[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "O Allah, I entrust them both to You and the righteously believing people." It was said to Ubaydullah ibn Ziyad, "Indeed, Zaid ibn Arqam said such and such." He said, "That is an old man whose sanity has gone."  

الطبراني:٥٠٣٧ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أُسَيْدٍ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ بَزِيغٍ الْجَزَّارُ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ الْأَصْيَاغِيُّ ثنا يُوسُفُ بْنُ صُهَيْبٍ عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ قَالَ لَمَّا أُصِيبَ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ؓ قَامَ زَيْدُ بْنُ أَرْقَمَ إِلَى بَابِ الْمَسْجِدِ فَقَالَ أَفَعَلْتُمُوهَا أَشْهَدُ أَنِّي

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «اللهُمَّ أَسْتَوْدِعُكَهُما وَصَالِحَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ» فَقِيلَ لِعُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ إِنَّ زَيْدَ بْنَ أَرْقَمَ قَالَ كَذَا وَكَذَا فَقَالَ ذَلِكَ شَيْخٌ قَدْ ذَهَبَ عَقْلُهُ
