12.151 [Machine] 'Ubaidullah bin Abdullah bin 'Utba, on the authority of Zaid bin Khalid'

١٢۔١٥١ عُبَيْدٌ اللهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ

"It rained during the time of the Prophet ﷺ and he said: 'Have you nt heard what your Lord said this night? He said: I have never sent down any blessing upon My slaves but some of them become disbelievers thereby, saying: 'We have been given rain by such and such a star.' As for the one who believes in Me and praises Me for giving rain, that is the one who believes in Me and disbelieves in the stars. But the one who says: 'We have been given rain by such and such a star' he has disbelieved in Me and believed in the stars." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1525)   

الطبراني:٥٢١٥ – حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمَدِينِيُّ ثنا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ كَيْسَانَ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ قَالَ

مُطِرْنَا عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَلَمَّا أَصْبَحَ قَالَ هَلْ تَدْرُونَ مَاذَا قَالَ رَبُّكُمُ اللَّيْلَةَ؟ قَالَ مَا أَنْعَمْتُ عَلَى عِبَادِي مِنْ نِعْمَةٍ إِلَّا أَصْبَحَ فَرِيقٌ مِنْهُمْ بِهَا كَافِرُونَ يَقُولُونَ مُطِرْنَا بِنَوْءِ كَذَا وَكَذَا وَأَمَّا مَنْ آمَنَ بِي وَحَمِدَنِي عَلَى سُقْيَايَ فَذَاكَ الَّذِي آمَنَ بِي وَكَفَرَ بِالْكَوْكَبِ وَأَمَّا مَنْ قَالَ مُطِرْنَا بِنَوْءِ كَذَا وَكَذَا فَذَاكَ الَّذِي آمَنَ بِالْكَوْكَبِ وَكَفَرَ بِي

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ distributed sheep among his companions, and he gave me a young goat. I asked him, "O Messenger of Allah, should I sacrifice it?" As it is a young goat from the goats. He said, "Yes." So, I sacrificed it.  

الطبراني:٥٢١٧ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الدِّمَشْقِيُّ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الْوَهْبِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ طُعْمَةَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ قَالَ

قَسَّمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَلَى أَصْحَابِهِ غَنَمًا فَأَعْطَانِي عَتُودًا جَذَعًا فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أُضَحِّي بِهَا؟ فَإِنَّهَا جَذَعَةٌ مِنَ الْمَعْزِ فَقَالَ «نَعَمْ» فَضَحَّيْتُ بِهَا

[Machine] "That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ distributed sacrificial animals among his companions, and he gave me a camel. I found it to be skinny, so I returned to him and said, 'O Messenger of Allah, it is skinny.' He said, 'Sacrifice it.'"  

الطبراني:٥٢١٨ – حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنُ رِشْدِينَ الْمِصْرِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ طُعْمَةَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَسَّمَ فِي أَصْحَابِهِ ضَحَايَا فَأَعْطَانِي عَتُودًا فَوَجَدْتُهُ جَذَعًا فَرَجَعْتُ إِلَيْهِ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ هُوَ جَذَعٌ فَقَالَ «ضَحِّ بِهِ»

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ distributed sacrificial animals among his Companions. He gave me a kid (of less than a year). I took it to him and said: This is a kid. He said: Sacrifice it. so I sacrificed it. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 2798)   

الطبراني:٥٢١٩ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فَضَاءٍ الْجَوْهَرِيُّ الْبَصْرِيُّ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ خَلَفٍ أَبُو سَلَمَةَ الْجُوبَارِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ طُعْمَةَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ قَالَ

قَسَّمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي أَصْحَابِهِ غَنَمًا لِلضَّحَايَا فَأَعْطَانِي عَتُودًا جَذَعًا فَرَجَعْتُ إِلَيْهِ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّهُ جَذَعٌ فَقَالَ «ضَحِّ بِهِ» فَضَحَّيْتُ بِهِ
