He said that then I came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and he said to me, "O ʿUqbah b. ʿĀmir! Control your tongue, cry over your sins, and let your house be big enough for you."

He said that then I met the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and he said to me, "O ʿUqbah b. ʿĀmir! Shall I not teach you the Sūrahs that such were not revealed in the Torah, nor in the Psalms, and not in the Gospel? Do not let a night go by without reciting 'Say, He is Allah, the One Absolutely Unique.' (Ikhlāṣ 112:1), and 'Say, I seek refuge from the Lord of the daybreak.' (Falaq 113:1), and 'Say, I seek refuge from the Lord of humankind.'
