٧۔ مسند المدنيين
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever plants a tree or sows a seed from which birds or humans eat, it will be considered as a charity for him."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ زَرَعَ زَرْعًا فَأَكَلَ مِنْهُالطَّيْرُ أَوِ الْعَافِيَةُ كَانَ لَهُ بِهِ صَدَقَةٌ
[Machine] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Whoever causes fear to the people of Medina, Allah will cause fear to him. Upon him is the curse of Allah, the angels, and all people. Allah will not accept any compensation or ransom from him on the Day of Judgment.'"
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ أَخَافَ أَهْلَ الْمَدِينَةِ أَخَافَهُ اللهُ ﷻ وَعَلَيْهِ لَعْنَةُ اللهِ وَالْمَلَائِكَةِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ لَا يَقْبَلُ اللهُ مِنْهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ صَرْفًا وَلَا عَدْلًا
I heard Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: There is nothing (in the form of trouble) that comes to a believer even if it is the pricking of a thorn that there is decreed for him by Allah good or his sins are obliterated. (Using translation from Muslim 2572g)
عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ مَا مِنْ شَيْءٍ يُصِيبُ الْمُؤْمِنَ حَتَّى الشَّوْكَةِ تُصِيبُهُ إِلَّا كَتَبَ لَهُ بِهَا حَسَنَةً أَوَ حَطَّ عَنْهُ بِهَا خَطِيئَةً
A man led the people in prayer. He spat towards qiblah while the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was looking at him. The Messenger of Allah said to the people when he finished his prayer: He should not lead you in prayer (henceforth). Thenceforth he intended to lead them in prayer, but they forbade him and informed him of the prohibition of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He mentioned it to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ who said to him: Yes. The narrator said: I think he (the Prophet) said: You did harm to Allah and His Apostle. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 481)
أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَمَّ قَوْمًا فَبَسَقَ فِي الْقِبْلَةِ وَرَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَنْظُرُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ حِينَ فَرَغَ لَا يُصَلِّ لَكُمْ فَأَرَادَ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ أَنْ يُصَلِّيَ لَهُمْ فَمَنَعُوهُ وَأَخْبَرُوهُ بِقَوْلِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ ذَلِكَ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ نَعَمْ وَحَسِبْتُ أَنَّهُ قَالَ آذَيْتَ اللهَ ﷻ
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said, "Whoever fears Medina, Allah will fear him. Upon him is the curse of Allah, the angels, and all people. Allah will not accept anything from him, neither charity nor justice."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ أَخَافَ الْمَدِينَةَ أَخَافَهُ اللهُ ﷻ وَعَلَيْهِ لَعْنَةُ اللهِ وَالْمَلَائِكَةِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ لَا يَقْبَلُ اللهُ مِنْهُ صَرْفًا وَلَا عَدْلًا
[Machine] The translation of the passage is: "Indeed, the Prophet ﷺ used to place the palms of his hands on his face whenever he made supplication."
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ إِذَا دَعَا جَعَلَ بَاطِنَ كَفَّيْهِ إِلَى وَجْهِهِ
[Machine] It is reported that when the Prophet ﷺ used to ask for something, he would raise the inside of his palms towards the person he was requesting from. And when seeking refuge or protection, he would raise the back of his hands in the same direction.
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ إِذَا سَأَلَ جَعَلَ بَاطِنَ كَفَّيْهِ إِلَيْهِ وَإِذَا اسْتَعَاذَ جَعَلَ ظَاهِرَهُمَا إِلَيْهِ
[Machine] He informed him that the Prophet ﷺ said: Whoever fears the people of a city as a wrongdoer, Allah will make him fear Him, and upon him will be the curse of Allah, the angels, and all the people. No justice or compensation will be accepted from him.
أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ أَخَافَ أَهْلَ الْمَدِينَةِ ظَالِمًا أَخَافَهُ اللهُ وَكَانَتْعَلَيْهِ لَعْنَةُ اللهِ وَالْمَلَائِكَةِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ لَا يُقْبَلُ مِنْهُ عَدْلٌ وَلَا صَرْفٌ
[Machine] Gabriel, ﷺ , came to the Prophet and said, "Be a doer of good and a sacrificer, and the doer of good is the one who helps others and the sacrificer is the one who sacrifices his own desires."
أَنَّ جِبْرِيلَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ أَتَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقَالَ كُنْ عَجَّاجًا ثَجَّاجًا وَالْعَجُّ التَّلْبِيَةُ وَالثَّجُّ نَحْرُ الْبُدْنِ
Khalid ibn as-Sa'ib al-Ansari on his father's authority reported the Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: Gabriel came to me and commanded me to order my Companions to raise their voices in talbiyah. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1814)
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ أَتَانِي جِبْرِيلُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ فَقَالَ أَنْ آمُرَ أَصْحَابِي أَوْ مَنْ مَعِي أَنْ يَرْفَعُوا أَصْوَاتَهُمْ بِالتَّلْبِيَةِ أَوْ بِالْإِهْلَالِ يُرِيدُ أَحَدَهُمَا
[Machine] He heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Jibril came to me and said: Verily, Allah commands you to command your companions to raise their voices in Takbeer and Tahleel." He said: A spirit (angel) with Takbeer or Tahleel. I do not know whether it was me, Abdullah, or Khallad in Takbeer or Tahleel."
أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ أَتَانِي جِبْرِيلُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ فَقَالَ إِنَّ اللهَ يَأْمُرُكَ أَنْ تَأْمُرَ أَصْحَابَكَ أَنْ يَرْفَعُوا أَصْوَاتَهُمْ بِالتَّلْبِيَةِ وَالْإِهْلَالِ وَقَالَ رَوْحٌ بِالتَّلْبِيَةِ أَوْ بِالْإِهْلَالِ قَالَ وَلَا أَدْرِي أَيُّنَا وَهِلَ أَنَا أَوْ عَبْدُ اللهِ أَوْ خَلَّادٌ فِي الْإِهْلَالِ أَوِ التَّلْبِيَةِ
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Gabriel came to me and said, 'Command your companions to raise their voices with Takbeer (saying Allahu Akbar) at the beginning of the lunar crescent sighting.'"
