[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "O Allah, I entrust them both to You and the righteously believing people." It was said to Ubaydullah ibn Ziyad, "Indeed, Zaid ibn Arqam said such and such." He said, "That is an old man whose sanity has gone."  

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «اللهُمَّ أَسْتَوْدِعُكَهُما وَصَالِحَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ» فَقِيلَ لِعُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ إِنَّ زَيْدَ بْنَ أَرْقَمَ قَالَ كَذَا وَكَذَا فَقَالَ ذَلِكَ شَيْخٌ قَدْ ذَهَبَ عَقْلُهُ  

[Machine] Regarding exchange, this person says, "Ask this person." And this person says, "Ask this person, for he is better than me and knows both of them say that." So, I asked them, and they said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited selling paper for gold as a debt."  

عَنِ الصَّرْفِ فَهَذَا يَقُولُ سَلْ هَذَا وَهَذَا يَقُولُ سَلْ هَذَا فَإِنَّهُ خَيْرٌ مِنِّي وَأَعْلَمُ كِلَاهُمَا يَقُولُ ذَلِكَ فَسَأَلْتُهُمَا فَقَالَا «نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ بَيْعِ الْوَرِقِ بِالذَّهَبِ دَيْنًا»
