ahmad:16499 – Bahz > ʿIkrimah b. ʿAmmār al-Yamāmī > Iyās b. Salamah b. al-Akwaʿ from his father

[Machine] He said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying to a man known as Busru ibn Raa'i al-Ir, who had a paralyzed right hand, 'Eat with your right hand.' The man replied, 'I am unable to.' The Prophet ﷺ said, 'You will not be able to.' Then the man's right hand connected to his mouth and he was able to eat with it." Abu al-Nadr said in his narration, "Ibn Raa'i al-Ir was one of the bravest."  

أحمد:١٦٤٩٩ – حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عِكْرِمَةُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ الْيَمَامِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِيَاسُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ الْأَكْوَعِ أَنَّ أَبَاهُ حَدَّثَهُ

قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ لِرَجُلٍ يُقَالُ لَهُ بُسْرُ ابْنُ رَاعِي الْعِيرِ أَبْصَرَهُ يَأْكُلُ بِشِمَالِهِ فَقَالَ كُلْ بِيَمِينِكَ فَقَالَ لَا أَسْتَطِيعُ فَقَالَ لَا اسْتَطَعْتَ قَالَ فَمَا وَصَلَتْ يَمِينُهُ إِلَى فَمِهِ بَعْدُ وقَالَ أَبُو النَّضْرِ فِي حَدِيثِهِ ابْنُرَاعِي الْعِيرِ مِنْ أَشْجَعَ

ابن حبّان:٦٥١٢ – أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عِكْرِمَةُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي إِيَاسُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ الْأَكْوَعِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي قَالَ

أَبْصَرَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ رَجُلًا يُقَالُ لَهُ بُسْرُ بْنُ رَاعِي الْعِيرِ يَأْكُلُ بِشِمَالِهِ فَقَالَ «كُلْ بِيَمِينِكَ» قَالَ لَا أَسْتَطِيعُ قَالَ «لَا اسْتَطَعْتَ» قَالَ فَمَا نَالَتْ يَدُهُ إِلَى فِيهِ بَعْدُ

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ saw Basr, the shepherd of al-'Anz, eating with his left hand, so he said, "Eat with your right hand." Basr replied, "I cannot." The Prophet ﷺ said, "You cannot?" Afterwards, his right hand never reached his mouth.  

الطبراني:٦٢٣٥ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ بْنِ سَوْرَةَ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ وَأَبُو خَلِيفَةَ قَالَا ثنا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ ثنا عِكْرِمَةُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ عَنْ إِيَاسِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

"عَنْ إِياسِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبيهِ: أَنَّ النَّبِىَّ ﷺ أَبْصَرَ بُسْرَ بْنَ رَاعِى الْعِيرِ يَأكُلُ بِشمَالِه، فَقَالَ: كُلْ بِيَميِنِكَ، فَقَالَ: لَا أَسْتَطيعُ. فَقَالَ: لا اسْتَطَعْتَ، فَمَا نَالَتْ يَمِينُهُ إِلَى فِيهِ بَعْدُ".
