[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "The people of Yemen are more tender and gentle-hearted, and they have better hearing and obedience."  

الطبراني:١٤٩٥٢حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ ملولٍ ثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْمُقْرِئُ ثَنَا حَيْوَةُ بْنُ شُرَيْحٍ عَنْ بَكْرِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو عَنْ مِشْرَحِ بْنِ هَاعَانَ عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «أَهْلُ الْيَمَنِ أَرَقُّ وَأَلْيَنُ أَفْئِدَةً وَأَسْمَعُ طَاعَةً»

"I saw Sa'ib bin Yazid sniffing his garment, and I said: 'Why (are you doing) that?' He said: 'I heard the Messenger of Allah say: "No ablution (is needed) unless there is an odor or a sound." (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 516)  

الطبراني:٦٦٢٢حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلَ حَدَّثَنِي الْهَيْثَمُ بْنُ خَارِجَةَ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا يَحْيَى الْحِمَّانِيُّ وَعُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ قَالُوا ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ ثنا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَطَاءٍ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ السَّائِبَ بْنَ خَبَّابٍ يَشُمُّ ثَوْبَهُ فَقُلْتُ لَهُ مِمَّ ذَلِكَ رَحِمَكَ اللهُ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَا وُضُوءَ إِلَّا مِنْ رِيحٍ أَوْ سَمَاعٍ»
