سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ فَذَكَرَهُ  

ذِكْرُ إِثْبَاتِ الْجَنَّةِ لِلْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ رِضْوَانُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ وَقَدْ فَعَلَ

ibnhibban:6966 – Aḥmad b. ʿAlī b. al-Muthanná > Muḥammad b. ʿAbdullāh b. Numayr from my father

“I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: ‘The (funeral) prayer should be offered for a child.’” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1507)   

ابن حبّان:٦٩٦٦ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمُثَنَّى حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْجُعْفِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ سَابِطٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ

أَنَّهُ قَالَ «مَنْ سَرَّهُ أَنْ يَنْظُرَ إِلَى رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ فَلْيَنْظُرْ إِلَى الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُهُ»
