This hadith has been narrated from Abu Juhaim Ansari by another chain of transmitters.

سَمِعْتَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ فَذَكَرَ بِمَعْنَى حَدِيثِ مَالِكٍ

I went to his house in San'a' and he offered me nuts grown in his house to eat. And his brother said: I heard Mu'awiya b. Abu Sufyan saying that he had heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying, and then he made a mention (of a hadith) like one mentioned above.

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to give me a grant, and he mentioned its meaning.

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُعْطِينِي الْعَطَاءَ، فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ.

the Prophet ﷺ said, and the ˹narrator˺ mentioned similarly.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ

I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and ˹the narrator˺ mentioned something similar.

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ mention something similar to it.

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ

[AI] That a man came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and mentioned with him.

أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَتَى رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] A man asked the Prophet ﷺ, so he mentioned its meaning.

أَنَّ رَجُلًا سَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] I heard Abu Wail mentioning him.

سَمِعْتُ أَبَا وَائِلٍ فَذَكَرَهُ

I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say. . . He then mentioned the tradition to the same effect. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4492)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺعَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ يَقُولُ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] "Abu Hurayrah narrated the hadith."

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ

[AI] I heard Abu Hurairah mention it.

سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ فَذَكَرَهُ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: He then mentioned the rest of the tradition to the same effect as mentioned by Sufyan. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4540)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺفَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say. . . He then mentioned the tradition to the same effect. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4492)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] This passage in Arabic means: "Abu Hurayrah mentioned its meaning with us."

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "When one of you completes his prayer, then let him mention its meaning."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ إِذَا قَضَى أَحَدُكُمْ صَلَاتَهُ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed the Dhuhr prayer and mentioned its meaning.

صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ صَلَاةَ الظُّهْرِ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] A man came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and mentioned his meaning.

جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said during the Farewell Pilgrimage and mentioned its significance.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, and he mentioned the meaning of it. He said, "Then I heard a sound in front of me, meaning a voice."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ قَالَ فَسَمِعْتُ خَشْفًا أَمَامِي يَعْنِي صَوْتًا

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying: "Whoever we assign to a task and he mentions its purpose along with us."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَنْ اسْتَعْمَلْنَاهُ عَلَى عَمَلٍ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Zuhri with the same chain of transmitters. (Using translation from Muslim 2556c)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] "About the Prophet, ﷺ , he mentioned along with us."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, so he mentioned something similar to it.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] I said, "O Messenger of Allah, then he mentioned its meaning."

قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] I heard Al-Ash'ari mentioning something similar.

سَمِعْتُ الْأَشْعَرِيَّ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, and he mentioned its meaning without attributing it to anyone.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ وَلَمْيُسْنِدْهُ

[AI] About tumult, so he mentioned its meaning.

عَنْ هَيَّاجٍ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] The passage translates to: "About the Prophet ﷺ , he mentioned something along those lines."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said and mentioned something similar to it.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ

[AI] The meaning of the passage is: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ had a whip, so he mentioned its significance."

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ قَدْ شَمِطَ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] I heard Al-Sadiq Al-Masdooq ﷺ mention its meaning.

سَمِعْتُ الصَّادِقَ الْمَصْدُوقَ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] I heard Ibrahim Al-Taimi mention its meaning.

سَمِعْتُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ التَّيْمِيَّ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said and mentioned something similar.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ

[AI] O Messenger of Allah, I have seen men who mentioned its meaning.

يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنِّي رَأَيْتُ رِجَالًا فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ قَالَ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , delivered a speech and mentioned its meaning to us.

خَطَبَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said, so he mentioned the same.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ

أتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ… فَذَكَرَ مَعْناهُ

[AI] "About Ayyub, he mentioned something along with us."

عَنْ أَيُّوبَ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] About Aisha, he mentioned his intention.

عَنْ عَائِشَةَ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] "While the Messenger of Allah ﷺ mentioned its meaning with us."

بَيْنَمَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said in my house, so he mentioned its meaning.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي بَيْتِي فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ
