[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There is no ablution except in what you have felt the wind or heard the sound."  

أحمد:١٦٤٤٢ – حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي حَفْصَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ شِهَابٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ وَعَبَّادِ بْنِ تَمِيمٍ عَنْ عَمِّهِ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَا وُضُوءَ إِلَّا فِيمَا وَجَدْتَ الرِّيحَ أَوْ سَمِعْتَ الصَّوْتَ

"I saw Sa'ib bin Yazid sniffing his garment, and I said: 'Why (are you doing) that?' He said: 'I heard the Messenger of Allah say: "No ablution (is needed) unless there is an odor or a sound." (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 516)  

الطبراني:٦٦٢٢ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلَ حَدَّثَنِي الْهَيْثَمُ بْنُ خَارِجَةَ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا يَحْيَى الْحِمَّانِيُّ وَعُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ قَالُوا ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ ثنا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَطَاءٍ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ السَّائِبَ بْنَ خَبَّابٍ يَشُمُّ ثَوْبَهُ فَقُلْتُ لَهُ مِمَّ ذَلِكَ رَحِمَكَ اللهُ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَا وُضُوءَ إِلَّا مِنْ رِيحٍ أَوْ سَمَاعٍ»
