[Machine] Some people from the Arabs came and said, "Come with us to this man. If he is a prophet, we will be the happiest people because of him, and if he is a king, we will live under his protection." So, I went to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and informed him of what they had said. Then, they came to the Prophet's chamber and started calling, "O Muhammad! O Muhammad!" So, Allah revealed, "Indeed, those who call you from behind the chambers, most of them do not reason." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ took me by my ear and said, "Indeed, Allah has spoken the truth, O Zaid."

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded us to plant trees, so we stood up what was under them and sprinkled them with water. Then he addressed us and said, "By Allah, there is nothing that will happen until the Hour comes, but we have been informed about it on that day." Then he said, "O people, who is more worthy of you than yourselves?" We said, "Allah and His Messenger are more worthy of us than ourselves." He said, "So whoever I am his guardian, 'Ali is his guardian." Then he took his hand and said, "O Allah, be a protector to those who protect him and be an enemy to those who show enmity to him."

That was in the first book. 'Uthman ibn 'Affan passed away and two remained, and Al-Ahmaa was given permission for Al-Aris well, and what is Al-Aris well? Peace be upon you, Abdullah ibn Rawahah. Have you felt any pain or discomfort?' He said, 'Shariq is my father and brother.'"

[Machine] I entered upon the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in the mosque of Al-Madinah and he began saying, "Where is so and so, son of so and so?" He continued to look for them and send messages until they gathered around him. He said, "I am going to narrate a Hadith to you, so memorize it, comprehend it, and narrate it to others after me. Verily, Allah has chosen from His creation a special creation." Then he recited the verse, "Allah chooses from the angels messengers and from the people" (Quran 22:75). "A creation that will be admitted into Paradise. And indeed, I am the chosen one among you, the most beloved to me and the closest to me, just as Allah chose and established brotherhood between the angels. Stand up, O Abu Bakr." So Abu Bakr stood up and came close to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and sat down in front of him. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "You have a hand with me, and by it, Allah will reward you. If I were to take a close friend, I would have taken you as my close friend, but you are from me as my shirt is from my body." And he shook his shirt with his hand and then said, "Approach, O Umar." So Umar came closer, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "You used to be stern with us, O Abu Hafs, so I supplicated to Allah to strengthen this religion by you or by Abu Jahl, so Allah did it with you, and you both are the most beloved to me. You will be with me at the Pond in Paradise, third among three from this Ummah." Then he moved to the side and hugged Abu Bakr, then he called Uthman and repeated the same for him. And he continuously called him until he drew closer until his knees touched the knees of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. Then he looked at him and after that he looked at the sky and said, "Glory be to Allah the Almighty" three times. Then he looked at Uthman and found that the buttons of his garment were open, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ fastened them with his own hands and said, "Join your garments to your neck, for Allah will grant you your needs. Indeed, you have a position with the people of the heavens, that when the people drink from the Cistern, your basin will overflow with blood, and I will say, 'Who did this to you?' So the Prophet ﷺ led us in the Dhuhr prayer and they said, 'This prayer that they are offering now is more beloved to them than their children and themselves.' Jabiril then came down with these verses between Dhuhr and Asr: 'And when you are among them and lead them in prayer.' The prayer came and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered them to take up arms. So we lined up behind him in two rows, then he performed one Rak'ah and we prayed together. Then he raised his head and we all raised our heads. Then he prostrated and the Prophet ﷺ was in the same row with those behind him, and others were guarding them in prayer. When they prostrated and stood up, the others sat down and prostrated, then he turned to them and said the Salam to them, then he left. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed it twice, once in 'Usfan and once in the land of Banu Sulaym."

"I heard Mujahid narrating from Abu Ayyash Az-Zuraqi"- Shu'bah said: "He had written it for me, and I read it before him, and I heard him narrating it; rather, I even memorized it." Ibn Bashshar said: "I memorized it from the book"- "The Prophet ﷺ was drawing up ranks facing the enemy in 'Usfan when the idolaters were led by Khalid bin Al-Walid. The Prophet ﷺ led them in praying Zuhr. The idolaters said: 'They have a prayer after this that is dearer to them than their wealth and sons.' Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ led them in praying 'Asr. He divided them into two rows, behind him. He led them all in bowing, then when they raised their heads he led the row that was closest to him in prostrating, while the others remained standing. When they raised their heads from prostration, the second row prostrated, as they had already bowed with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. Then the front row moved forward, so each of them took the place of his companion. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ led them all in bowing, then when they raised their heads from bowing, the row that was closest to him prostrated while the others remained standing, then when they had finished prostrating, the others prostrated, then the Prophet ﷺ said the taslim for all of them together. [Machine] We participated in the battle with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and the polytheists met us in Uhud. On that day, Khaled Ibn Al-Walid was riding his horse. Then the Dhuhr prayer came upon us, so the caller to prayer called the adhan and the prayer was established. The polytheists thought about attacking us during the prayer, so some of them said, "This prayer is more beloved to them than their own children." They were referring to the Asr prayer. Then Jibril ﷺ came to him with the verses that mention the prayer of fear. "So when the prayer was ready, the caller to prayer called the adhan and established it. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stepped forward and we lined up behind him in two rows, and the polytheists were behind the direction of the Qiblah. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ and we all made a rukoo' (bowing) and we made a sajdah (prostration), and the row behind us made a sajdah, and the row behind them stood up. When they finished their prostration, the row behind them made a prostration, and the polytheists were confused among themselves." Abu Ayyash said, "He also prayed with us in the land of Banu Sulaym."

[Machine] On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ , in the prayer of fear, he prayed with the people. They all performed the bowing (ruku') together, and then they all raised their heads. Some of them prostrated with him, while others stood up. When they raised their heads, they delayed, and others came and prostrated with him, and others stood up. When they raised their heads, they delayed, and others came and prostrated in their place. Then he performed the second unit of prayer similar to the first unit. Then he sat down and those behind him also sat down, while others remained standing. Then he performed the tasleem (saying of peace) and the one behind him also performed the tasleem. Then they all stood up and those who had prostrated in their place joined them. Then they prostrated in their place and then performed the tasleem.

If he says them in the evening, he will have a similar recompense till the morning. The version of Hammad says: A man saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in a dream and said: Messenger of Allah! AbuAyyash is relating such and such on your authority. He said: AbuAyyash has spoken the truth. Abu Dawud said: Isma'il b. Ja'far, Musa al-Zim'i and 'Adb Allah b. Ja'far transmitted it from Suhail, from his father on the authority of Ibn 'A'ish. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 5077)

This was mentioned in the first book, then it was said by his tongue: Abu Bakr, the truthful, is the successor of the Messenger of Allah, the strong and trustworthy. He was weak in his body but strong in the matters of Allah. This was mentioned in the first book, then it was said by his tongue: He spoke the truth, the truth, three times. The middle one is Abdullah, Umar, the Commander of the Believers, who was not afraid of any blame in matters concerning Allah. He prevented people from eating while the strong among them denied the weak. This was mentioned in the first book, then it was said by his tongue: He spoke the truth, the truth, the truth. Then Uthman, the Commander of the Believers, was merciful to the believers. Two caliphs came after him and then there was disagreement among the people. They had no system and it was allowed for them to violate the prohibitions. The Hour approached and people started consuming each other."

[Machine] Zaid bin Saanah went out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ one day from the chambers, and Ali bin Abi Talib was with him. So a man came to him on his riding animal, like a Bedouin, and said, "O Messenger of Allah, the people of Busr have embraced Islam and entered into Islam, and I had informed them that if they embraced Islam, sustenance would come to them in abundance. But they have been afflicted with a year of drought, hardship, and scarcity of rain. So I fear, O Messenger of Allah, that they may leave Islam when they had entered into it due to greed. So if you see fit to send something to them that would assist them, then do so." So he looked at a man who was beside him and who appeared to be Ali. He said, "O Messenger of Allah, there is nothing left of mine." Zaid bin Saanah approached him and said, "O Muhammad, can you sell me a certain known amount of dates from the wall of the people of so-and-so to a specified date?" So he said, "No, O Jew, but I will sell you a certain known amount of dates to a specified date, and do not refer to it as the wall of the people of so-and-so." I said, "Yes." So he pledged allegiance to me and I released my anxiety. I gave him eighty Mithqal of gold in specified dates to a specified date, and the man took them and said, "Take this to them and assist them with it." Zaid bin Saanah said, "When it was a day or two before the appointed date, I went to him and took hold of the collar of his garment and his cloak, and I looked at him sternly and said, 'Will you not fulfill my right, O Muhammad?' By Allah, I did not recognize you when I looked at your face. His eyes were spinning in his head like planets, and then he hit me with his eye and said, 'O enemy of Allah, you speak to the Messenger of Allah with what I have not heard, and you do with him what I do not see. By the One who sent him with the truth, were it not for what I fear, I would strike your head with my sword.' And the Messenger of Allah looked at Umar in calmness and patience and then said, 'O Umar, he and I were more in need of something other than what you ordered me for good performance of duty and what you ordered him for good following. Take him away, O Umar, and give him his right and increase him twenty Sa' of dates in place of your frightening him.'" Zaid said, "So Umar took me away and gave me my right and increased me twenty Sa' of dates. So I said, 'What is this increase, O Umar?' He said, 'The Messenger of Allah has ordered me to increase you with what I frightened you with.' I said, 'And do you recognize me, O Umar?' He said, 'No, who are you?' I said, 'I am Zaid bin Saanah.'" Zaid said, "Al-Habr (Abu Bakr) said, 'By Allah, you have done with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ what I would not have done, and you have said to him what I would not have said.' I said, 'O Abu Bakr, whatever sign of prophethood was there, I recognized it in the face of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ when I looked at him, except for two signs that I did not tell him about. His forbearance overcame his ignorance, and no ignorance overcame his forbearance. For I had informed him about them, so I bear witness to you, O Umar, that I have accepted Allah as my Lord, and Islam as my religion, and Muhammad as the Messenger, and I bear witness to you that half of my wealth, and indeed it is the majority of it, shall be given in charity for the Ummah of Muhammad." Umar said, "Or some among them, as you cannot handle giving it all." I said, "Or some among them." So Umar and Zaid went back to the Messenger of Allah and Zaid said, "I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger, and I believe in him and confirm him and pledge allegiance to him. And I have witnessed many scenes along with him." Then Zaid was martyred in the Battle of Tabuk, facing the enemy, may Allah have mercy on Zaid.
