[Machine] "A man died on the day of the Battle of Khaybar and someone informed the Prophet ﷺ about it. Upon hearing this, the Prophet ﷺ said, 'Pray for your companion.' This news affected the people greatly and their faces changed. Then, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Your companion has struggled in the way of Allah.' He looked into his belongings and found a Jewish pearl that he had embraced. By Allah, I do not think it is worth even two dirhams."  

مَاتَ رَجُلٌ يَوْمَ خَيْبَرَ فَذَكَرَ ذَلِكَ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ «صَلُّوا عَلَى صَاحِبِكُمْ» فَاشْتَدَّ ذَلِكَ عَلَى النَّاسِ وَتَغَيَّرَتْ وُجُوهَهُمْ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِنَّ صَاحِبَكُمْ قَدْ غَلَّ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ» فَنَظَرَ فِي مَتَاعِهِ فَوَجَدَ خَرَزًا مِنْ خَرَزِ يَهُودٍ قَدْ غَلَّهُ وَاللهُ مَا أَظُنُّهُ يُسَاوِي دِرْهَمَيْنِ  

[Machine] Al-Qa'nabi narrated from Malik that Abu Yazid Al-Qaratisi narrated from Abdullah ibn Abd al-Hakam that Bakr ibn Sahl narrated from Abdullah ibn Yusuf who said: "I am Malik, from Abdullah ibn Abi Bakr, from his father, from Abdullah ibn Amr ibn Uthman, from Ibn Abi Amrah Al-Ansari, from Zaid ibn Khalid Al-Juhani, that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Shall I not inform you of the best of the martyrs? The one who brings his testimony before being asked or before being informed of his testimony.'"  

ثنا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ عَنْ مَالِكٍ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو يَزِيدَ الْقَرَاطِيسِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْحَكَمِ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ قَالَا أَنَا مَالِكٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عَمْرَةَ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «أَلَا أُخْبِرُكُمْ بِخَيْرِ الشُّهَدَاءِ؟ الَّذِي يَأْتِي بِشَهَادَتِهِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُسْأَلَهَا أَوْ يُخْبِرُ بِشَهَادَتِهِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُسْأَلَهَا»  

“The best of witnesses is the one who gives his testimony before he is asked for it.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2364)  

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «خَيْرُ الشُّهُودِ مَنْ أَدَّى شَهَادَتَهُ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُسْأَلَ عَنْهَا»  

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "The best testimony is that which the witness gives before he is asked for it."  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «خَيْرُ الشَّهَادَةِ مَا شَهِدَ بِهَا صَاحِبُهَا قَبْلَ أَنْ يُسْأَلَهَا»  

[Machine] "That the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said: 'Shall I not inform you of the best of martyrs? Those who bear witness to their faith before they are asked to do so.'"  

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «أَلَا أُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِخَيْرِ الشُّهَدَاءِ؟ الَّذِينَ يَبْدَءُونَ بِشَهَادَتِهِمْ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُسْأَلُوهَا»  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Hospitality is for three days, and whatever exceeds that is considered charity."  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «الضِّيَافَةُ ثَلَاثَةُ أَيَّامٍ فَمَا زَادَ فَهُوَ صَدَقَةٌ»
