عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بِنَحْوِهِ
‘More weak than Ya’qūb bin Atā ’?’ He said: ‘Yes’. Then he said: ‘I did not see anyone transmitting on authority of Muhammad bin Abd Allah bin Ubayd bin Umayr’.
ذُكِرَ عِنْدَهُ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ اللَّيْثِيُّ فَضَعَّفَهُ جِدًّا فَقِيلَ لِيَحْيَى أَضْعَفُ مِنْ يَعْقُوبَ بْنِ عَطَاءٍ قَالَ نَعَمْ ثُمَّ قَالَ مَا كُنْتُ أُرَى أَنَّ أَحَدًا يَرْوِي عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ

عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ نَحْوَهُ
"I heard Ibrahim (narrate) from 'Alqamah and Al-Aswad from 'Abdullah," and he narrated something similar.
عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ
عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ نَحْوَهُ
Yahya related to me from Malik from Nafi that Abdullah ibn Umar used not to fast while travelling.
أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ كَانَ لاَ يَصُومُ فِي السَّفَرِ
Yahya related to me from Malik from Nafi that Abdullah ibn Umar once entered ihram at al-Fur.
أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ أَهَلَّ مِنَ الْفُرْعِ
Yahya related to me from Malik from a reliable source that Abdullah ibn Umar once entered ihram at Ilya (Jerusalem).
أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ أَهَلَّ مِنْ إِيلْيَاءَ
Yahya related to me from Malik from Thawr ibn Zayd ad-Dili from Abdullah ibn Abbas the same as that.
عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ
عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ
عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ
[Machine] Hamza ibn Abdullah ibn Umar narrated it to me and mentioned it.
حَدَّثَنِي حَمْزَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ فَذَكَرَهُ
[Machine] "From Abdullah son of Amr son of Al-Aas, something similar to that."

When I came to Madinah, sickness was occurring in the city and they were dying quickly. I sat with 'Umar bin al Khattab ؓ and a funeral passed by, Good things were said about (the deceased) and ‘Umar ؓ said: It is due. Then another (funeral) passed by; good things were said about (the deceased) and he said: It is due. Then a third funeral passed by: bad things were said about the deceased and ‘Umar said: It is due. I said: What is due, O Ameer al Mu'mineen? He said: I said what the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ʿAny Muslim in whose favour four people testify, Allah will admit him to Paradise.ʿ We said: Or three? He said: “Or three.ʿ We said: Or two? He said: ʿOr two.” Then we did not ask him about one, (Using translation from Aḥmad 204)
