when the Messenger of Allah came down from As-Safa he would walk until he reached the bottom of the valley, then he would hasten until he came out of it. (Using translation from Nasāʾī 2981)  

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ «إِذَا نَزَلَ مِنَ الصَّفَا مَشَى حَتَّى إِذَا انْصَبَّتْ قَدَمَاهُ فِي بَطْنِ الْوَادِي سَعَى حَتَّى يَخْرُجَ مِنْهُ»  

"When the Messenger of Allah reached level ground at the bottom of the valley, he would hasten until he came out of it." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 2982)   

«لَمَّا تَصَوَّبَتْ قَدَمَا رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فِي الْوَادِي رَمَلَ حَتَّى خَرَجَ مِنْهُ»
