Allah named Medina as Tabba.

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ تَعَالَى سَمَّى الْمَدِينَةَ طَابَةَ

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Whoever abandons a Dinar is sinning."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَنْ تَرَكَ دِينَارًافَهُوَ كَيَّةٌ

‘The cupper and the one for whom cupping is done both break their fast.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1679)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ أَفْطَرَالْحَاجِمُ وَالْمَحْجُومُ

I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say. . . He then mentioned the tradition to the same effect. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4492)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ فَذَكَرَهُ

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Indeed, Allah does not show mercy to those who do not show mercy to people."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ إِنَّ اللهَ ﷻ لَا يَرْحَمُ مَنْ لَا يَرْحَمُ النَّاسَ

[AI] "And I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'Indeed, Allah has named the city as Taba.'"

وَسَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ إِنَّ اللهَ سَمَّى الْمَدِينَةَ طَابَةَ

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Verily, Allah has named it as Tayyibah."

النَّبِيُّ ﷺ إِنَّ اللهَ سَمَّاهَا طَيْبَةَ

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Indeed, Allah named the city as Taba."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ إِنَّ اللهَ سَمَّى الْمَدِينَةَ طَابَةَ

[AI] It was mentioned in the presence of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about Al-Madinah, so he said: "Indeed, Allah has named Al-Madinah as 'Tābāh'." Jabir said, "And I heard him (the Prophet) saying this."

ذُكِرَ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ الْمَدِينَةُ فَقَالَ إِنَّ اللهَ هُوَ سَمَّى الْمَدِينَةَ طَابَةَ قَالَ جَابِرٌ وَأَنَا أَسْمَعُهُ

[AI] "The Prophet ﷺ said, 'Indeed, Allah named the city as Ta'aba.'"

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ اللهَ سَمَّى الْمَدِينَةَ طَابَةَ

[AI] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Indeed, Allah named it Tabah.' Surayj said, 'Yathrib is the city.'"

رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّ اللهَ سَمَّاهَا طَابَةَ قَالَ سُرَيْجٌ يَثْرِبُ الْمَدِينَةُ

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Indeed, Allah named the city as Ta'ba."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ إِنَّ اللهَ سَمَّى الْمَدِينَةَ طَابَةَ

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying something similar to that.

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ mentioned Al-Madinah and said, "It is Taybah."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ ذَكَرَ الْمَدِينَةَفَقَالَ هِيَ طَيْبَةُ

[AI] We were with Abu Hurairah when Hasan ibn Ali ibn Abi Talib came to us and greeted us with peace. We returned the greeting, but Abu Hurairah did not notice him. So we said to him, "O Abu Hurairah, Hasan ibn Ali greeted us with peace." He followed him and said, "And peace be upon you, my master." Then he said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'He is a master.'"

كُنَّا مَعَ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ فَجَاءَ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ عَلَيْنَا فَسَلَّمَ فَرَدَدْنَا عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامَ وَلَمْ يَعْلَمْ بِهِ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ فَقُلْنَا لَهُ يَا أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ هَذَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَدْ سَلَّمَ عَلَيْنَا فَلَحِقَهُ وَقَالَ وَعَلَيْكَ السَّلَامُ يَا سَيِّدِي ثُمَّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِنَّهُ سَيِّدٌ»

[AI] "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'Talhah has become obligated.'"

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «أَوْجَبَ طَلْحَةُ»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Indeed, the one who is relied upon will be punished." So she said, "Yes."

سَمِعْتِ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِنَّ الْمُعَوَّلَ عَلَيْهِ يُعَذَّبُ» فَقَالَتْ بَلَى

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ naming the city Tabah.

«سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ سَمَّى الْمَدِينَةَ طَابَةَ»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "May Allah curse the one who bribes and the one who takes bribes."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَعَنَ اللَّهُ الرَّاشِيَ وَالْمُرْتَشِيَ»

“I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: ‘The (funeral) prayer should be offered for a child.’” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1507)

أَنَّهُ قَالَ «مَنْ سَرَّهُ أَنْ يَنْظُرَ إِلَى رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ فَلْيَنْظُرْ إِلَى الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُهُ»

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ سَمَّى الْمَدِينَةَ طَابَةَ

"I heard the Messenger of Allah [SAW] say: 'Whoever fights to protect his wealth and is killed, he is a martyr.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4084)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ قُتِلَ دُونَ مَالِهِ فَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Indeed, Allah does not like obscenity and vulgarity."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِنَّ اللهَ لَا يُحِبُّ الْفَاحِشَ الْمُتَفَحِّشَ»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "There is no usury (riba) in hand to hand transactions. Usury is only found in debt."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَا رِبًا فِي يَدٍ بِيَدٍ إِنَّمَا الرِّبَا فِي الدَّيْنِ»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Indeed, the best deed of a believer is jihad for the sake of Allah."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِنَّ أَفْضَلَ عَمَلِ الْمُؤْمِنِ الْجِهَادُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , say, "The city was named Tabah."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «سُمِّيَ الْمَدِينَةُ طَابَةَ»

[AI] I heard him, meaning the Prophet ﷺ, say, "He named the city Tabah."

سَمِعْتُهُ يَعْنِي النَّبِيَّ ﷺ «سَمَّى الْمَدِينَةَ طَابَا»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Indeed, Allah has commanded me to name the city as Tayyibah." And Abu Bakr said, "Tayyibah."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِنَّ اللهَ ﷻ أَمَرَنِي أَنْ أُسَمِّيَ الْمَدِينَةَ طَيْبَةَ» وَقَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ طَابَةَ

" That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: He who shows no mercy to the people, Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, does not show mercy to him." (Using translation from Muslim 2319a)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ لَا يَرْحَمِ النَّاسَ لَا يَرْحَمُهُ اللهُ»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , saying, "Whoever shows compassion to people, Allah will show compassion to him."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ يَرْحَمُ النَّاسَ يَرْحَمُهُ اللهُ»

[AI] I heard the Prophet ﷺ say, "Indeed, Allah ﷻ does not have mercy upon those who do not have mercy towards others."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِنَّ اللهَ ﷻ لَا يَرْحَمُ مَنْ لَا يَرْحَمُ النَّاسَ»

" That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: He who shows no mercy to the people, Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, does not show mercy to him." (Using translation from Muslim 2319a)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «الْمَعْكُ طَرَفٌ مِنَ الظُّلْمِ»

I heard Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: Angels do not enter the house in which there is a dog or a statue. (Using translation from Muslim 2106b)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنَّ الْمَلَائِكَةَ لَا تَدْخُلُ بَيْتًا فِيهِ صُورَةٌ»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, and he pointed towards Medina, "Indeed, it is a sacred and secure place."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ وَأَهْوَى بِيَدِهِ إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ «إِنَّهَا حَرَامٌ آمِنٌ»

"I saw Sa'ib bin Yazid sniffing his garment, and I said: 'Why (are you doing) that?' He said: 'I heard the Messenger of Allah say: "No ablution (is needed) unless there is an odor or a sound." (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 516)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَا وُضُوءَ إِلَّا مِنْ رِيحٍ أَوْ سَمَاعٍ»

‘The cupper and the one for whom cupping is done both break their fast.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1679)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «أَفْطَرَ الْحَاجِمُ وَالْمَحْجُومُ»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "The Imam (leader) is a guarantor and the muadhin (caller to prayer) is trustworthy."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «الْإِمَامُ ضَامِنٌ وَالْمُؤَذِّنُ مُؤْتَمَنٌ»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "The world will not come to an end until a man from my household comes forward whose name matches my name."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَا يَنْقَضِي الدُّنْيَا حَتَّى يَلِيَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ بَيْتِي يُوَاطِئُ اسْمُهُ اسْمِي»

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Verily, Allah loves the skillful."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنَّ اللهَ يُحِبُّ الْمُحْتَرِفَ»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Meet the sandals."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «قَابِلُوا النِّعَالَ»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say about the topic of...

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ فِي الْكَيِّ»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Modesty is all goodness."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «الْحَيَاءُ خَيْرٌ كُلُّهُ»

[AI] I heard the Prophet of Allah, ﷺ , saying, "He orders its settlement."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «يَأْمُرُ بِتَسْوِيَتِهَا»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying: "I am just a distributor, and it is Allah who gives."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِنَّمَا أَنَا قَاسِمٌ وَيُعْطِي اللهُ»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Indeed, I am just a distributor, and it is Allah who gives."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِنَّمَا أَنَا قَاسِمٌ وَيُعْطِي اللهُ»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Indeed, I am only a distributor, and it is Allah who gives."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِنَّمَا أَنَا قَاسِمٌ وَيُعْطِي اللهُ»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , saying, "Indeed, those who love each other for the sake of Allah will be in the shade of the Throne."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِنَّ الْمُتَحَابِّينَ فِي اللهِ فِي ظِلِّ الْعَرْشِ»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah saying, "Seek dust in the faces of those who praise."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «احْثُوا فِي وُجُوهِ الْمَدَّاحِينَ التُّرَابَ»
