"Before the Hour there shall be Fitan like a portion of the dark night. Morning will come upon a man as a believer, who will be a disbeliever in the evening, and evening will come upon a believer, who will be a disbeliever in the morning, people will sell their religion for goods of the world." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 2197)
I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: Straighten your rows, or Allah would create dissension amongst you. (Using translation from Muslim 436a)
“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to straighten the rows until he made them like a spear or an arrow-shaft. Once he saw a man’s chest (sticking out) so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ‘Make your rows straight or Allah will create division among you.’” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 994)
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to recite at the two 'Ids (festivals) and on Friday, "Glorify the name of your most high Lord." (87) and "Has the story of the overwhelming reached you?" (88) He said: When a festival ('Id) and a Friday coincided, he recited them both (at the two prayers). (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1122)
[Machine] The sun was setting on the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , so he prayed. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to perform rukoo' (bowing) and sujood (prostration). Hajjaj said, "Our prayers are like his prayers."
The Prophet ﷺ said: about a man who had (unlawful) intercourse with his wife's slave girl: If she made her lawful for him, he will be flogged one hundred lashes; if she did not make her lawful for him, I shall stone him. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4459)
[Machine] It was reported to him that a man had accused his wife of adultery, so he said, "I will decide the case according to the law of the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ . If she has committed adultery, I will flog you one hundred lashes, and if she has not committed adultery, I will stone you to death." He later found out that his wife had indeed committed adultery, so he flogged her one hundred times.
[Machine] "I have heard a reliable news regarding this from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ . If you had given permission, I would have punished him with 100 lashes, and if you had not given permission, I would have stoned him." The people approached her and said, "Your husband is to be stoned." She replied, "Say that I had given him permission." So she admitted it and her husband was given punishment of 100 lashes."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The best of people are my generation, then those who follow them, then those who follow them, then those who follow them. Then there will come a people whose testimony will precede their oath and their oath will precede their testimony."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said: "Verily, the example of the Muslims is like that of a single body. If one part of it hurts, the rest of the body will feel its pain."
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said from the pulpit, "Whoever does not thank the little, does not thank the much. And whoever does not thank people, does not thank Allah. To speak of Allah's blessings is gratitude, and to abandon them is disbelief. The congregation is mercy, and division is punishment."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever does not thank the little, does not thank the much. And whoever does not thank the people, does not thank Allah. Speaking about the blessings of Allah is gratitude, and abandoning them is disbelief. The congregation is mercy, and division is punishment." Abu Umamah Al-Bahili asked, "What is the greatest congregation?" A man asked, "What is the greatest congregation?" Abu Umamah said, "This verse is in Surah An-Nur: 'So if they turn away - then indeed, upon him is only the [duty of] notification [of the message], and upon you is the [duty of] Heavylifting. And if you turn back [to aggression], then upon you is only the [duty of] notification [of the message].'" (Quran 24:54)
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Bring your children together, meaning bring harmony among them."
"The Messenger of Allah said: 'Treat your children fairly, treat your children fairly.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 3687)
9.30 [Machine] Osama bin Shareek
I came to the Prophet ﷺ, and his companions we as if they birds were perched on their heads (i.e. they were still and attentive).
[Machine] I came to the Prophet ﷺ with his companions, and it was as if birds were perched on their heads. I greeted him and sat down. Then the Bedouins came and asked him, "O Messenger of Allah, shall we seek medical treatment?" He replied, "Yes, seek medical treatment, for Allah has not made any disease without providing a remedy for it, except for one disease, old age." Umar said, "When Usamah reached old age, he used to ask, 'Do you see any cure for me now?' They also asked him about certain matters, whether there was any difficulty in doing them or not. He said, 'O slaves of Allah, Allah has not placed any difficulty in anything except when a Muslim wrongfully takes another Muslim's property as a loan. That is a difficulty and a cause of his destruction.' They asked, 'What is the best thing given to people, O Messenger of Allah?' He replied, 'Good character.'"
The Prophet ﷺ encouraged to use remedies and treatments for ailments
that the Prophet ﷺ said, "Use remedies or servants of Allah, for Allah ﷻ does not send an ailment except that he sends down a cure along with it except for death or old age."
[Machine] An Arab man came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "O Messenger of Allah, who is the best among people?" He replied, "The one with the best character." Then he asked, "O Messenger of Allah, do you seek treatment?" He replied, "Seek treatment, for indeed Allah has not sent down a disease except that He has also sent down its cure. It is known to those who know it and unknown to those who do not know it."
9.31 [Machine] Amr ibn Al-Harith ibn Al-Mustaliq
Abu Bakr and 'Umar gave him the glad tidings that the Messenger of Allah had said: "Whoever would like to recite the Qur'an as fresh as when it was revealed, let him recite it like Ibn Umm 'Abd.'" (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 138)
[Machine] Ishaq ibn al-Mustaliq said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not leave behind anything except his weapon, a white mule, and a land that he made as charity."
9.32 [Machine] Al-Harith ibn Dirar al-Khuza'i
[Machine] I came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and he invited me to Islam, so I entered it and affirmed it. He then invited me to give zakat, so I affirmed it and said, "O Messenger of Allah, let me go back to my people and invite them to Islam and the payment of zakat. Whoever responds to me, I will collect their zakat and send it to you, O Messenger of Allah, through a messenger, so that what I have collected from zakat will reach you." When Al-Harith collected the zakat from those who responded to him and reached the destination the Messenger of Allah ﷺ wanted it to be sent to, he detained the messenger. When the messenger did not return, Al-Harith thought that he had committed an offense in the sight of Allah and His Messenger. So he called for the weapons of his people and said to them, "The Messenger of Allah had appointed a time for me when he would send his messenger to collect what I had of zakat. The Prophet's successor is not to blame for this, and I do not see any reason for detaining the Messenger of Allah except for an offense. So set out and we will meet with the Messenger of Allah, and the Messenger of Allah sent Al-Walid bin 'Uqba to Al-Harith to collect what he had collected from zakat. When Al-Walid had traveled a part of the way, he turned back and came to the Messenger of Allah and said, "O Messenger of Allah, Al-Harith has withheld the zakat and wanted to kill me." So the Messenger of Allah sent a force to Al-Harith, and when they reached him, they separated from Madinah to encounter him, and when they came close to Al-Harith, they said, "This is Al-Harith." When he saw them, he said, "To whom have you been sent?" They replied, "To you." He said, "Why?" They said, "The Messenger of Allah has sent Al-Walid bin 'Uqba to you. He claimed that you withheld the zakat and wanted to kill him." He said, "No, by the One who sent Muhammad with the truth, I have not committed any offense, and he did not come to me. I only set out when the Messenger's messenger detained me. I feared that it might be an offense in the sight of Allah and His Messenger." Then the verse of the Qur'an was revealed: "O you who have believed, if there comes to you a disobedient one with information, investigate, lest you harm a people out of ignorance and become, over what you have done, regretful" [al-Hujurat: 6] until to this point: "This is but bounty from Allah and favor. And Allah is Knowing and Wise." [al-Hujurat: 8].

9.33 [Machine] The Surgeon and Abu Sinan Al-Ashjaiyin
[Machine] About her, he did not impose anything on her and did not enter upon her. He was asked about her for a month, and he did not say anything about her. Then they asked him, and he said, "I will give my opinion about her. If I make a mistake, it is from me and from Satan. But if I am right, it is from Allah. She has one of her women as charity, and she has inheritance, and she has a waiting period. Then a brave man stood up and said, "I testify that you have judged in her case according to the judgment of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ regarding the fear of a child of a slave woman." He said, "Come and be a witness for you." So the surgeon and Abu Sinan, two brave men, testified for him.
[Machine] In a similar situation, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ approved the marriage of a man from among us to a woman from the Bani Ru'as tribe, known as Birwa bint Washiq. The man left and entered a well, but unfortunately he fell and died, and he had not paid the dowry for her. So they came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and he said, "How is her dowry?" They replied, "No more than a camel and no less than a piece of cloth." She also has the right to inheritance and is obligated to observe the waiting period (iddah).
[Machine] "That if one enters into marriage with her without specifying a dowry for her, and Abdullah was asked about her, he said, 'The dowry is one of her women, and she does not have a house or a share, and she is entitled to inheritance, and she has a waiting period.' So Abu Sinan Al-Ashja'i stood up in a gathering of brave men and they said, 'We bear witness that you have judged in her case with the judgment of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in the case of Barwa' bint Washiq.'"
[Machine] Ibn Abi Shaybah narrated to us, Abdullah ibn Muhammad mentioned the hadith.
"She should have the dowry, and she has to observe the 'Iddah, and she may inherit." Ma'qil bin Sinan said: "I heard the Prophet pass the same judgment concerning Birwa' bint Washiq." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 3356)
[Machine] "About Abdullah, similar to the narration of Firas."
"I think that she should have a dowry like that of her peers no less, with no injustice and she may inherit from him and she has to observe the 'Iddah." Ma'qil bin Sinan Al-Ashja'i testified: "The Messenger of Allah passed a similar judgment concerning Birwa' bint Washiq." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 3355)
9.34 [Machine] Qais bin Abi Gharza
[Machine] "We used to sell fabrics in the city, and we called ourselves merchants. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to us and gave us a name that was better than what we used to call ourselves. He said, 'O merchants, this type of transaction is accompanied by idle talk and swearing. Purify it with charity.'"
9.35 [Machine] Al-Bara' bin 'Azib
[Machine] I heard the Prophet ﷺ saying on the day of Hunayn, "I am the Prophet, there is no falsehood in me. I am the son of Abdul Muttalib."
"The Salat of Messenger of Allah (was such that) when he bowed, and when he raised his head from bowing, and when he prostrated, and when he raised his head from prostration it (all) was nearly the same." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 279)
[Machine] "That the Prophet of Allah, ﷺ , used to diligently pray the Fajr and Maghrib prayers. Abu Abdur-Rahman said it is not narrated from the Prophet, ﷺ , that he specifically emphasized the Maghrib prayer except in this narration. And from Ali, his statement is."
When Messenger of Allah ﷺ went forth from Mecca to Medina, Suraqa b. Malik b. Ju'shum pursued him. Messenger of Allah ﷺ invoked curse upon him, and his horse sank (in the desert). He (Suraqa) said: (Messenger of Allah), invoke blessings for me and I will do no harm to you. He (the Holy Prophet) then supplicated Allah. (At that time) he (the Holy Prophet) felt thirsty, and they happened to pass by a shepherd. Abu Bakr Siddiq said: I took hold of a bowl and milked some milk into it for Messenger of Allah ﷺ and gave it to him. He drank it and I was pleased. (Using translation from Muslim 2009b)
[Machine] The translation of the passage into English is as follows:
"When the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , wanted to sleep, he would lie on his right side and say, 'O Allah, protect me from Your punishment on the day when You gather Your servants.' Abu Ishaq said, and another person said, 'On the day when You resurrect Your servants.'"
Al-Bara' reported that Messenger of Allah ﷺ was of medium height, having broad shoulders, with his hair hanging down on the lobes of his ears. He put on a red mantle over him, and never have I seen anyone more handsome than Allah's Apostle ﷺ. (Using translation from Muslim 2337a)
I heard al-Bara' as saying that a man recited al-Kahf when an animal was there in the house and it began to take fright. And as he looked around, he found a cloud overshadowing it. He mentioned that to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. Upon this he said: O so and so, recite on (the surah) as- Sakina descends at the (recitation of the Qur'an) or on account (of the recitation) of the Qur'an. (Using translation from Muslim 795b)
[Machine] On the day of Hunayn, it was reported from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ . Al-Bara' said, "But the Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not flee. There were people throwing rocks at us, and when we attacked them, they were exposed, so we overpowered them and seized their goods as spoils. They faced us with arrows. I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on his white riding animal, while Abu Sufyan ibn al-Harith was holding its reins and saying, 'I am the Prophet, there is no falsehood. I am the son of Abdul-Muttalib.'"
That whenever the Prophet ﷺ would return from a trip, he would say: “(We are) Returning, repenting, worshipping, and to our Lord directing the praise (Ā’ibūna tā’būna ʿābidūna lirabbinā ḥāmidūn).” (Using translation from Tirmidhī 3440)
[Machine] I said to Al-Bara', the man carrying the burden of the polytheists, "Is he among those who threw their hands to ruin?" He replied, "No, because Allah sent His Messenger ﷺ and He said, 'Fight in the cause of Allah, you are only responsible for yourself.' (Quran 4:84) That is only about the expenses."
[Machine] It was said to al-Baraa': Was the face of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ like iron, resembling a sword? He replied, "No, rather it was like the moon."
[Machine] We were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on a journey, and we stopped at Ghadeer Khumm. Then the call for prayer was made, announcing the congregational prayer. A place under two trees was cleared for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to pray Dhuhr. He took the hand of Ali and said, "Do you not know that I have more authority over the believers than they have over themselves?" They replied, "Yes, indeed." He said, "Do you not know that I have more authority over every believer than they have over themselves?" They responded, "Yes, indeed." Then, he held Ali's hand and said, "Whoever has me as their master, Ali is also their master. O Allah, be a friend to whoever befriends him and an enemy to whoever fights against him." Umar met him afterward and said, "Congratulations, O son of Abu Talib! You have become the master of every believer, male and female, both in the morning and the evening."
This tradition has also been narrated on the authority of ‘A’ishah through a different chain. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 99)
The first (act) with which we started our day (the day of 'Id-ul Adha) was that we offered prayer. We then returned and sacrificed the animals and he who did that in fact adhered to our Sunnah (practice). And he who slaughtered the (animal on that day before the 'Id prayer), for him (the slaughtering of animal was directed to the acquiring of) meat for his family, and there is nothing of the sort of sacrifice in it. It was Abu Burda b. Niyar who had slaughtered (the animal before the 'Id prayer). He said: I have a small lamb, of less than one year, but better than that of more than a year. Thereupon Messenger of Allah ﷺ qaid: Sacrifice it, but it will not suffice (as a sacrifice) for anyone after you. (Using translation from Muslim 1961e)
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said about the grave: When he is asked, he will recognize his Lord, and he will say something that I do not remember. That is what Allah says: "Allah will keep firm those who believe, with the word that stands firm in this worldly life and in the Hereafter." [Ibrahim 27]
[Machine] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed by some people from the Ansar (Muslims of Medina) and said, 'If you are capable, spread peace, assist the oppressed, and guide those who are astray.'"
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed by a gathering of the Ansar and said, "If you refuse to sit, guide the way, respond to greetings, and aid the oppressed."
[Machine] He heard Al-Bara'ah saying about this verse: "The believers who sit at home are not equal to those who strive in the cause of Allah." The Prophet ﷺ commanded Zaid to write it down, so he brought a shoulder blade and wrote it. Then, Ibn Umm Maktum complained to him about his difficult situation, so the verse was revealed: "The believers who sit at home are not equal to those who strive in the cause of Allah except for the disabled." (Quran 4:95)
[Machine] "A man in innocence, and he jokingly with him. You have turned away from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while you were his companions." Al-Baraa said, "I bear witness that on that day, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not flee. I have seen the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on the day the trench was dug, and he was carrying soil with the people, and he was reciting the verse of Ibn Rawaha. O Allah, if it were not for You, we would not have been guided, nor would we have been charitable, nor would we have prayed. So send down tranquility upon us and make our feet firm if we encounter our enemy. Indeed, the highest enemy has transgressed against us, and if they desire a dispute, we have shown ourselves ready to respond."

[Machine] I saw the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , raising his hands when he started the prayer.
Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "It is a from the duties for the Muslims, that they take a bath (ghusl) on Friday, and that each of them wear some perfume he has with this family. If he does not find any, then water is a perfume for him."
