[Machine] I asked, "O Messenger of Allah, where will you stay tomorrow?" This was during his pilgrimage. He replied, "Do we have any Aqil who can offer us a place to stay?" The narration is from Isaq, and Abu Abdur Rahman said that the Hadith of Al-Awza'i is not preserved.
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The Dajjal (the Antichrist) will not enter Mecca or Medina."
[Machine] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came one day in a hurry and climbed the pulpit. He called out to the people that the prayer is congregational, so the people gathered. He said, "O people, I did not call you out of desire or fear that happened to you, but Tamim Ad-Dari informed me that some people from the people of Palestine boarded a ship and the wind threw them onto an island from the islands of the sea, where they found a beast with long hair that could not be known if it was male or female due to its abundant hair. They asked it, 'Who are you?' It said, 'I am Al-Jassasa.' They asked it, 'Inform us.' It said, 'I will not inform you or spy for you, but there is a poor person in the monastery who is longing to inform you and to spy for you, so they came to the monastery and found a man blind, bald, and chained to iron. They asked him, 'Who are you?' He said, 'I am Al-Arab.' They said, 'Was the Prophet ﷺ sent?' He said, 'Yes.' They said, 'Did the Arabs follow him?' He said, 'Yes.' They said, 'That is best for them.' Then he said, 'What did Persia do?' They said, 'It has not appeared on it yet.' He said, 'It will appear on it.' Then he said, 'What did 'Uyb do?' They said, 'It has poured forth its malcontents.' He said, 'What did Lake Tabariyah do?' They said, 'It has poured forth its malcontents.' He said, 'What did the Date-Palm of Baysan do?' They said, 'It has given food to its first and burst forth such a stream that we feared it will wash us away.' They said, 'Who are you?' He said, 'I am the Dajjal.' He said, 'Indeed, I will land upon the earth from its corner, except for Makkah and Madinah.' The Prophet ﷺ said, 'So give glad tidings, O people of the Muslims, this is Madinah which will not be entered by the Dajjal.'"
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "There was no Prophet before me except that he warned his people against the Antichrist (Dajjal). Verily, he is among you, O Ummah (nation). Indeed, he will travel throughout the earth except for this blessed land (Mecca and Medina)."

Allah named Medina as Tabba. (Using translation from Muslim 1385)
I have been commanded (to migrate) to a town (Medina) which would overpower other towns. They (the people) call it Yathrib; its correct name is (in fact) Medina. It eliminates (bad) people just as a furnace removes the alloy of iron. (Using translation from Muslim 1382a)
A bedouin came to the Prophet ﷺ and gave a pledge of allegiance for embracing Islam. The next day he came with fever and said (to the Prophet ﷺ ), "Please cancel my pledge (of embracing Islam and of emigrating to Medina)." The Prophet ﷺ refused (that request) three times and said, "Medina is like a furnace, it expels out the impurities (bad persons) and selects the good ones and makes them perfect." (Using translation from Bukhārī 1883)

I heard Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Yemen will be conquered and some people will migrate (from Medina) and will urge their families, and those who will obey them to migrate (to Yemen) although Medina will be better for them; if they but knew. Sham will also be conquered and some people will migrate (from Medina) and will urge their families and those who will obey them, to migrate (to Sham) although Medina will be better for them; if they but knew. 'Iraq will be conquered and some people will migrate (from Medina) and will urge their families and those who will obey them to migrate (to 'Iraq) although Medina will be better for them; if they but knew." (Using translation from Bukhārī 1875)
Yemen will be conquered and some people will go away (to that country) driving their camels and carrying their families on them and those who are under their authority, while Medina is better for them if they were to know it. Then Syria will be conquered and some people will go away driving their camels along with them and carrying their families with them and those who are under their authority, while Medina is better for theni if they were to know it. Thtn lraq will be conquered and some people will go away (to that country) driving their camels and carrying their families with them and those who are under their authority. while Medina is better for them if they were to know it. (Using translation from Muslim 1388b)
8.307 [Machine] Who feared the people of the city or intended harm upon them
[Machine] On the authority of Ibn Khallad, who was one of the companions of the Prophet ﷺ, he said that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever frightens the people of Madinah, Allah will frighten him, and upon him will be the curse of Allah, the angels, and all the people. No compensation or restitution will be accepted from him."
[Machine] He informed him that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever oppresses the people of Medina, Allah will make him fear, and he will be under the curse of Allah, the angels, and all the people. No intercession or ransom will be accepted from him."
“Whoever wishes bad upon the people of Al-Madinah, Allah will cause him to melt as salt melts in water.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3114)
“Whoever wishes bad upon the people of Al-Madinah, Allah will cause him to melt as salt melts in water.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3114)

“Whoever wishes bad upon the people of Al-Madinah, Allah will cause him to melt as salt melts in water.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3114)
We went out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and when we were in the Harrah, at as-Suqya (a halting place between Makkah and Madinah) which belonged to Saʿd bin Abi Waqqas, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ʿBring me some water for wudoo’.” When he had done wudoo he stood up and turned to face the qiblah, then he said takbeer, then he said: O Allah, Ibrahim was Your slave and Your close friend; he prayed for blessing for the people of Makkah. I am Muhammad, Your slave and Your Messenger; I am praying to You for the people of Madinah - bless their mudd and saʿ [weights and measures] as You blessed the people of Makkah, double the blessing You bestowed upon the people of Makkah, a twofold blessing.” (Using translation from Aḥmad 936)
The Prophet ﷺ said, "O Allah! Make us love Medina as You made us love Mecca, or more, and transfer the fever that is in it, to Al-Juhfa. O Allah! Bless our Mudd and our Sam' (kinds of measures). (Using translation from Bukhārī 6372)
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah PBUH looked at the sky and said, "O Allah, make Medina beloved to us as You have made Mecca beloved to us, or even more beloved. O Allah, bless us in its measures, spans, and inhabitants, and transfer its disease to Mahiya, which is Al-Juhfah."
8.309 [Machine] Preventing the False Messiah from Entering the City
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "The city will not be entered by the plague and the false messiah."
There will be no land which would not be covered by the Dajjal but Mecca and Medina, and there would no passage out of the passages leading to them which would not be guarded by angels arranged in rows. Then he (the Dajjal) would appear in a barren place adjacent to Medina and it would rock three times that every unbeliever and hypocrite would get out of it towards him. (Using translation from Muslim 2943a)
He would come but would not be allowed to enter the mountain passes to Medina. So he will alight at some of the barren tracts near Medina, and a person who would be the best of men or one from amongst the best of men would say to him: I bear testimony to the fact that you are Dajjal about whom Messenger of Allah ﷺ had informed us. The Dajjal would say: What is your opinion if I kill this (person), then I bring him back to life; even then will you harbour doubt in this matter? They would say: No. He would then kill (the man) and then bring him back to life. When he would bring that person to life, he would say: By Allah, I had no better proof of the fact (that you are a Dajjal) than at the present time (that you are actually so). The Dajjal would then make an attempt to kill him (again) but he would not be able to do that. Abu Ishaq reported that it was said: That person would be Khadir (Allah be pleased with him). (Using translation from Muslim 2938a)
[Machine] We went out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and he said, "O Allah, indeed Ibrahim made Makkah sacred and declared it as a sanctuary. And I have made Al-Madinah sacred within its boundaries, that no bloodshed should occur within it, no weapons be carried for fighting, and no trees be cut except for fodder. O Allah, bless our city, O Allah, bless our Sa' and Mud. O Allah, bless our Medina, O Allah, bless our Sa' and Mud. O Allah, bless our city, O Allah, bless our Sa' and Mud. O Allah, bless our Medina, O Allah, bless our Sa' and Mud. O Allah, make my two blessings accompany Your blessing, and by the One in whose hand is my soul, there is no valley or mountain range in Al-Madinah except that it has two angels that guard it."

It was said to ‘Ali ؓ : “Did your Messenger say anything to you only that was not for the people in general?” He said: “The Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not say anything to us only that he did not say to the people, except something in the sheath of this sword of mine. He took out a document on which there was something about the ages of camels [for zakah] and in it was said: ʿMadinah is sacred, the area between Thawr and ‘A’ir. Whoever commits an offence or gives refuge to an offender, upon him will be the curse of Allah, the angels and all the people, and on the Day of Resurrection Allah will not accept any nafl or obligatory act of worship from him. Protection given by any Muslim is binding upon all of them. Whoever transgresses protection given by a Muslim, upon him be the curse of Allah, the angels and all the people, and on the Day of Resurrection Allah will not accept any nafl or obligatory act of worship from him. Whoever takes people as mawla without the permission of the ones who set him free, upon him be the curse of Allah, the angels and all the people, and on the Day of Resurrection Allah will not accept any nafl or obligatory act of worship from him.ʿ The word mawla refers to the one who manumits a slave, who has a right to inherit ex-slave. Changing one’s mawla means giving the right of inheritance to the new mawla. (Using translation from Aḥmad 1298)
We have nothing except the Book of Allah, may He be exalted, and this document from the Prophet ﷺ. Madinah is a sanctuary from ʿAʿir to Thawr; whoever commits an offence in it or gives refuge to an offender, may the curse of Allah, the angels and all the people be upon him and no obligatory or nafl act of worship will be accepted from him.ʿ And he said: ʿProtection given by any Muslim is binding upon all of them. Whoever transgresses protection given by a Muslim, upon him be the curse of Allah, the angels and all the people, and Allah will not accept from him any nafl or obligatory act of worship. Whoever takes people as mawla without the permission of the ones who set him free, upon him be the curse of Allah, the angels and all the people, and Allah will not accept from him any nafl or obligatory act of worship.” (Using translation from Aḥmad 1037)
8.310 [Machine] The reward for those who endure the effort and hardship of the city.
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "No one leaves Medina desiring to be away from it except that Allah will replace it with something better for him, and no one remains patient in it and endures its hardships until he dies in it, except that I will be a witness for him or an intercessor for him on the Day of Resurrection. And the space between its two lava fields is made sacred, so no one should cut its trees or hunt its game. And no one from the people of Medina intends evil except that Allah will melt him in the fire like the melting of lead or the melting of salt in water."
[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "No one endures the hardships of Medina and its surroundings and dies except that I will intercede for him or he will be a martyr on the Day of Resurrection, if he is a Muslim."
Abu Abd al-Rahmin, I have decided to leave (Medina) for the time is hard for us, whereupon Abdullah said to her: Stay here, foolish lady, for I have heard Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: For one who shows endurance on the hardships and rigour of it (of Medina) I would be an intercessor or a witness on his behalf on the Day of Resurrection. (Using translation from Muslim 1377b)
[Machine] While he was sitting with Sa'id ibn al-Musayyib, the messenger of Nafi' ibn Jubayr came to him and said, "Your cousin, Asma bint 'Umais, is sending you greetings and asks, 'How is the speech that I informed you about?'". Sa'id said to him, "Inform her that Asma bint 'Umais informed me that she heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'No one endures the hardship and severity of Medina except that I will be a witness or an intercessor for him on the Day of Judgment."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited damaging or cutting down trees between the two landmarks of Al-Madinah.
Ibrahim declared Mecca as sacred; I declare Medina, that between the two mountains, as inviolable. No tree should be lopped and no game is to be molested. (Using translation from Muslim 1362)
8.311 [Machine] Who died in the city?
[Machine] That the Sumeitah woman from the tribe of Banu Layth ibn Bakr was in the chamber of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He said, "I heard her telling Safiyyah bint Abi Ubayd that she heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'Whoever among you is able to die in Medina, let him die there, for I will intercede for him or testify for him.'"
If I saw deers grazing in Medina, I would not chase them, for Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "(Medina) is a sanctuary between its two mountains." (Using translation from Bukhārī 1873)
8.312 [Machine] The pulpit
[Machine] On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ who said, "The pulpits of my pulpit are stations in Paradise."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said, "My pulpit is located on a portion of the Paradise's turf."
8.313 [Machine] What is between the grave and the pulpit?
Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Between my house and the pulpit there is a garden of the gardens of Paradise." (Using translation from Bukhārī 1195)
[Machine] "That the Prophet ﷺ said, 'Between my house and my pulpit is a garden from the gardens of paradise.' And in the narration of Al-Harith, 'Between my grave and my pulpit.'"
8.314 [Machine] The Virtue of the Scholars of the City
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "They hit the livers of camels seeking knowledge, but they do not find a scholar more knowledgeable than the scholar of Madinah." Abu Abdur-Rahman said, "This is a mistake, and the correct version is from Abu Zubair from Abu Saleh."
