Jabir b. 'Abdullah related that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, and he related like this.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ

The similitude of mine and that of the Apostles; the rest of the hadith is the same.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَثَلِي وَمَثَلُ النَّبِيِّينَ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ

The Prophet ﷺ borrowed. He then transmitted the rest of the tradition to the same effect.

اسْتَعَارَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say. . . He then mentioned the tradition to the same effect.

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

The tradition mentioned above has also been transmitted by Al-Bara’ (b. ‘Azib) from the prophet (May peace be upon him) through a different chain of narrators is a similar way.

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ

"I came to the Messenger of Allah" and he mentioned something similar.

أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ

"I came to the Messenger of Allah" and he mentioned something similar. (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4176)

أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: He then mentioned the rest of the tradition to the same effect as mentioned by Sufyan. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4540)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَ الْحَدِيثِ

the Prophet ﷺ said, and the ˹narrator˺ mentioned similarly.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ

[AI] About the Prophet ﷺ , he said, "So he mentioned the like of it."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ

[AI] Abu Jahl mentioned its meaning.

أَبُو جَهْلٍ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] A man asked the Prophet ﷺ, so he mentioned its meaning.

أَنَّ رَجُلًا سَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say. . . He then mentioned the tradition to the same effect. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4492)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺعَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ يَقُولُ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said and then he mentioned the Hadith.

قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: He then mentioned the rest of the tradition to the same effect as mentioned by Sufyan. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4540)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺفَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

The above mentioned tradition has also been transmitted in a similar manner by Ibn 'Abbas from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1491)

يَقُولُقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ

I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say. . . He then mentioned the tradition to the same effect. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4492)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] I heard the Prophet, ﷺ , say on the pulpit and he mentioned its meaning.

سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ يَقُولُ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] "A man from the Ansar mentioned his story."

رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: He then mentioned the rest of the tradition to the same effect as mentioned by Sufyan. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4540)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say. . . He then mentioned the tradition to the same effect. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4492)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] A man came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and mentioned his meaning.

جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said during the Farewell Pilgrimage and mentioned its significance.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, and he mentioned something similar to it.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "So he mentioned something similar to it."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ

[AI] "He heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, so he mentioned something similar to it."

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ

I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say. . . He then mentioned the tradition to the same effect. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4492)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ فَذَكَرَهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "So he mentioned its likeness."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: He then mentioned the rest of the tradition to the same effect as mentioned by Sufyan. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4540)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] "About the Prophet, ﷺ , he mentioned along with us."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] I said, "O Messenger of Allah, then he mentioned its meaning."

قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, and he mentioned its meaning without attributing it to anyone.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ وَلَمْيُسْنِدْهُ

[AI] About tumult, so he mentioned its meaning.

عَنْ هَيَّاجٍ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] The passage translates to: "About the Prophet ﷺ , he mentioned something along those lines."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said and mentioned something similar to it.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ

I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say. . . He then mentioned the tradition to the same effect. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4492)

سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] The Prophet of Allah (may ﷺ ) said about the Dajjal (Antichrist) and mentioned something similar to him.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي الدَّجَّالِ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ

The above mentioned tradition has also been transmitted in a similar manner by Ibn 'Abbas from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1491)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ يَا بِلَالُ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ

I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say. . . He then mentioned the tradition to the same effect. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4492)

كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said and mentioned something similar.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ

[AI] O Messenger of Allah, I have seen men who mentioned its meaning.

يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنِّي رَأَيْتُ رِجَالًا فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say. . . He then mentioned the tradition to the same effect. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4492)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ قَالَ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , delivered a speech and mentioned its meaning to us.

خَطَبَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said and mentioned the like of it.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ

[AI] "He asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , and he mentioned something similar to it."

أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ

[AI] "About Ayyub, he mentioned something along with us."

عَنْ أَيُّوبَ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say. . . He then mentioned the tradition to the same effect. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4492)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] "While the Messenger of Allah ﷺ mentioned its meaning with us."

بَيْنَمَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said in my house, so he mentioned its meaning.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي بَيْتِي فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

The above mentioned tradition has also been transmitted in a similar manner by Ibn 'Abbas from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1491)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Witr (the nightly odd numbered prayer) is a right (that it should be performed)." Then the narrated something similar.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «الْوِتْرُ حَقٌّ» فَذَكَرَهُ بِنَحْوِهِ
