"Women used to circumambulate the Kabah naked, saying: 'Today some, or all of it will appear And whatever appers I don't make is permissible.' Then the following was revealed: 'O Children of Adam! Take your adornment to every Masjid.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 2956)

In the year prior to the last Hajj of the Prophet ﷺ when Messenger of Allah ﷺ made Abu Bakr the leader of the pilgrims, the latter (Abu Bakr) sent me in the company of a group of people to make a public announcement: 'No pagan is allowed to perform Hajj after this year, and no naked person is allowed to perform Tawaf of the Kaʿba.' (See Hadith No. 365 Vol. 1) (Using translation from Bukhārī 1622)

"I came with Ali bin Abi Talib when the Messenger of Allah sent him to the people of Makkah with news of the dissolution of treaty obligations." He said: "How did you announced that no one would enter Paradise but a believing soul, no one was to circumambulate the House naked: whoever had a treaty with the Messenger of Allah, then for its period, or, it extended to four months, and when four months had passed, and that Allah is free from (all) obligations to the idolaters and so is His Messenger. No idolater was to perform Hajj after this year. I kept on announcing it until my vice grew hoarse." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 2958)

[Machine] Abu Huraira said, "I used to make the call with Ali ibn Abi Talib when he proclaimed the call to prayer among the polytheists. We used to say, 'No polytheist shall perform pilgrimage after this year, nor shall anyone circumambulate the Kaaba naked, nor shall anyone enter Paradise except as a believer. And whoever had a contract with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ for a certain period, then his term is until four months. And when the four months have passed, then Allah is free from the polytheists and so is His Messenger."
