[Machine] He heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Fasting during a journey is not considered an act of righteousness."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ لَيْسَ مِنَ الْبِرِّ الصِّيَامُ فِي السَّفَرِ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَيْسَ مِنَ الْبِرِّ الصِّيَامُ فِي السَّفَرِ
‘It is not an act of righteousness to fast while traveling.”
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لَيْسَ مِنَ الْبِرِّ الصِّيَامُ فِي السَّفَرِ
"It is not an act of righteousness to fast while traveling."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لَيْسَ مِنَ الْبِرِّ الصِّيَامُ فِي السَّفَرِ
The Prophet ﷺ saw a man who had been put in the shade and saw a crowd of people around him (in the course of a journey). He said: Fasting while on journey is not part of righteousness. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 2407)
