[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Odd numbers for prayers of Witr are either five, three, or one."  

الحاكم:١١٢٩فَأَخْبَرَنَاهُ أَبُو سَهْلٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ النَّحْوِيُّ بِبَغْدَادَ ثنا عَبْدُ الْكَرِيمِ بْنُ الْهَيْثَمِ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِيسَى بْنِ الطَّبَّاعِ ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ الْحِمْيَرِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ الزُّبَيْدِيُّ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «الْوِتْرُ خَمْسٌ أَوْ ثَلَاثٌ أَوْ وَاحِدَةٌ»

أحمد:٢٤٠٠٩-٢١حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النَّضْرِ حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ بْنُ عُتْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا قَيْسُ بْنُ طَلْقٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا وِتْرَانِ فِي لَيْلَةٍ  

tabarani:8247ʿAlī b. ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz > Aḥmad b. Yūnus > Ayyūb b. ʿUtbah > Zaʿam Qays b. Ṭalq from his father

Qays ibn Talq said: Talq ibn Ali visited us on a certain day during Ramadan. He remained with us till evening and broke fast with us. He then stood up and led us in the witr prayer. He then went to his mosque and led them in prayer. When the witr remained, he put forward another man and said: Lead your companions in the witr prayer, for I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: There are no two witrs during one night. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1439)   

الطبراني:٨٢٤٧حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُونُسَ ثنا أَيُّوبُ بْنُ عُتْبَةَ قَالَ زَعَمَ قَيْسُ بْنُ طَلْقٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ
