The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Shall I not tell you of the best tribe of the Ansar? Banun-Najjar, then Banu ʿAbdul Ashhal, then Banul-Harith bin al-Khazraj. then Banu Saʿidah.ʿ and he said: ʿIn each tribe of the Ansar there is goodness.” (Using translation from Aḥmad 392)
[Machine] Narrated by the Prophet ﷺ , the best of the Ansar (Helpers) are the Banu Najjar, then the Banu Abd al-Ashhal, then the Banu Harith ibn Khazraj, then the Banu Sa'ida. He then said, "And in every group of the Ansar, there is goodness." Sa'd ibn Ubada said, "Make me the fourth of four and saddle my mule for me." His cousin said, "Do you intend to go back on the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ? It is enough for you to be the fourth of four."
The Prophet ﷺ said, "The best of the Ansar's families (homes) are those of Banu An-Najjar and then (those of) Banu ʿAbdul Ash-hal, then (those of) Banu Al-Harith bin Al-Khazraj and then (those of) Banu Saʿida; nevertheless, there is good in all the families (houses) of the Ansar." On this, Saʿd (bin Ubada) said, "I see that the Prophet ﷺ has preferred some people to us." Somebody said (to him), "No, but he has given you superiority to many." (Hadith similar to above with a different chain) (Using translation from Bukhārī 3789)
[Machine] He heard the Prophet ﷺ saying, "The best of residences are those of the Ansar." So, he mentioned the hadith.
[Machine] From Abu Usaid or Abu Asid ibn Thabit, Sufyan doubted that the Prophet ﷺ said, "Eat olive oil and apply it as an ointment, for it is from a blessed tree."
That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Eat olive and use its oil, for indeed it is a blessed tree." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 1851)
[Machine] Abu Usaid used to say, "I hit on the Day of Badr the sword of Ibn 'Aidh Al-Marzubani. When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded the people to give what was in their hands, I approached him until I threw it in the collection bin." He said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not refuse anything that he was asked for." Al-Arqam ibn Abi Al-Arqam recognized it and asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ for it, so he gave it to him. He said, "It was read about Ya'qub in the military expeditions of his father, or it was heard from him." Ibn Ishaq said, "Abdullah ibn Abi Bakr narrated to me, he said: Some of Banu Sa'idah narrated to me from Abu Usaid Malik ibn Rabiah, he said: I hit the sword of Bani 'Aidh Al-Marzubani on the Day of Badr. When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded the people to give what was in their hands of the collection bin, I approached him until I threw it in the collection bin. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not refuse anything that he was asked for." Al-Arqam ibn Abi Al-Arqam recognized it and asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ for it, so he gave it to him.
"The Messenger of Allah said: 'When anyone of you enters the mosque, let him send peace upon the prophet, then let him say: "Allahummaftah li abwaba rahmatika (O Allah, open to me the gates of Your mercy)." And when he leaves, let him say: "Allahumma inni as'aluka min fadlika. (O Allah, I ask of you from Your bounty)." (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 772)
[Machine] "Indeed, the Prophet ﷺ said: When you hear a narration about me, if your hearts recognize it and your hair softens, and you find it close to you, then I am the most knowledgeable about it. However, if you hear a narration about me, and your hearts reject it and your hair stands on end, and you find it far from you, then I am the furthest from it."
[Machine] On the authority of Abu Usaid, companion of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , who was present at the Battle of Badr and was their guardian. He said, Abu Usaid said, "While I was sitting with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , a man from the Ansar came to him and said, 'O Messenger of Allah, is there any act of goodness that I can do for my parents after their death to benefit them?' He said, 'Yes, four characteristics: Praying for them, seeking forgiveness for them, fulfilling their promises, and honoring their friends. And maintaining family ties that do not exist except through them. These are the acts of goodness that remain for you to do for them after their death.'"
[Machine] "When we met with the enemy on the day of Badr, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'On that day, when they deceive you, that is, when they try to deceive you, throw them with stones.' And I saw him saying, 'And compete with each other in throwing stones.'"
[Machine] From his father, they both said that the Prophet ﷺ passed by us along with his companions, so we went out with him until we reached a wall called Ash-Shawt, and we ended up between two walls. We sat between them, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Sit down." He went in, and the Juniyah (a kind of milk with dates) was brought. I secluded myself in the house of Ummaymah bint Al-Nu'man ibn Sharahil, and she had a wet nurse with her. When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered upon her, he said, "Give me yourself." She said, "Does a queen give herself to a magician?" She said, "I seek refuge in Allah from you." He said, "You have sought refuge in the One who gives refuge." Then he came out to us and said, "O Abu Usaid, clothe her and reunite her with her family." And besides Abu Ahmad, a woman from the tribe of Al-Jun was called Aminah.

I asked, "What do you say about a person who takes a bunch of grapes, squeezes it, and drinks its juice?" He said, "There is no harm in that." When I left, he said, "The drinking is only prohibited if it fermented."

I went out with 'Ubaidullah bin ʿAdi Al-Khaiyar. When we reached Hims (i.e. a town in Syria), 'Ubaidullah bin ʿAdi said (to me), "Would you like to see Wahshi so that we may ask him about the killing of Hamza?" I replied, "Yes." Wahshi used to live in Hims. We enquired about him and somebody said to us, "He is that in the shade of his palace, as if he were a full water skin." So we went up to him, and when we were at a short distance from him, we greeted him and he greeted us in return. 'Ubaidullah was wearing his turban and Wahshi could not see except his eyes and feet. 'Ubaidullah said, "O Wahshi! Do you know me?" Wahshi looked at him and then said, "No, by Allah! But I know that ʿAdi bin Al-Khiyar married a woman called Um Qital, the daughter of Abu Al-Is, and she delivered a boy for him at Mecca, and I looked for a wet nurse for that child. (Once) I carried that child along with his mother and then I handed him over to her, and your feet resemble that child's feet." Then 'Ubaidullah uncovered his face and said (to Wahshi), "Will you tell us (the story of) the killing of Hamza?" Wahshi replied "Yes, Hamza killed Tuaima bin ʿAdi bin Al-Khaiyar at Badr (battle) so my master, Jubair bin Mutʿim said to me, 'If you kill Hamza in revenge for my uncle, then you will be set free." When the people set out (for the battle of Uhud) in the year of 'Ainain ..'Ainain is a mountain near the mountain of Uhud, and between it and Uhud there is a valley.. I went out with the people for the battle. When the army aligned for the fight, Siba' came out and said, 'Is there any (Muslim) to accept my challenge to a duel?' Hamza bin ʿAbdul Muttalib came out and said, 'O Siba'. O Ibn Um Anmar, the one who circumcises other ladies! Do you challenge Allah and His Apostle?' Then Hamza attacked and killed him, causing him to be non-extant like the bygone yesterday. I hid myself under a rock, and when he (i.e. Hamza) came near me, I threw my spear at him, driving it into his umbilicus so that it came out through his buttocks, causing him to die. When all the people returned to Mecca, I too returned with them. I stayed in (Mecca) till Islam spread in it (i.e. Mecca). Then I left for Taif, and when the people (of Taif) sent their messengers to Messenger of Allah ﷺ, I was told that the Prophet ﷺ did not harm the messengers; So I too went out with them till I reached Messenger of Allah ﷺ. When he saw me, he said, 'Are you Wahshi?' I said, 'Yes.' He said, 'Was it you who killed Hamza?' I replied, 'What happened is what you have been told of.' He said, 'Can you hide your face from me?' So I went out when Messenger of Allah ﷺ died, and Musailamah Al-Kadhdhab appeared (claiming to be a prophet). I said, 'I will go out to Musailamah so that I may kill him, and make amends for killing Hamza. So I went out with the people (to fight Musailamah and his followers) and then famous events took place concerning that battle. Suddenly I saw a man (i.e. Musailamah) standing near a gap in a wall. He looked like an ash-colored camel and his hair was dishevelled. So I threw my spear at him, driving it into his chest in between his breasts till it passed out through his shoulders, and then an Ansari man attacked him and struck him on the head with a sword. ʿAbdullah bin ʿUmar said, 'A slave girl on the roof of a house said: Alas! The chief of the believers (i.e. Musailamah) has been killed by a black slave." (Using translation from Bukhārī 4072)

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Good character is a virtue, while bad character is a calamity. Righteousness increases one's lifespan, and charity prevents a miserable death."

[Machine] "O Messenger of Allah, indeed, part of my repentance to Allah is to leave my people's home and reside with you, and also to give a portion of my wealth as charity for the sake of Allah and His Messenger." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "One-third will suffice for you."

[Machine] He said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to us in Quba' and sat in the part of the mosque (where dates were stored), and people gathered around him. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked for water and was given, so he drank. I was on his right side and I was the youngest among the people. He gave me the container, so I drank and kept in mind that he performed the prayer with us that day while wearing his sandals, and he did not take them off.

6.252 [Machine] Zainab: A Woman Named Abdullah
"The Messenger of Allah said to women: 'Give charity, even from women: 'Give charity, even from your jewelry. 'Abdullah was not a wealthy man and she said to him: 'Can I spend my charity on you and on my brother's children who are orphans? 'Abdullah said: 'Ask the Messenger of Allah about that.' She said: So I went to the Messenger of Allah, and at his door I found a woman from among the Ansar who was also called Zainab, and she was asking about the same matter as I was. Bilal came out to us and we said to him: Go to the Messenger of Allah and ask him about that, but do not tell him who we are. He went to the Messenger of Allah and he said:' Who are they?' He said: Zainab.' He said: 'Which Zainab?" He said: 'Zainab Al-Ansariyyah.' Abdullah and Zainab Al-Ansariyyah.' He said: 'Yes, they will have two rewards, the reward for upholding the ties of kinship and the reward dfor giving charity."' (Using translation from Nasāʾī 2583)

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , commanded us to give charity, and he said, "O women, give charity." Then he mentioned the narration.

6.253 [Machine] The biography of Umm Abdullah, about the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)
[Machine] About Ra'itah, the wife of Abdullah. She was a weaver and used to sell her products and give in charity. One day, she said to Abdullah, "You and our child have occupied me so much that I am unable to give in charity with you." He replied, "What I dislike is if there is no reward for doing so. So, they asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about this matter. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to her, "You will have the reward for whatever you spend on them."
[Machine] So she used to spend on him and on her son from her own earnings. She said, "You and your son have occupied me from giving charity, so I am not able to give anything with you." Abdullah bin Mas'ud said to her, "By Allah, I do not love that there is no reward for you if you do so." So she went to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "O Messenger of Allah, I am a woman with a trade, and I sell from it, and neither me, nor my son, nor my husband have any other income, and they have kept me from giving charity. So I am not able to give anything. Is there any reward for what I have spent?" The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to her, "Spend on them, for indeed there is a reward for what you have spent on them."

[Machine] "I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ pelting the Jamratul-'Aqabah (a stone pillar) from the bottom of the valley on the day of sacrifice, and he was saying, 'O people, let none of you kill another, nor harm one another. And when you throw stones, throw them like pebbles. He threw seven pebbles and did not stop. Behind him, there was a man who was covering him.' I asked, 'Who is this?' They said, 'Al-Fadl bin Abbas.'"

[Machine] "From his mother, who had pledged allegiance to the Prophet ﷺ , she said: I heard the Messenger of Allah saying while throwing pebbles at the Jamrah in the middle of the valley: O people, do not kill one another. And when you stone the Jamrah, throw it with similar stones to those used for pelting."
