[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "They hit the livers of camels seeking knowledge, but they do not find a scholar more knowledgeable than the scholar of Madinah." Abu Abdur-Rahman said, "This is a mistake, and the correct version is from Abu Zubair from Abu Saleh."

الكبرى للنسائي:٤٢٧٧ – أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ بْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «يَضْرِبُونَ أَكْبَادَ الْإِبِلِ يَطْلُبُونَ الْعِلْمَ فَلَا يَجِدُونَ عَالِمًا أَعْلَمَ مِنْ عَالِمِ الْمَدِينَةِ» قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ هَذَا خَطَأٌ وَالصَّوَابُ أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ
