“I fought a man and killed him, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ awarded me his spoils.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2836)
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ saw a man eating with his left hand, so he said, "eat with your right hand." The man replied, "I cannot." The Prophet ﷺ said, "you are not able?" The man replied, "no."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked, "Who killed this?" They said, "Ibn Al-Akwa." So he said to him, "Plunder it."
We used to offer the Friday prayer along with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and return (to our homes) while no shade of the walls was seen (at that time). (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1085)
[Machine] Our household stayed with Abu Bakr As-Siddiq, and the Prophet ﷺ commanded him over us.
[Machine] "Our slogan was the night we spent in Hawazin with Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered him to lead us, so he united the tribes and I personally killed seven people from the Abyat tribe that night."
[Machine] He said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying to a man known as Busru ibn Raa'i al-Ir, who had a paralyzed right hand, 'Eat with your right hand.' The man replied, 'I am unable to.' The Prophet ﷺ said, 'You will not be able to.' Then the man's right hand connected to his mouth and he was able to eat with it." Abu al-Nadr said in his narration, "Ibn Raa'i al-Ir was one of the bravest."
He who draws the sword against us is not of us. (Using translation from Muslim 99)
[Machine] I was sitting with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ when a man sneezed. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "May Allah have mercy on you." Then he sneezed again and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The man has a cold."
[Machine] "We went out with Abu Bakr ibn Abi Quhafa, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded us saying, 'We have gone for a raid, so visit Ghazara.' When we approached the water, Abu Bakr commanded us and we saddled the horses. Then, after the Fajr prayer, Abu Bakr commanded us and we launched the surprise attack. We killed those who we had to kill by the water,' said Salamah. Then, I looked at a group of people - men, women, and children - heading towards the mountain while I was chasing them in their tracks. I was afraid they would reach the mountain ahead of me, so I shot an arrow that landed between them and the mountain. I brought them and drove them towards Abu Bakr, until I met him by the water. With them was a woman from Ghazara, with a hideous mark on her face, and she had her daughter with her, who was among the most beautiful of the Arabs,' he said. Abu Bakr then married her to me,' Salamah said. However, I did not remove her veil until I arrived in Madinah. Then, when I untied her, I didn't remove her veil,' he said. Then, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ met me in the marketplace and said to me, 'Salamah, give me the woman.' I said, 'O Messenger of Allah, by Allah, she has pleased me greatly, and I did not remove her veil.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ remained silent and left me. Then, the next morning, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ met me in the marketplace and said, 'Salamah, give me the woman for the sake of Allah, your father.' I said, 'O Messenger of Allah, by Allah, she has pleased me greatly, and she is for you, O Messenger of Allah.' So, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent her to the people of Makkah, who had Muslim captives in their hands. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ransomed those captives with this woman."

"On the day of Khaibar, my brother fought fiercely alongside the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, then his sword recoiled upon him and killed him. The Companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, complaining about that, said: 'A man has died by his own weapon.'" Salamah said: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ returned from Khaibar and I said: 'O Messenger of Allah, do you permit me to recite some lines of Rajaz verse to you?' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ gave him permission but 'Umar bin Al-Khattab, may Allah be pleased with him, said: "Think what you are saying." "I said: 'By Allah, if Allah had not guided us we would not have been guided We would not have given in charity nor prayed' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'You have spoken the truth.' (I continued:) 'Send down tranquility upon us, And make us steadfast when we meet the enemy. For the idolators have transgressed against us.' When I completed my Rajaz verse, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Who said that?' I said: 'My brother.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'May Allah have mercy on him.' I said: 'O Messenger of Allah, some people are afraid to offer the (funeral) prayer for him, and they are saying that he is a man who died by his own weapon.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'He died striving as a Mujahid.'" Ibn Shihab said: "Then I asked a son of Salamah bin Al-Akwa', and he narrated a similar report to me from his father, except that he said: 'When I said: Some people are afraid to offer the (funeral) prayer for him, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: They lied. He died striving as Mujahid, and he will have a twofold reward, and he gestured with two of his fingers.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 3150)

[Machine] Narrated by Jabir ibn Abdullah and Salamah ibn Al-Akwa, two companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , they said: "We were in a battle when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to us and said: 'Verily, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Enjoy yourselves…'"

[Machine] "The Prophet ﷺ ordered a man who embraced Islam to give the call to prayer among the people on the day of Ashura. Whoever was fasting, let him complete his fast, and whoever had eaten, let him not eat anything and complete his fast."

[Machine] I pledged to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ along with the people in Hudaybiyah, then I sat aside. When the people dispersed from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , he said, "O son of Al-Akwa, don't you give the pledge?" I replied, "I have already given the pledge, O Messenger of Allah." He also asked, "Why did you give the pledge?" I answered, "For loyalty and obedience until death."

[Machine] I was sitting with the Prophet ﷺ when a funeral passed by. He asked, "Did the deceased leave behind any debt?" They said, "No." He asked, "Did he leave behind anything?" They said, "No." He then performed the funeral prayer for the deceased. Then another funeral passed by and he asked the same questions, to which they replied the same answers. He then performed the funeral prayer for the second deceased. After that, a third funeral passed by and he asked the same questions. They answered, "Yes, three dinars." He then gestured with his fingers three times. Finally, they brought the third deceased and he asked the same questions. They answered, "Yes." He asked, "Did he leave behind anything?" They said, "No." He said, "Pray upon your companion." Then, a man from the Ansar said, "He had a debt on me, O Messenger of Allah." The Prophet ﷺ then performed the funeral prayer for him.

[Machine] Aamir was a poet who descended saying,
"Allah, if it weren't for You, we wouldn't have been guided,
nor would we have been charitable or prayed,
so forgive us for what we have done,
and keep us steadfast if we encounter hardship.
Bestow tranquility upon us when we are in distress.
Indeed, when we are called, we respond,
and through the calling, our calamities are lifted."
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked, "Who said this?"
They replied, "Ibn Al-Akwa."
The Prophet ﷺ said, "May Allah have mercy on him."
Then a man said, "You have done us a great favor, O Messenger of Allah."
The Prophet ﷺ said, "He will be rewarded twice for it."
Then a man struck a Jew from Bani Il with a whip,
and the tip of the sword hit his knee, causing a fly to fall into his eye.
People said, "His work was in vain, so he killed himself."
The man said, "I went to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ after he arrived in Madinah, and he was in the masjid. I said, 'O Messenger of Allah, they claim that Aamir's work was in vain.' He asked, 'Who says that?' I said, 'Some of the Ansar, including so and so.' He said, 'Whoever says that is lying. He will be rewarded twice for it. He was a striving and fighting Arab who walked among us, and he increased us in honor.'"

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ commanded his caller on the day of Ashura that whoever had eaten something before dawn should continue fasting, and whoever had not eaten anything before dawn should complete his fast. Narrated by Safwan from Yazid ibn Abi Ubayd from Salamah, who said: When we arrived at Khaybar, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw fires being lit and asked, "Why are these fires being lit?" They said, "For cooking the meat of domestic donkeys." He said, "Break the pots and pour out what is in them." Then a man from the people stood up and said, "O Messenger of Allah, should we pour out what is in them and wash them?" He said, "Is that necessary?"

I saw the trace of a wound in Salama's leg. I said to him, "O Abu Muslim! What is this wound?" He said, "This was inflicted on me on the day of Khaibar and the people said, 'Salama has been wounded.' Then I went to the Prophet ﷺ and he puffed his saliva in it (i.e. the wound) thrice., and since then I have not had any pain in it till this hour." (Using translation from Bukhārī 4206)

To the tribe of Aslam Allah has granted safety and to the tribe of Ghifar Allah has granted pardon. Verily it is not I that say this, but (it is) Allah the Exalted and Glorious. (who) says this. (Using translation from Muslim 2516)
[Machine] We arrived with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to Hudaybiyyah when we were fourteen hundred and fifty and we had fifty sheep that didn't have enough water, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sat on its mountains and either he invoked (Allah for rain) or he spread his hands, so we scattered, and we got water. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ called for the pledge of allegiance to be given in the trunk of a tree, so he pledged allegiance to him. The first of the people pledged allegiance to him, and he continued until he reached the middle of the people. He said, "O Salamah, pledge allegiance to me." I said, "I have already pledged allegiance to you among the first of the people, O Messenger of Allah." He said, "Also pledge (again)." So I pledged allegiance to him. Then he said, "Where is your bracelet or your ring that you gave me?" I said, "O Messenger of Allah, my paternal uncle, 'Amir, met me as a stranger, so I gave it to him." He said, "You are like the one whom Allah said about him: 'O Allah, enrich me (with wealth) and make poor (impoverish) me who is most beloved to me than myself.' " Then he laughed. Then the disbelievers sent a peace envoy to us until some of our people met with some of them. He said, "And you used to sell the horse of Talhah bin 'Ubaidullah, I used to feed and drink from it. I left my family and wealth as an emigrant to Allah and His Messenger. When we reconciled between us and the people of Makkah, and some of us started to mix with others, I came to the tree, so I swept its thorns and laid in its shade. Then four men from the people of Makkah came to me while they were disbelievers acting with aggression towards the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. So I moved away from them to another tree, and they hung their weapons and lay down. While they were like that, a caller from the bottom of the valley called, 'O family of Emigrants, Ibn Zunaym has been killed.' So I unsheathed my sword and went towards the four. I took their weapons and turned them into a pile of straw. Then I said, 'By the One who honored Muhammad, no man among you shall raise his head except that I will hit him where I mean.' Then I brought them to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and my uncle 'Amir came with the son of Makraz riding his horse, leading a group of seventy men. So when they arrived, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ glanced at them and said, 'Leave them, they will have the fruits of their misdeeds.' And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ recited the verse, 'And it is He who withheld their hands from you and your hands from them.' Then we returned to Al-Madinah and we stayed in a place called Lahy Jamāl. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sought forgiveness for those who ascended the mountain that night as if they were the forefront for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and his companions. I passed by them that night two or three times. Then we arrived at Al-Madinah, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent his pack with his servant Rabbah, and I was with him. And I left on the horse of Talhah, calling it on its back. When we woke up, 'Abd al-Rahman ibn 'Uwaynah al-Fazzārī had attacked the back of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, so everyone attacked him and killed his shepherd.

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ settled in a place, and the water source of the polytheists was nearby. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ and his companions were performing the morning prayer when they invited him to their food. When the man finished, he quickly rode his mount and rushed back to warn his companions. Salamah caught up to him and took hold of his mount, and then struck his neck. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ took his belongings as booty.

[Machine] I said, "O Messenger of Allah, I am engaged in hunting, so I need to pray but I only have one garment." He said, "Just perform tayammum (dry ablution) and if you cannot find anything but a thorny branch."

Salamh (bin Al Akwa’) said “I went on an expedition with the Apostle of Allaah ﷺ against Hawazin and while we were having a meal in the forenoon and most of our people were on foot and some of us were weak, a man came on a red Camel. He took out a rope from the lion of the Camel and tied his Camel with it and began to take meal with the people. When he saw the weak condition of their people and lack of mounts he went out in a hurry to his Camel, untied it made it kneel down and sat on it and went off galloping it. A man of the tribe of Aslam followed him on a brown she Camel which was best of those of the people. I hastened out and I found him while the head of the she Camel was near the paddock of the she Camel. I then went ahead till I reached near the paddock of the Camel. I then went ahead till I caught the Camel’s nose string. I made it kneel. When it placed its knee on the ground, I drew my sword and struck the man on his head and it fell down. I then brought the Camel leading it with (its equipment) on it. The Apostle of Allaah ﷺ came forward facing me and asked “Who killed the man? They (the people) said “Salamah bin Akwa’. He said “he gets all his spoil.” Harun said “This is Hashim’s version. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 2654)

[Machine] We went out to the Prophet ﷺ to Khaybar, and a man from the people said, "Which of us, O 'Amir, would you prefer to hear from your poems?" The Prophet replied and he started reciting, "By Allah, if not for Allah we would not have been guided." Then he recited some other poetry but I did not memorize it. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked, "Who is this poet?" They said, "It is 'Amir bin Al-Akwa'." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "May Allah have mercy on him." Then a man from the people said, "O Messenger of Allah, if only you would entertain us with it more." So, when they gathered around, he recited the poetry.

They said, "No." So, he prayed for him. Then, another funeral came after that, and he asked, "Did he leave any debts?" They said, "No." He asked, "Did he leave anything?" They said, "Three dinars." He said, "Three kiyats." Then, the third funeral came, and he asked, "Did he leave any debts?" They said, "Yes." He asked, "Did he leave anything?" They said, "No." He said, "Pray upon your companion." Then, a man from the Ansar called Abu Qatadah said, "O Messenger of Allah, his debt is upon me." So, he prayed upon him.

Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed by some people from the tribe of Aslam practicing archery. He said, "O children of Ishmael! Throw (arrows), for your father was an archer. I am on the side of Bani so-andso," meaning one of the two teams. The other team stopped throwing, whereupon the Prophet ﷺ said, "What has happened to them?" They replied, "How shall we throw while you are with Bani so-andso?" He said, "Throw for I am with all of you." (Using translation from Bukhārī 3507)
