The Prophet ﷺ permitted the people who provided the pilgrims with water to stay at Mecca during the nights of Mina.
عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ؓ رَخَّصَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ
The story in the above hadith has likewise been narrated through another chain.
عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ نَحْوَ هَذِهِ الْقِصَّةِ
(The same) was narrated from Ibn 'Awn, from Nafi', from Ibn 'Umar.
عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَوْلَهُ
"Indeed Khamr comes from wheat." [After mentioning this, he said:] and this is more correct than the narration of Ibrahim bin Muhajir (no. 1872). 'Ali bin Al-Madini said: "Yahya bin Sa'eed said: 'Ibrahim bin Al-Muhajir is not strong [in Hadith].'" And it has also been reported through other rotes from Ash-Sha'bi, from An-Nu'man bin Bashir.

[Machine] The narrator said, "I was with Ibn Umar when a man from the desert came to him and said, 'I have given my son a she-camel as a gift, and it produces camels.' Ibn Umar replied, 'It is a gift for him both in life and death.' The man said, 'I gave it to him as a form of charity.' Ibn Umar said, 'That is even farther from what it is.'"
"Ibn Uyaynah informed me about Ibn Abi Najeeh, who related from Habib ibn Abu Thabit something similar to this, except that he said, 'It was exhausted and agitated.' And Abu Sulayman said, 'His statement 'exhausted' means it produces camels.' The Shaykh (referring to the narrator) said, 'This indicates that what was narrated from Ibn Umar is reliable regarding...'" (rest of the passage not provided)
قَالَ كُنْتُ عِنْدَ ابْنِ عُمَرَ فَجَاءَهُ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْبَادِيَةِ فَقَالَ إِنِّي وَهَبْتُ لِابْنِي نَاقَةً حَيَاتَهُ وَإِنَّهَا تَنَاتَجَتْ إِبِلًا فَقَالَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ هِيَ لَهُ حَيَاتَهُ وَمَوْتَهُ فَقَالَ إِنِّي تَصَدَّقْتُ عَلَيْهِ بِهَا فَقَالَ ذَاكَ أَبْعَدُ لَكَ مِنْهَا
11983 قَالَ وَأَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ مِثْلَهُ إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ أَضْنَتْ وَاضْطَرَبَتْ كَذَا رُوِيَ وَقَالَ أَبُو سُلَيْمَانَ صَوَابُهُ ضَنَتْ يَعْنِي تَنَاتَجَتْ قَالَ الشَّيْخُ وَهَذَا يَدُلُّ عَلَى أَنَّ الَّذِي رُوِيَ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ فِيمَا
