah and you will return to a people who love talking about me. So, anyone who attributes to me something I did not say, let him take his seat in the Fire. And whoever safeguards something for me, let him narrate it."

[Machine] Abdullah ibn Abi Habibah was asked, "What did you witness from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ when he was still a young boy?" He said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to our mosque one day, which is known as the Quba Mosque. We gathered around him and sat with him, and the people also sat with him. He sat as long as Allah willed him to sit, then he stood up to pray. I saw him praying with his sandals on."

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to us in Quba and sat in the courtyard of Al-Ujum. People gathered around him, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ requested water. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, 'Hajj is the standing at Arafat. Whoever arrives before the Fajr prayer of the day of Jam' (11th day of Dhul Hijjah) has completed his Hajj, which consists of three days in Mina. Whoever hastens (to leave Mina) in two days, there is no sin upon him, and whoever delays (staying in Mina) there is no sin upon him.' Then he repeated it and called it out."

Then the Prophet ﷺ said, "You will find him a shepherd or a bachelor away from his family." When they descended into the valley, they passed by a deserted hut. The Prophet ﷺ said, "Do you see this? It is easier for its people in this world than on the Day of Judgment."

[Machine] I was guarding the Prophet ﷺ one night when he went out for a need. He saw me and held my hand, and we went on. We passed by a man who was praying loudly with recitation of the Quran. The Prophet ﷺ said, "Perhaps he is showing off." I said, "O Messenger of Allah, he is praying loudly with recitation of the Quran!" The Prophet ﷺ refused to shake my hand and said, "You will not attain this matter through arguing." He then went out one night while I was guarding him for a need. He held my hand and we passed by a man who was praying with the recitation of the Quran. I said, "Perhaps he is showing off." The Prophet ﷺ said, "No, indeed he is sincere." I looked and saw that it was Abdullah bin Bujadain

We were with Messenger of Allah ﷺ in an expedition that there came a people to Allah's Apostle ﷺ from the direction of the west. They were dressed in woollen clothes and they stood near a hillock and they met him as Messenger of Allah ﷺ was sitting. I said to myself: Better go to them and stand between him and them that they may not attack him. Then I thought that perhaps there had been going on secret negotiation amongst them. I however, went to them and stood between them and him and I remember four of the words (on that occasion) which I repeat (on the fingers of my hand) that he (Messenger of Allah) said: You will attack Arabia and Allah will enable you to conquer it, then you would attack Persia and He would make you to conquer it. Then you would attack Rome and Allah will enable you to conquer it, then you would attack the Dajjal and Allah will enable you to conquer him. Nafi' said: Jabir, we thought that the Dajjal would appear after Rome (Syrian territory) would be conquered. (Using translation from Muslim 2900)

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered the mosque and saw a man who had finished his prayer, and was reciting the tashahhud saying: O Allah, I ask you, O Allah, the One, the eternally besought of all, He begetteth not, nor was He begotten, and there is none comparable unto Him, that you may forgive me my sins, you are Most Forgiving, Merciful. He (the Prophet) said: He was forgiven (repeating three times.) (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 985)

He repeated this three times. He was then asked, "What is the Day of Deliverance?" He replied, "It is the day when the false messiah (Dajjal) will come and he will ascend a hilltop and look towards the city and say to his companions, 'Do you see this white palace? This is the mosque of Ahmad.' Then he will come to the city and find angels guarding every entrance. He will strike the barrier of Medina, causing the city to shake three times. The man replied, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ took my hand and we climbed Uhud until we could see Madinah. He said, 'Woe to its people! A town whose people will abandon it is better than it, or it is like the best town. Then the Dajjal will come to it and find an angel with outspread wings guarding every entrance, preventing him from entering.' Then he descended, still holding my hand, and entered the mosque. There he found a man praying and asked me, 'Who is this?' I praised him and he said, 'Be quiet, do not listen to him or you will be destroyed.'
