[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever has seen me has indeed seen me, for Satan cannot imitate me."  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ رَآنِي فَقَدْ رَآنِي فَإِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ لَا يَسْتَطِيعُ أَنْ يَتَشَبَّهَ بِي»  

[Machine] "We performed Hajj with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ during the Farewell Hajj. We continued to pray two Rak'ahs until we returned."  

«حَجَجْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ حَجَّةَ الْوَدَاعِ فَمَا زِلْنَا نُصَلِّي رَكْعَتَيْنِ حَتَّى رَجَعْنَا»  

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ passed by a man who was praying with his garment hanging below his ankles, so he cut it for him.  

«مَرَّ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ بِرَجُلٍ يُصَلِّي قَدْ سَدَلَ ثَوْبَهُ فَقَطَعَهُ عَلَيْهِ»  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited the price of blood.  

«نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ ثَمَنِ الدَّمِ»  

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ came between Salman and Abu Darda, so Salman came to visit Abu Darda. He found Umm Darda wearing tattered clothes, so he said, "What is the matter with you, Umm Darda?" She said, "Your brother, Abu Darda, spends the night in prayer and fasts during the day, and he has no need for anything in this world." Abu Darda then came and welcomed Salman, and he brought him some food. Salman said to him, "Eat." Abu Darda said, "I am fasting." Salman said, "I swear to you that you will break your fast," and he refused to eat unless he ate with him. So they ate together, and then Salman stayed with him. When it was night, Abu Darda wanted to stand for prayer, but Salman prevented him. Then he said, "O Abu Darda, your body has a right over you, your Lord has a right over you, and your family has a right over you. Give to each their due right." When it was dawn, he said, "Now you can stand if you wish." They both got up, performed ablution, prayed, and then went for prayer. Abu Darda approached to inform the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "What Salman said is true, your body has a right over you."  

آخَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بَيْنَ سَلْمَانَ وَأَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ فَجَاءَ سَلْمَانُ يَزُورُ أَبَا الدَّرْدَاءِ فَإِذَا أُمُّ الدَّرْدَاءِ مُبْتَذَلَةٌ فَقَالَ مَا شَأْنُكِ يَا أُمَّ الدَّرْدَاءِ؟ قَالَتْ إِنَّ أَخَاكَ أَبَا الدَّرْدَاءِ يَقُومُ اللَّيْلَ وَيَصُومُ النَّهَارَ وَلَيْسَ لَهُ حَاجَةٌ فِي شَيْءٍ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا فَجَاءَ أَبُو الدَّرْدَاءِ فَرَحَّبَ بِسَلْمَانَ وَقَرَّبَ إِلَيْهِ طَعَامًا فَقَالَ لَهُ سَلْمَانُ أَطْعِمْ قَالَ إِنِّي صَائِمٌ قَالَ أَقْسَمْتُ عَلَيْكَ لَتُفْطِرَنَّ فَأَبَى يَأْكُلُ حَتَّى يَأْكُلَ مَعَهُ فَأَكَلَ مَعَهُ ثُمَّ بَاتَ عِنْدَهُ فَلَمَّا كَانَ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ أَرَادَ أَبُو الدَّرْدَاءِ أَنْ يَقُومَ فَمَنَعَهُ سَلْمَانُ ثُمَّ قَالَ يَا أَبَا الدَّرْدَاءِ إِنَّ لِجَسَدِكَ عَلَيْكَ حَقًّا وَلِرَبِّكَ حَقًّا وَلِأَهْلِكَ حَقًّا أَعْطِ كُلَّ ذِي حَقٍّ حَقَّهُ فَلَمَّا كَانَ فِي وَجْهِ الصُّبْحِ قَالَ قُمُ الْآنَ إِنْ شِئْتَ فَقَامَا فَتَوَضَّأَ ثُمَّ رَكَعَا ثُمَّ خَرَجَا إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ فَدَنَا أَبُو الدَّرْدَاءِ لِيُخْبِرَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِنَّ لِجَسَدِكَ حَقًّا مِثْلَ مَا قَالَ سَلْمَانُ»  

[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibit the profession of cupping and engaging in usurious practices.  

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ «نَهَى عَنْ كَسْبِ الْحَجَّامِ وَمَهْرِ الْبَغِيِّ»  

[Machine] I entered upon the Prophet ﷺ with two men from the Bani 'Amir, and he said, "Who are you?" We said, "We are from the Bani 'Amir." He said, "You both are from me."  

دَخَلْتُ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَا وَرَجُلَانِ مِنْ بَنِي عَامِرٍ فَقَالَ «مِمَّنْ أَنْتُمْ؟» قُلْنَا مِنْ بَنِي عَامِرٍ قَالَ «أَنْتُمَا مِنِّي»  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited the price of blood and the price of a dog, and the dowry of the rebellious woman, and cursed the female tattooer and the tattooed woman, and the consumer of usury and the one who facilitates it.  

«إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ نَهَى عَنْ ثَمَنِ الدَّمِ وَثَمَنِ الْكَلْبِ وَعَنْ مَهْرِ الْبَغِيِّ وَلَعَنَ الْوَاشِمَةَ وَالْمُسْتَوْشِمَةَ وَآكِلَ الرِّبَا وَمُوكِلَهُ»  

[Machine] From the Prophet, ﷺ who said, "Whoever sees me in a dream, it is as if he has seen me in wakefulness, for surely Satan cannot take my form."  

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ رَآنِي فِي الْمَنَامِ فَكَأَنَّمَا رَآنِي فِي الْيَقَظَةِ فَإِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ لَا يَتَشَبَّهُ بِي»  

[Machine] I approached the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while he was lying down when the sun set, and Bilal came out and called for the prayer.  

«دَنَوْتُ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَهُوَ بِالْأَبْطَحِ حِينَ زَالَتِ الشَّمْسُ فَخَرَجَ بِلَالٌ فَأَذَّنَ بِالصَّلَاةِ»  

I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ (in Mecca at al-Abtah) in a red leather tent. and I saw Bilal take the ablution water (left by Messenger of Allah), and I saw the people racing, with one another to get that ablution water. If anyone got some of it, he rubbed himself with it, and anyone who did not get any got some of the moisture from his companion's hand. I then saw Bilal take a staff and fix it in the ground, after which the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out quickly in a red mantle and led the people in two rak'ahs facing the staff, and I saw people and animals passing in front of the staff. أَنَّهُ رَأَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فِي قُبَّةٍ حَمْرَاءَ مِنْ أُدُمٍ قَالَ فَرَأَيْتُ بِلَالًا أَخْرَجَ وَضُوءَهُ فَرَأَيْتُ النَّاسَ يَبْتَدِرُونَ ذَلِكَ الْوَضُوءَ فَمَنْ أَصَابَ مِنْهُ شَيْئًا تَمَسَّحَ بِهِ وَمَنْ لَمْ يُصِبْ مِنْهُ شَيْئًا أَخَذَ مِنْ بَلَلِ يَدِ صَاحِبِهِ ثُمَّ رَأَيْتُ بِلَالًا أَخْرَجَ عَنَزَةً فَرَكَزَهَا وَخَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي حُلَّةٍ حَمْرَاءَ مُشَمِّرًا فَصَلَّى إِلَى الْعَنَزَةِ بِالنَّاسِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَرَأَيْتُ النَّاسَ وَالدَّوَابَّ يَمُرُّونَ بَيْنَ يَدَيِ الْعَنَزَةِ  

[Machine] I was with my uncle in the presence of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while he was delivering a sermon. He said, "The affairs of my Ummah will continue to be righteous as long as twelve caliphs pass." He lowered his voice with this statement, so I asked my uncle who was in front of me, "What did he say, uncle?" He replied, "O my son, all of them will be from the Quraysh."  

كُنْتُ مَعَ عَمِّي عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَهُوَ يَخْطُبُ فَقَالَ «لَا تَزَالُ أَمْرُ أُمَّتِي صَالِحًا حَتَّى يَمْضِيَ اثْنَا عَشَرَ خَلِيفَةً» وَخَفَضَ بِهَا صَوْتَهُ فَقُلْتُ لِعَمِّي وَكَانَ أَمَامِي مَا قَالَ يَا عَمِّ؟ قَالَ يَا بُنَيَّ كُلُّهُمْ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ  

[Machine] I arrived to the Prophet ﷺ while he was in the mosque in a red dome. Bilal came out and called the Adhan for the Dhuhr prayer, then he entered and performed ablution. He then brought water in a container and poured it on the ground, and we crowded around him, some of the water reached my head due to its length. Then he brought a goat and tied it between him and the Qibla, so that the woman and the donkey could pass by. Then he stood up and the Prophet ﷺ came out in a red garment, it seemed as if I was seeing the shine of his legs. We prayed Dhuhr and Asr, two units each.  

«انْتَهَيْتُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَهُوَ بِالْأَبْطَحِ فِي قُبَّةٍ مِنْ أُدُمٍ فَخَرَجَ بِلَالٌ فَأَذَّنَ بِالصَّلَاةِ صَلَاةِ الظُّهْرِ ثُمَّ دَخَلَ فَوَضَّأَهُ ثُمَّ أَخْرَجَ فَضْلَ وَضُوئِهِ فِي تَوْرٍ فَازْدَحَمْنَا عَلَيْهِ فَمِنْ مُصِيبٍ بِطُولِهِ وَمِنْ مُنْتَضَحٍ عَلَيْهِ مِنَ الْمَاءِ مَا قُدِّرَ لَهُ ثُمَّ دَخَلَ فَأَخْرَجَ عَنَزَةً فَرَكَزَهَا بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ الْقِبْلَةِ تَمُرُّ الْمَرْأَةُ وَالْحِمَارُ ثُمَّ أَقَامَ فَخَرَجَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فِي حُلَّةٍ حَمْرَاءَ كَأَنِّي أَنْظُرُ إِلَى بَرِيقِ سَاقَيْهِ فَأَمَّنَا الظُّهْرَ وَالْعَصْرَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ»  

[Machine] "I saw the Prophet ﷺ praying while a she-goat passed between his hands, and a donkey and a woman also passed in front of him."  

«رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يُصَلِّي بِالْأَبْطَحِ قَدْ رَكَزَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ عَنَزَةً يَمُرُّ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ الْحِمَارُ وَالْمَرْأَةُ»  

[Machine] Bilal used to put his fingers in his ears and turn in his ears whenever he called for prayer.  

كَانَ بِلَالٌ «إِذَا أَذَّنَ وَضَعَ أُصْبُعَيْهِ فِي أُذُنَيْهِ وَاسْتَدَارَ فِي أَذَانِهِ»  

[Machine] "I saw Bilal making the call to prayer, and I followed the movement of his mouth as he pronounced the words 'hahuna' and 'hahuna.' Sufyan turned his head to the right and left." Yahya said that Sufyan recalled hearing Hajjaj mention that he turned his head during the call to prayer. But when we met Awn, he did not mention that he turned his head."  

«رَأَيْتُ بِلَالًا أَذَّنَ فَأَتَتَبَّعُ فَاهُ هَهُنَا وَهَهُنَا وَالْتَفَتَ سُفْيَانُ يَمِينًا وَشِمَالًا» قَالَ يَحْيَى قَالَ سُفْيَانُ كَانَ حَجَّاجُ يَذْكُرُهُ عَنْ عَوْنٍ أَنَّهُ قَالَ وَاسْتَدَارَ فِي أَذَانِهِ فَلَمَّا لَقِينَا عَوْنًا لَمْ يَذْكُرْ فِيهِ اسْتَدَارَ  

[Machine] "I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ lowering his nose to the ground, just as he lowered his forehead."  

«رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يُمَكِّنُ أَنْفَهُ مِنَ الْأَرْضِ كَمَا يُمَكِّنُ جَبْهَتَهُ»  

[Machine] "The Prophet ﷺ waived the punishment for a woman who was coerced."  

«أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ دَرَأَ الْحَدَّ عَنِ امْرَأَةٍ اسْتُكْرِهَتْ»  

[Machine] We presented to the Prophet ﷺ with a camel in a red dome. He asked, "Who are you?" We replied, "We are Bani Amir." He then said, "Welcome, you are from me."  

أَتَيْنَا النَّبِيَّ ﷺ بِالْأَبْطَحِ فِي قُبَّةٍ لَهُ حَمْرَاءَ فَقَالَ «مَنْ أَنْتُمْ؟» قُلْنَا بَنُو عَامِرٍ فَقَالَ «مَرْحَبًا أَنْتُمْ مِنِّي»  

[Machine] I entered upon the Prophet ﷺ along with a man from Banu 'Amir. He asked, "Who are you?" We replied, "We are from Banu 'Amir." He said, "Welcome to you, you are from me."  

دَخَلْتُ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَا وَرَجُلٌ مِنْ بَنِي عَامِرٍ فَقَالَ «مَنْ أَنْتُمْ؟» قُلْنَا مِنْ بَنِي عَامِرٍ فَقَالَ «مَرْحَبًا بِكُمْ أَنْتُمْ مِنِّي»  

[Machine] I came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while he was in the uppermost part of a red dome, surrounded by a group from the Banu 'Amir. He asked us, "Who are you?" We replied, "We are from the Banu 'Amir." He then said, "So, I am one of you." Then, Bilal came out and provided the Messenger of Allah ﷺ with a purification. Then, he called the adhan and placed his fingers in his ears, turning his head while calling the adhan. He focused on an 'anaza (the leg bone of a sheep) and performed salah towards it. He prayed two raka'ats for Dhuhr and two raka'ats for 'Asr. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then said to us, "Bring me to Al-Madinah." He promised us rewards, so we went to Al-Madinah. We found that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had passed away. We then went to Abu Bakr and fulfilled what the Messenger of Allah ﷺ promised us.  

أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ وَهُوَ فِي الْأَبْطَحِ فِي قُبَّةٍ حَمْرَاءَ فِي نَفَرٍ مِنْ بَنِي عَامِرٍ فَقَالَ لَنَا مِمَّنْ أَنْتُمْ قُلْنَا مِنْ بَنِي عَامِرٍ قَالَ فَأَنَا مِنْكُمْ ثُمَّ خَرَجَ بِلَالٌ وَوَضَعَ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ طَهُورًا ثُمَّ أَذَّنَ وَوَضَعَ أُصْبُعَيْهِ فِي أُذُنَيْهِ وَاسْتَدَارَ فِي أَذَانِهِ ورَكَزَ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ عَنَزَةً فَصَلَّى إِلَيْهَا فَصَلَّى الظُّهْرَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَالْعَصْرَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَقَالَ لَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «ائْتُونِي بِالْمَدِينَةِ» وَوَعَدَنَا سُلْتًا فَأَتَيْنَا الْمَدِينَةَ فَوَجَدْنَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَدْ مَاتَ فَأَتَيْنَا أَبَا بَكْرٍ فَأَنْجِزْ مَا وَعَدَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ  

[Machine] "On the day of mobilization, we descended to Al-Abtah. The Messenger of Allah commanded Bilal to call for prayer, then he took the Messenger of Allah's ablution water and the people rushed towards it. He then brought a goat and tied it between him and the road."  

لَمَّا كَانَ يَوْمُ النَّفْرِ نَزَلْنَا بِالْأَبْطَحِ «فَأَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِلَالًا فَنَادَى بِالصَّلَاةِ ثُمَّ أَخْرَجَ وَضُوءَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَوَثَبَ النَّاسُ عَلَيْهِ فَمِنْ بَيْنِ نَائِلٍ وَنَاضِحٍ ثُمَّ أَخْرَجَ عَنَزَةً فَرَكَزَهَا بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ الطَّرِيقِ»  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was on a journey where they slept until the sun rose. He said, "Indeed, you were dead and Allah has revived your souls. So whoever slept and missed the prayer, let him pray it when he wakes up, and whoever forgot a prayer, let him pray it when he remembers."  

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي سَفَرِهِ الَّذِي نَامُوا فِيهِ حَتَّى طَلَعَتِ الشَّمْسُ فَقَالَ «إِنَّكُمْ كُنْتُمْ أَمْوَاتًا فَرَدَّ اللهُ أَرْوَاحَكُمْ فَمَنْ نَامَ عَنْ صَلَاةٍ فَلْيُصَلِّهَا إِذَا اسْتَيْقَظَ وَمَنْ نَسِيَ صَلَاةً فَلْيُصَلِّهَا إِذَا ذَكَرَهَا»  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When one of you wakes up from sleep, let him say: Alhamdulillahil-lathee radda feena arwaahana ba'da idh kunna amwatan."  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِذَا قَامَ أَحَدُكُمْ مِنْ مَنَامِهِ فَلْيَقُلِ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي رَدَّ فِينَا أَرْوَاحَنَا بَعْدَ إِذْ كُنَّا أَمْوَاتًا»  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said: "The world will be opened up to you until you find your homes as populated as the Kaaba." We said, "Even though we are on our religion?" He said, "Yes, and today you are better than that day." We said, "That day?" He said, "Rather, you are better today."  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «سَتُفْتَحُ عَلَيْكُمُ الدُّنْيَا حَتَّى تُنَجِّدُوا بُيُوتَكُمْ كَمَا تُنَجَّدُ الْكَعْبَةُ» قُلْنَا وَنَحْنُ عَلَى دِينِنَا قَالَ «نَعَمْ فَأَنْتُمُ الْيَوْمَ خَيْرٌ مِنْ يَوْمَئِذٍ» قُلْنَا يَوْمَئِذٍ قَالَ «بَلْ أَنْتُمُ الْيَوْمَ خَيْرٌ»  

[Machine] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed on the Day of Sacrifice, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "This is not sufficient for anyone." He said, "Indeed, we have a jatha'h." He said, "It is sufficient for you, but not for anyone after you."  

أَنْ يُصَلِّيَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَا يُجْزِئُ عَنْ أَحَدٍ» قَالَ فَإِنَّ عِنْدَنَا جَذَعَةً قَالَ «يُجْزِئُ عَنْكَ وَلَا يُجْزِئُ بَعْدَكَ»  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, may ﷺ , forbade the price of blood, the dowry of transgression, and the price of a dog.  

«نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ ثَمَنِ الدَّمِ وَمَهْرِ الْبَغِيِّ وَثَمَنِ الْكَلْبِ»  

[Machine] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited the sale of blood, the fee of the cupper, and the earning of wrongdoing."  

«نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ ثَمَنِ الدَّمِ وَمَهْرِ الْحَجَّامِ وَكَسْبِ الْبَغِيِّ»  

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ was on a journey when he heard someone saying "Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest." The Prophet ﷺ said, "The call of truth." Then the person said, "I bear witness that there is no deity but Allah," and the Prophet ﷺ said, "The word of sincerity." Then the person said, "I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah," and the Prophet ﷺ said, "Its companion has been saved from the Hellfire." Then the Prophet ﷺ said, "You will find this person with either a company of comfortable people or with a company of hunting dogs."  

كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فِي مَسِيرٍ فَسَمِعَ قَائِلًا يَقُولُ اللهُ أَكْبَرُ اللهُ أَكْبَرُ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «دَعْوَةُ الْحَقِّ» فَقَالَ أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «كَلِمَةُ الْإِخْلَاصِ» فَقَالَ أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللهِ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «خَرَجَ صَاحِبُهَا مِنَ النَّارِ» ثُمَّ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «تَجِدُونَ هَذَا صَاحِبَ مِعْزًى أَوْ صَاحِبَ كِلَابٍ يَتَصَيَّدُ»  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah sent a emissary to validate, so he would take from the rich and give to the poor. Ibn Abi Zaydah said in his narration: "I was an orphaned boy, so he gave me a small amount from it."  

بَعَثَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مُصَدِّقًا فَكَانَ يَأْخُذُ مِنَ الْأَغْنِيَاءِ وَيُعْطِي الْفُقَرَاءَ قَالَ ابْنُ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ فِي حَدِيثِهِ «وَكُنْتُ غُلَامًا يَتِيمًا فَأَعْطَانِي مِنْهَا قَلُوصًا»  

[Machine] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ appointed a collector among us who would take charity from the wealthy among us and give it to the poor. I was an orphan boy with no possessions, so he gave me a small portion of it."  

«بَعَثَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِينَا سَاعِيًا فَأَخَذَ الصَّدَقَةَ مِنْ أَغْنِيَائِنَا فَجَعَلَهَا فِي فُقَرَائِنَا وَكُنْتُ غُلَامًا يَتِيمًا لَا مَالَ لِي فَأَعْطَانِي مِنْهَا قَلُوصًا»  

[Machine] I went with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ for Hajj when I was a young boy. While we were descending in Mina, someone said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ has left, so mount your rides and push them harder." I struck my ride in the direction he went until we reached Al-Bat-ha. There, we saw a group of people, not too many, and a raised dome. Bilal came out to us with some water and fragrance. Then he called the Adhan, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out, performed Wudu (ablution), and performed an excellent Wudu. People started taking water from it and wiping their faces and heads. I turned around and did the same as they did. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and the goat were in front of me, while people were facing and turning away.  

حَجَجْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَأَنَا غُلَامٌ فَبَيْنَمَا نَحْنُ نُزُولٌ بِمِنًى قَالَ قَائِلٌ «ارْتَحَلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَأَقُومُ عَلَى رَاحِلَتِي فَأَشَدُّ عَلَيْهَا وَضَرَبْتُ نَحْوَهُ حَتَّى انْتَهَيْنَا إِلَى الْبَطْحَاءِ فَإِذَا جَمَاعَةٌ مِنَ النَّاسِ غَيْرُ كَثِيرٍ وَإِذَا قُبَّةٌ مَضْرُوبَةٌ فَخَرَجَ عَلَيْنَا بِلَالٌ وَمَعَهُ وَضُوءٌ وَعَنَزَةٌ ثُمَّ أَذَّنَ فَخَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَتَوَضَّأَ فَأَفْضَلَ فَضْلَةً فَإِذَا النَّاسُ يَأْخُذُونَ مِنْهَا فَيَمْسَحُونَ وُجُوهَهُمْ وَرُءُوسَهُمْ فَالْتَفَتَ فَفَعَلْتُ مِثْلَ مَا فَعَلُوا ثُمَّ صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَالْعَنَزَةُ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ وَالنَّاسُ مُقْبِلُونَ وَمُدْبِرُونَ»  

“Whoever sees me in a dream, it is as if he has seen me when he is awake, for Satan is not able to resemble me.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3904)  

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ رَآنِي فِي الْمَنَامِ فَكَأَنَّمَا رَآنِي فِي الْيَقَظَةِ فَإِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ لَا يَسْتَطِيعُ أَنْ يَتَمَثَّلَ بِي»  

[Machine] "I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in Al-Bathaa, and Bilal called for the prayer. The Prophet ﷺ came out of his dome made of udm (a type of fabric) and sat in its courtyard. Then he was brought some water for purification, and he performed ablution. After that, the people rushed to receive the blessings of his remaining water from his drinking and ablution. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was brought a female goat, and it was tethered in front of him, and he prayed with the people. Indeed, infants, women, sheep, and camels passed in front of him."  

«رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ بِالْبَطْحَاءِ وَقَدْ أَذَّنَ بِلَالٌ فَخَرَجَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ مِنْ قُبَّةٍ لَهُ مِنْ أُدُمٍ فَجَلَسَ بِفِنَائِهَا ثُمَّ أُتِيَ بِطَهُورٍ فَتَوَضَّأَ ثُمَّ بَادَرَ النَّاسُ إِلَى فَضْلِ وَضُوئِهِ مِنْ شَارِبٍ ومُتَوَضِئٍ ثُمَّ أُتِيَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِعَنَزَةٍ فَغُرِزَتْ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ فَصَلَّى بِالنَّاسِ وَإِنَّ الصَّبِيَّ وَالْمَرْأَةَ وَالشَّاةَ وَالْبَعِيرَ يَمُرُّونَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ»  

[Machine] I saw Bilal going out for migration, and with him was a goat. He tied it up and then stood up to give the call to prayer. He placed his index fingers in his ears and moved his head like this and like that, to the right and to the left, until he finished his adhan. Then he entered upon the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and brought out a container of water, from which he took a sip and rinsed his mouth. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out wearing a red garment, and it seemed as if I could see the whiteness of his calves beneath it. He then prayed towards the goat and the palm trunk while the camels were passing in front of him. This is the wording of the hadith of Abu Bilal.  

رَأَيْتُ بِلَالًا خَرَجَ بِالْهَاجِرَةِ وَمَعَهُ عَنَزَةٌ فَرَكَزَهَا ثُمَّ قَامَ يُؤَذِّنُ فَجَعَلَ أُصْبُعَيْهِ فِي أُذُنَيْهِ وَجَعَلَ يَقُولُ بِرَأْسِهِ هَكَذَا وهَكَذَا يَمِينًا وَشِمَالًا حَتَّى فَرَغَ مِنْ أَذَانِهِ ثُمَّ دَخَلَ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَأَخْرَجَ فَضْلَةً مِنَ الْمَاءِ فَمِنْ بَيْنِ آخِذٍ وَنَاضِحٍ ثُمَّ خَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَعَلَيْهِ حُلَّةٌ حَمْرَاءُ كَأَنِّي أَنْظُرُ إِلَى بَيَاضِ سَاقَيْهِ مِنْ تَحْتِهَا فَصَلَّى إِلَى الْعَنَزَةِ وَالظَّعْنُ يَمُرُّونَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ وَاللَّفْظُ لِحَدِيثِ أَبِي بِلَالٍ  

[Machine] "May the Messenger of Allah ﷺ curse the one who consumes usury and the one who facilitates it."  

«لَعَنَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ آكِلَ الرِّبَا وَمُوكِلَهُ»  

[Machine] He used to concentrate on Anaza in space and pray to her.  

«كَانَ يُرْكَزُ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ عَنَزَةٌ فِي الْفَضَاءِ فَيُصَلِّي إِلَيْهَا»  

[Machine] "He prayed with the Prophet ﷺ at Al-Bat'ha, and he stood between his hands with a female goat. He prayed two units of the Dhuhr prayer and two units of the Asr prayer towards it, while the donkey and the woman passed behind the goat." - This is the narration of Sulaiman ibn Harb.  

أَنَّهُ «صَلَّى مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ بِالْبَطْحَاءِ فَرَكَزَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ عَنَزَةً فَصَلَّى إِلَيْهَا الظُّهْرَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَالْعَصْرَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَكَانَ الْحِمَارُ وَالْمَرْأَةُ يَمُرُّونَ مِنْ وَرَاءِ الْعَنَزَةِ» وَاللَّفْظُ لِحَدِيثِ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ حَرْبٍ  

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ went out for migration to Al-Bathha. He performed ablution and prayed two units of Dhuhr prayer and two units of Asr prayer. In front of him was a female goat. Shu'bah said: 'Awf added on the authority of Abu Juhaifah: 'The donkey and the woman would pass behind him.' Then the people rose and began to take his hand and wipe their faces with it. So I took his hand and put it on my face, and behold, it was cooler than ice and sweeter than musk in fragrance.  

«خَرَجَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ بِالْهَاجِرَةِ إِلَى الْبَطْحَاءِ فَتَوَضَّأَ وَصَلَّى الظُّهْرَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَصَلَّى الْعَصْرَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَبَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ عَنَزَةٌ» قَالَ شُعْبَةُ وَزَادَ عَوْنٌ عَنْ أَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ قَالَ كَانَ يَمُرُّ مِنْ وَرَائِهَا الْحِمَارُ وَالْمَرْأَةُ ثُمَّ قَامَ النَّاسُ فَجَعَلُوا يَأْخُذُونَ يَدَهُ فَيَمْسَحُونَ بِهَا وُجُوهَهُمْ فَأَخَذْتُ بِيَدِهِ فَوَضَعْتُهَا عَلَى وَجْهِي فَإِذَا هِيَ أَبْرَدُ مِنَ الثَّلْجِ وَأَطْيَبُ رِيحًا مِنَ الْمِسْكِ  

[Machine] The messenger of Allah ﷺ was visited by a woman accompanied by a servant who was black. The woman said, "O messenger of Allah, I have a believing slave whom I am responsible for. Can I free her?" The messenger of Allah ﷺ asked her, "Where is Allah?" She replied, "In the heavens." He asked her, "Who am I?" She answered, "You are his messenger." He then asked her, "Do you bear witness that there is no god but Allah and that I am the messenger of Allah?" She said, "Yes." He asked her, "Do you believe in what has come from Allah?" She replied, "Yes." He said, "Free her, as she is a believer."  

أَتَتْ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ امْرَأَةٌ وَمَعَهَا جَارِيَةٌ سَوْدَاءُ فَقَالَتِ الْمَرْأَةُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّ عَلَيَّ رَقَبَةً مُؤْمِنَةً أَفَتُجِزِئُ عَنِّي هَذِهِ فَقَالَ لَهَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «أَيْنَ اللهُ؟» قَالَتْ فِي السَّمَاءِ قَالَ «فَمَنْ أَنَا؟» قَالَتْ أَنْتَ رَسُولُهُ قَالَ «أَتَشْهَدِينَ أَنَّ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَأَنِّي رَسُولُ اللهِ» قَالَتْ نَعَمْ قَالَ أَتُؤْمِنِينَ بِمَا جَاءَ مِنْ عِنْدِ اللهِ؟ قَالَتْ «نَعَمْ» قَالَ «أَعْتِقِيهَا فَإِنَّهَا مُؤْمِنَةٌ»  

[Machine] On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ , he cursed the one who consumes interest, the tattooer, and the one who makes images.  

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ «لَعَنَ آكِلَ الرِّبَا وَالْوَاشِمَةَ وَالْمُصَوِّرَ»  

[Machine] We had a young servant who used to serve us and the Prophet ﷺ forbade us from eating anything from his earnings.  

«كَانَ لَنَا غُلَامٌ حَجَّامٌ فَنَهَانَا النَّبِيُّ ﷺ أَنْ نَأْكُلَ مِنْ كَسْبِهِ شَيْئًا»  

[Machine] We descended with the Prophet ﷺ to Al-Abtah, and Bilal called for the Dhuhr prayer. He came to the Prophet ﷺ, entered a house with him, and brought a container of water from 'Udum. The Prophet ﷺ performed ablution, and some water was left in it. Then he came out, and I saw us hurriedly getting up. Bilal took a goat and milked it, then the Prophet ﷺ went out and prayed two units of prayer with us. I saw a woman and a dog passing by in front of us while we were praying.  

«نَزَلْنَا مَعَ نَبِيِّ اللهِ ﷺ بِالْأَبْطَحِ فَنَادَى بِلَالٌ بِصَلَاةِ الظُّهْرِ فَجَاءَ إِلَى نَبِيِّ اللهِ ﷺ فَدَخَلَ عَلَيْهِ فِي بَيْتٍ وَأَدْخَلَ مَعَهُ تَوْرًا مِنْ مَاءٍ مِنْ أُدُمٍ فَتَوَضَّأَ نَبِيُّ اللهِ ﷺ وَبَقِيَتْ فِيهِ بَقِيَّةٌ ثُمَّ خَرَجَ فَلَقَدْ رَأَيْتُنَا نَبْتَدِرُ ثُمَّ أَخَذَ بِلَالٌ عَنَزَةً فَرَكَزَهَا فَخَرَجَ نَبِيُّ اللهِ ﷺ فَصَلَّى بِنَا رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَلَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ الْمَرْأَةَ وَالْكَلْبَ تَمُرُّ بَيْنَ أَيْدِينَا وَنَحْنُ نُصَلِّي»  

[Machine] Bilal went out on migration, then he called the adhan, then he entered and brought a container with him that had the leftover water from the Prophet's ﷺ ablution, which he held in his hand. If he had dropped it on the ground, people would have broken it and they started taking turns drinking from it. There was a lot of suffering and some would wet their hands with the water and smear it on their faces. Then he mentioned the hadith.  

خَرَجَ بِلَالٌ بِالْهَاجِرَةِ فَأَذَّنَ ثُمَّ دَخَلَ فَخَرَجَ بِتَوْرٍ فِيهِ فَضْلُ وَضُوءِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ مُمْسَكَةٌ بِيَدِهِ لَوْ وَضَعَهُ بِالْأَرْضِ كَسَرَهُ النَّاسُ فَجَعَلُوا يَتَنَاوَلُونَ فَمُصِيبٌ مِنْهُ ومُتَنَضِّحٌ عَلَيْهِ بِالْمَاءِ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ  

[Machine] I was with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in al-Abtah, and I said, "I will observe how the prayer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ is performed today." Bilal went out and then entered again, carrying the ablution water of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ . The people rushed to get some of it, and it was enough for both the takin and the nadiq. Then he (Bilal) went in again and brought out a she-goat, which he milked. Then the Prophet ﷺ came out wearing a red garment, and I could see the whiteness of his shin from behind it. Bilal called the adhan, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ led us in prayer, with the donkey, a woman, and a dog in front of him.  

كُنْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ بِالْأَبْطَحِ فَقُلْتُ لَأَحْفَظَنَّ كَيْفَ صَلَاةُ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ الْيَوْمَ فَخَرَجَ بِلَالٌ ثُمَّ دَخَلَ فَخَرَجَ بِفَضْلِ وَضُوءِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَابْتَدَرَهُ النَّاسُ فَمِنْ بَيْنِ آخِذٍ وَنَاضِحٍ ثُمَّ دَخَلَ فَأَخْرَجَ عَنَزَةً فَرَكَزَهَا ثُمَّ خَرَجَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ وَعَلَيْهِ حُلَّةٌ حَمْرَاءُ كَأَنِّي أَنْظُرُ إِلَى بَيَاضِ سَاقَيْهِ مِنْ وَرَائِهَا فَأَقَامَ بِلَالٌ الصَّلَاةَ وَتَقَدَّمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَصَفَنَّا خَلْفَهُ فَصَلَّى بِنَا وَبَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ الْحِمَارُ وَالْمَرْأَةُ وَالْكَلْبُ  

[Machine] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ went out traveling and he continued to pray two Rak'ahs until he returned.  

«أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ خَرَجَ مُسَافِرًا فَلَمْ يَزَلْ يُصَلِّي رَكْعَتَيْنِ حَتَّى رَجَعَ»  

[Machine] "I prayed Dhuhr (noon prayer) with the Prophet ﷺ in Mina, performing two units (Rak'ahs). Al-Hadrami said, and this is a confusion, it is only a report from Sufyan and Ibn Abi Layla."  

«صَلَّيْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ الظُّهْرَ بِمِنًى رَكْعَتَيْنِ» قَالَ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ وَهَذَا وَهْمٌ إِنَّمَا هُوَ وَكِيعٌ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ وَابْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى  

[Machine] "I saw the Prophet ﷺ in a red dome made of adum. Bilal called for the prayer and the people rushed to it. Some of them took something and some of them did not. Then, Bilal brought a female goat and tied her, and the Prophet ﷺ prayed towards her while the people and animals passed in front of him."  

«رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فِي قُبَّةٍ حَمْرَاءَ مِنْ أُدُمٍ فَأَخْرَجَ بِلَالٌ فَضْلَ وَضُوئِهِ فَابْتَدَرَهُ النَّاسُ فَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ أَخَذَ شَيْئًا وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ لَمْ يَأْخُذْ ثُمَّ أَخْرَجَ بِلَالٌ عَنَزَةً فَرَكَزَهَا فَخَرَجَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فَصَلَّى إِلَيْهَا وَالنَّاسُ وَالدَّوَابُّ يَمُرُّونَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ»  

[Machine] I prayed with the Prophet ﷺ in Al-Abtah two units of the Asr prayer.  

«صَلَّيْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ بِالْأَبْطَحِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ صَلَاةَ الْعَصْرِ»  

[Machine] "I saw the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , performing two units of prayer in the afternoon."  

«رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ بِالْأَبْطَحِ صَلَّى صَلَاةَ الْعَصْرِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ»
