12. Chapter of Zay (Male)
[Machine] I heard Abdullah bin Ubayy ibn Salul saying, "Do not spend on those who are with the Messenger of Allah until they disperse." So I went to the Prophet ﷺ and informed him, and Ibn Ubayy came to him and swore that he did not say that. Then the companions of the Prophet ﷺ blamed me, so I went to my house and slept. He said, "It seemed as if he was distraught." So the Prophet ﷺ sent for me, and I came to him or he said: "I came to the Prophet ﷺ." He said, "Indeed, Allah has confirmed your statement and excused you." And he recited to me the following verses: "They are the ones who say, 'Do not spend on those who are with the Messenger of Allah'." And he recited these two verses until he concluded them.
[Machine] A man from the People of the Book came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "O Aba Al-Qasim, you (Muslims) claim that the people of paradise eat and drink, but if one eats and drinks, he will have a need (to relieve himself)." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, "The need of one of them is a perspiration that flows from his skin, and when his stomach is full, it stops."
[Machine] A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "You claim that the people of Paradise eat and drink." The Prophet replied, "By Him in whose hand is my soul, a man from among them will be given the strength of a hundred men in eating, drinking, sexual intercourse, and desire." The man said, "Indeed, the one who eats and drinks must have a need." The Prophet said, "He perspires, so his stomach is filled as a result."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said, "Verily, a man from the people of Paradise will be given the strength of a hundred men in eating, drinking, desire, and sexual intercourse." So a man from among the Jews said, "If one eats and drinks, then he will have the need." The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said, "The need of one of them will be a sweat that comes out of his skin, and when his stomach is filled, it (the sweat) will stop."
[Machine] "A man from the People of the Book said, 'O Abu al-Qasim, it is claimed that the people of Paradise eat and drink.' He (Abu al-Qasim) said, 'Yes, by the One in whose hand is my soul, a person among them will be given the strength of a hundred men in eating, drinking, intercourse, and desire.' He (the man) said, 'So if someone eats, will they feel the need?' He (Abu al-Qasim) said, 'The need of one of them is like the fragrance of musk, so it is concealed within his stomach.'"
[Machine] A man from the People of the Book came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "O Abu Al-Qasim, it is believed that the people of Paradise eat and drink." He replied, "Yes, by the One in Whose hand is my soul, a man will be given the strength of a hundred men in eating, drinking, sexual relations, and desires."
[Machine] I was sitting with the Prophet ﷺ when a Jewish man said to him, "Do you believe that there is food, drink, and spouses in paradise?" The Prophet ﷺ replied, "Yes." The Jewish man said, "We find it delicious and pleasant." The Prophet ﷺ then asked him, "Do you believe in the musk tree and find it in your scripture?" He replied, "Yes." The Prophet ﷺ said, "If urine and seminal fluid are a bad odor that flows from their private parts to their feet, it is like musk."
[Machine] There was a man who used to visit the Prophet ﷺ, so he made a contract for him and placed it in a well belonging to a man from the Ansar. Then two angels came to him, one sitting near his head and the other near his feet. One of them asked, "Do you know what his ailment is?" He replied, "It is so-and-so who made a contract for him and threw it in the well of so-and-so from the Ansar. If a man is sent and takes the contract, he will find the water to have turned yellow." He said, "So a man was sent, he took the contract, unraveled it, and the man was cured. After that, the man used to visit the Prophet ﷺ and he did not mention anything to him nor did the Prophet admonish him for doing that."
[Machine] While I was with the Prophet ﷺ , a man from the Jews called Tha'laba ibn al-Harith approached. He greeted Muhammad, saying "Peace be upon you, O Muhammad," to which he responded "And upon you."
