8.101 [Machine] Prohibition of covering the face and head of the deceased

٨۔١٠١ النَّهْيُ عَنْ أَنْ يُخَمَّرَ وَجْهُ الْمُحْرِمِ وَرَأْسُهُ إِذَا مَاتَ

a man was performing Hajj with the Messenger of Allah and his she-camel threw him and he died. The Messenger of Allah said: "Wash him and shroud him in two garments, and do not cover his head of his face, for he will be raised on the Day of Resurrection reciting Talbiyah.". (Using translation from Nasāʾī 2857)  

الكبرى للنسائي:٣٨٢٦أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ مَالَجَ بَغْدَادِيٌّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَلَفٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ خَلِيفَةَ عَنْ أَبِي بِشْرٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

أَنَّ رَجُلًا كَانَ حَاجًّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَأَنَّهُ لَبَطَهُ بَعِيرُهُ فَمَاتَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «يُغَسَّلُ وَيُكَفَّنُ فِي ثَوْبَيْنِ وَلَا يُغَطَّى رَأْسُهُ وَوَجْهُهُ فَإِنَّهُ يَقُومُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مُلَبِّيًا»
