[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I have been given five things. I was sent to the red and black people. The earth has been made for me pure (i.e., a place of purification) and a place of worship. The spoils of war have been made lawful for me, and they were not made lawful for those before me. I have been given victory through fear for a distance of one month's journey. I have been granted intercession, and every Prophet was granted intercession. And I have kept my intercession until the Day of Resurrection, and it will be for those of my nation who did not associate anything in worship with Allah.""
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, and he mentioned its meaning without attributing it to anyone.
[Machine] I entered upon the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , while he was using the tooth stick (siwak). He had placed one end of the siwak on his tongue and he was moving it upwards. Hammād described that it appeared as if he was raising the siwak. Hammād said that Ghaylān described to us that he would move the siwak up and down [in his mouth].
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ used to invoke these supplications: "O Allah, forgive me for my sins, my ignorance, and my excessive behavior in my affairs, and for what You know better about me. O Allah, forgive me for my seriousness, my joking, my mistakes, my deliberate sins, and all of that which I have with me."
Who fights that the word of Allah be exalted fights in the way of Allah. (Using translation from Muslim 1904d)
[Machine] Abu Musa asked a man, or a man came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was sitting, leaning back. He said, "What is fighting in the cause of Allah? For indeed, one of us fights out of zeal and anger, so does he still get reward?" The Messenger of Allah ﷺ raised his head towards him, and if he had not been standing or sitting down, the doubt of Zuhair would not have made him raise his head towards him. So he said, "Whoever fights so that the word of Allah becomes supreme, then he is fighting in the cause of Allah."
"Some people from among the Ash'aris came to me and said: 'Go with us to the Messenger of Allah [SAW], for we have something to ask him.' So I went with them, and they said: 'O Messenger of Allah, use us to do your work.'" Abu Musa said: "I apologized for what they said, and I told him that I did not know what they were going to ask. He believed me and excused me, and said: 'We do not appoint for our work anyone who asks for that.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 5382)
that when Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent him and Muʿadh bin Jabal to Yemen, he said to them, "Facilitate things for the people (treat the people in the most agreeable way), and do not make things difficult for them, and give them glad tidings, and let them not have aversion (i.e. to make the people hate good deeds) and you should both work in cooperation and mutual understanding, obey each other." Abu Musa said, "O Messenger of Allah ﷺ! We are in a land in which a drink named Al Bit' is prepared from honey, and another drink named Al-Mizr is prepared from barley." On that, Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "All intoxicants (i.e. all alcoholic drinks) are prohibited." (Using translation from Bukhārī 6124)
[Machine] We were waiting at Uthman's door for permission. Then I heard Abu Musa Al-Ash'ari say: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The destruction of my Ummah is by the plundering and epidemic." We asked, "O Messenger of Allah, we know what plundering is, but what is the epidemic?" He said, "It is the enemy's stabbing among you by the jinn in each testimony." Ziyad said: I did not understand his statement, so I asked the leader of the living (i.e., Uthman) who was with them. He replied, "He spoke the truth, Abu Musa informed us of that."
[Machine] We went out in a group of ten from the tribe of Tha'labah, and suddenly we were with Abu Musa. Then he began to talk about the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , saying, "O Allah, make the death of my Ummah be in the plague, so that it is mentioned."
[Machine] We were with the Prophet ﷺ on a journey when we descended in a valley on the ground. The people began to raise their voices with takbeer (saying Allahu Akbar). The Prophet said, "O people, be gentle with yourselves, for you are not calling upon a deaf or absent (God), but rather you are calling upon a hearing and near (God)." Then he called me, and I was close to him, and he said, "O Abdullah bin Qais, shall I not inform you of a phrase from the treasures of Paradise?" I said, "Yes." He said, "There is no power or strength except with Allah."
[Machine] "The Prophet ﷺ said, 'No marriage is valid without the presence of a guardian.'"
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "A soul said: I heard Ghunaim saying: I heard Abu Musa saying: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Any woman who wears perfume and passes by a group of people so that they perceive her fragrance, she is an adulteress.'"
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "A soul told me that it had heard a rich person saying, 'I heard Abu Musa saying that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Every eye commits adultery."
[Machine] We came to the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , to carry him. He said, "No, by Allah, I will not carry you." So when we returned, the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , sent three measures of barley to us. He said, "So I said, the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , swore that he would not carry us, but then he carried us. So we came to him and said, 'O Messenger of Allah, indeed you swore not to carry us, but you carried us.' He said, 'I did not carry you, but Allah carried you. And by Allah, I do not swear an oath on my right hand, but if I see any other oath better than it, I fulfill it.'" Abu 'Abdur-Rahman said, "My father said, 'Abu As-Saleel Dhirayb ibn Nuqayr said...'"
[Machine] Abu Musa sought permission from Umar three times and was not granted permission, so he returned and met Umar who asked why he had come back. Abu Musa replied, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'Whoever seeks permission three times and is not granted permission, let him return.' Umar said, 'You will come to them with evidence, or I will surely take action.' Abu Musa then went to his people's gathering and he called upon Allah the Almighty, so I said, 'I am with you,' and they testified in his favor, so Umar left him."
The Prophet [SAW] said: "If two Muslims confront each other with swords, and one kills the other, they will both be in Hell." It was said: "O Messenger of Allah, (we understand about) the killer, but what about the one who is killed?" He said: "He wanted to kill his companion." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4118)
The Prophet ﷺ said: This people of mine is one to which mercy is shown. It will have no punishment in the next world, but its punishment in this world will be trials, earthquakes and being killed. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4278)
[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: "Indeed, when a Muslim servant falls ill or travels, the rewards for his actions are written for him just as he used to do while he was healthy. Muhammad ﷺ said, meaning Ibn Yazid, Allah has written for him the equivalent of what he used to do while he was healthy."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When one of you passes by a market, gathering, or mosque with money in his possession, he should hold onto it firmly three times." Abu Musa said, "We continued to face difficulties until some of us used it to straighten the faces of others."
[Machine] We were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in a battle. We quickly captured the enemies and acquired great spoils. When we approached the land of Ruzdaq, one of us started to shout loudly. The Prophet ﷺ said, "O people!" and he gestured with his hand, describing Yazid as if he was pointing to him. The Prophet ﷺ said, "O people! You are not calling a deaf or an absent one. The one you are calling is right here among you." Then the Prophet ﷺ said, "O Abdullah bin Qais or O Abu Musa, shall I inform you of a statement that is one of the treasures of Paradise?" I said, "Yes, O Messenger of Allah." He said, "Say: there is no power or strength except with Allah."
[Machine] I said to a man, "Come, let us make this day for Allah, may He be glorified. By Allah, it is as if the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, witnesses this." So he delivered a sermon and said, "Among them are those who say, 'Come, let us make this day for Allah, may He be glorified.'" He continued to say it until I wished that the earth would swallow me.
[Machine] Narrated by the Prophet ﷺ , he said: "Verily, this heart is like a feather carried by the wind on a plain. It sets it upright sometimes on its back and sometimes on its belly." My father said, "Isma'il did not lift it from Al-Jurairy."
[Machine] Abihi said: My father said, "If you had witnessed us while we were with our Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and the sky rained on us, you would have thought that our scent was the scent of sheep. Indeed, our clothing was made of wool."
[Machine] O my son, if you had seen us while we were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and it started raining, you would have noticed the scent of sheep from us.
[Machine] Abu Musa prayed with his companions while he was traveling from Mecca to Medina. He prayed two Rak'ahs of Isha and then stood up and recited one hundred verses from Surah An-Nisa in one Rak'ah. Some people criticized him for this, so he said, "I did not intend to place my feet where the Messenger of Allah ﷺ placed his feet, and to do what the Messenger of Allah ﷺ did."
This hadith has been transmitted on the authority of Abu Bakr b. Abu Musa b. Qais who, on the authority of his father, reported the Apostle ﷺ to have said that there would be a tent made of a pearl whose height towards the sky would be sixty miles. In each corner, there would be a family of the believer, out of sight for the others. (Using translation from Muslim 2838c)
[Machine] "Qatadah narrated to us and he mentioned something similar to it."
