12. Chapter of Zay (Male)
[Machine] I was sitting with Abdullah ibn Ubayy when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed by with some of his companions. Abdullah ibn Ubayy said, "If we return to Madinah, the one who is honorable will surely expel the one who is lowly from it." So I went to Sa'd ibn 'Ubadah and informed him about this. He then went to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and told him about it. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent a messenger to Abdullah ibn Ubayy, who swore by Allah that he did not say such a thing. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ looked at Sa'd ibn 'Ubadah and said, "O Messenger of Allah, it was the young boy Zaid ibn Arqam who informed me of this." Sa'd then came and took my hand and we both went to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ . I swore by Allah, the One who revealed the light and prophethood to you, that he indeed said it. Prophet Muhammad ﷺ turned away from him and Allah revealed the Ayah: "When the hypocrites come to you…" until the end of the Surah.
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said, "Whoever says, 'There is no god but Allah' sincerely, shall enter Paradise." And the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , also said, "His sincerity means that he abstains from what Allah has forbidden him."
“The Companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ‘O Messenger of Allah, what are these sacrifices?’ He said: ‘The Sunnah of your father Ibrahim.’ They said: ‘What is there for us in them, O Messenger of Allah?’ He said: ‘For every hair, one merit.’ They said: ‘What about wool, O Messenger of Allah?’ He said: ‘For every hair of wool, one merit.’” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3127)
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do not condemn my knowledgeable and monotheistic servants to either Paradise or Hellfire as sinners until I am the one who judges them based on my knowledge of them. And do not burden them with what they cannot bear, and do not hold the servants accountable except to their Lord."
